HELLION ACADEMY

HELLION ACADEMY A hell for Nulls, A haven for Elites. It took away my life once, never again. Everything I valued and ever cared for lost in a game they all love to play. Hierarchy. But not this time. Because I have something I didn't. I have power. After all, Power conquers all. Beautiful Onyx eyes glittering with silver flecks stared back at him before resting themselves into a deadly glare.

His entire form screamed danger and held a story so dark, it made SpiritBeasts look like a fairy tale. He had an angled face with a sharp jawline and untamed obsidian hair that shadowed his eyes. His body was so well toned and muscled, Raphael could see the eight pack straining against his skin tight black shirt.

He was like a Greek God, ready for war and by the ferocity in his demeanor, Raphael was suddenly reminded of the phrase 'Beauty Kills'.

Except in this case, it might be literally.

It was hard to look at him without being intimidated, especially with the look that was poised against him.

"Move"

The word jolted Raphael out of his stupor, his body immediately following his command involuntarily. His voice was deep and husky but had a sharp edge that could cut diamonds. He looked like a person who no one could deny and if they did, he didn't want to know the consequences.

What bothered Raphael the most was the power that radiated off him. It wasn't like anything he'd come across. Elites usually gave off a certain SoulPrint that could be easily recognised. Every SoulCaster had one but whoever this man was, he wasn't any normal being. His SoulPrint didn't hold the usual golden glow of an Elite but in fact something more darker and stronger.

Something dangerous and unstable.

Was he like him? Raphael wanted to ask but thought better of it. He'd already died once and that was enough to give him nightmares. Besides, expiring on the first day would be rather lame of him.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my room?"

The beautiful man snarled, eyes narrowing with a dangerous glint dancing within them. Had Raphael not been annoyed, he would have surely been intimidated.

"Name's Raphael and I'm your roommate. Apparently the Head had no rooms so I'm stuck here", he snapped.

Suddenly the air around him turned cold as the man moved with unimaginable speed and pinned him against the wall, his rough hands clasped around his throat leaving Raphael in a chokehold.

"Do not ever talk to me like that", he seethed,

"Unless you don't mind being strangled by your own intestines right after I rip your heart"

Technically, I would already be dead before you strangle me, Raphael thought sarcastically. He didn't even give him time to answer before he let go of his hold, sending him flying towards the ground. How welcoming.

Raphael gasped, busy gulping down large amounts of air before he heard a mutter of 'Pathetic Null' from the boy who looked at him as if he was a mere rodent. How dare he judge a person just because of his label? He was more than a mere Null. He was his own person and had every right to live a normal life just like anybody else.

White hot fury flooded through Raphael's veins, encouraged by his thought and resulting in his SoulSpirit screaming for release and vengeance. He could feel the power pulsing through his hands, threatening to rip through his SoulCloth as he tried desperately to reign it.

Easy, he told himself, Deep breaths Raphael, you've come this far to not ruin this.

Composing himself, he looked up only to meet the eyes of his beautiful instigator.

Cold. Empty. Merciless.

That's all they held. Curiosity struck him as his eyes met the stranger's gaze steadily. For some reason he couldn't look away. There was something about the deadly man that felt oddly comforting, like a warm bed or a hearth in the middle of the coldest nights of winter.

Snapping his eyes away the he grumbled something under his breath before leaving the room, slamming the door behind him.

Sighing, Raphael headed towards his bed and prepared to end the night. He decided to forget today's events by sleeping over it, since its always been the solution to his problems. Well, most of it anyway.

The bed was soft and comfortable and held his nameplate embedded on the wooden headboard. Grabbing the black sheets, he slipped under them and turned towards the unoccupied bed of his oh-so-very-cheerful neighbour.

His blood froze when he when he read his nameplate.

'Shade King'

Or as Raphael was once told,

'The Devil's Wrath'
