Chapter 4: Rescue Marium
They knocked on the door and the gate opened, Mahnoor came running and said "Where are my kids?." Saad said, "They're ok but we two are not." Mahnoor hugged her children and said, "Oh thank you." Anees said, "Hello my Darling." Mahnoor hugged Anees and said, "Oh thank God you are alive."
Ahmed Mamo came forward and said "I'm proud of you two." but his mood and he said, "Why didn't you pick up your phone? Saad."
Saad gasped and said, "I left it in my room, it was charging." Ahmed Mamo said, "Please take your phone whenever you leave." Ayesha came forward and hugged both of the Kids, and she said when she took a look at Ashad "Why are you covered in blood?." Ashad took a look at himself and realised he was covered in blood, he said "Had to take care of some of the things, they were closer than our comfortable zone." just Saad asked "How did you know about the things out there." they took both of them to the TV and turned it on, on the news the reporter said,
Warning to every citizen of our country, something bad is happening to the world, The Things are gradually taking over the world.
It is the order of the government to be at home and have supplies for three to four weeks.
We say it again the world is collapsing,

Ahmed Mamo turned off the TV and said "Zombies! they named those things." Saad said, "Just like the movies." Ahmed Mamo asked, "What movie?." Saad Begain after a deep breath "Zombies are walking Dead, they eat humans and then the Humans turn them into a zombies, they are mostly killed by destroying their heads."
They all sat down and Saad and Ashad entered after taking a shower Ashad wore Saad's clothes, "What now?." Asked Anees Ahmed Mamo turned towards Aunt Farah and asked "How many supplies do we have?." Aunt Farah said with a scared tune "Two days if we use with care." they all were frightened and confused, they had little kids with them, Saad gave chocolates to the kids and a biscuit to Sonia, Ashad said "You took out the Candy's?." Saad smiled and said, "Yes I did." Omar asked his Brother "What do you suggest brother?." Ashad suddenly remembered something and he stood up from the floor and went to the gallery with his phone,
Saad looked at him and Mother whispered to Saad's ear, "Go with him." Saad stood up and followed Ashad.
Ashad was on the balcony when he dialled Marium's number, he placed his phone beside his ear and prayed to God that "Oh Marium pick up." he was constantly taping the sealing of the balcony, a few moments later Marium picked up the call,"Oh Thank Allah!, Are you ok?." asked Ashad and sighed a relief but his relief was destroyed when he heard her Crying he asked, "What happened, Marium are you ok?." Marium replied but took many pauses in between "Ye..s I a.lri..ght." Then Ashad asked, "I know something is wrong, tell me." Then finally Marium replied, "My Family is dead, they turned into those things, I'm hiding in my room." Ashad panicked and asked, "Have you locked the Door?." Marium was crying and was breathing heavily "Yes I have looked at the door of my room, I'm hiding in the closet." Ashad said "Don't worry I'm coming to get you." he hung up the call and when he turned back Saad had listened to everything, "Don't even think to stop me." Ashad clarified to Saad so he wouldn't do it but Saad giggled and said "Who is stopping you, huh?." Ashad was perplexed and said, "Then what are thinking?."
Saad said, "Nothing, Shall we go to save Marium?." Ashad smiled and they fist bumped,
"But we should tell them." Said Saad but Ashad said in a confused tune "They will forbid us from doing that." Saad thought and said a few minutes later "Her house is close to us, if take out your car we will reach in less than 5 minutes." They agreed and they went to the hall where everyone was sitting, "I'm going to save Marium." said Ashad all of them stood up and Mother said "No way!." followed by the denial of Saad's mother as well, "But she is in danger, if we don't do anything she will die!." Mother said to both of them "No way sit down or I'll beat both of you!." Ashad was losing his patience and finally burst but with a low tune "Mom I'm not asking you but just telling you, so Goodbye!." Mother's eyes were wide she had given up, Ashad turned to Saad and said "Are you coming?." Saad turned towards her mother and then said, "Yes count me in." Anees stood up and said "I'm also coming." but Mahnoor got up and said "No!." Anees cut off her sentence and then said, "They protected our children now it's my time to repay." as he said Ahmed got up as well "Let us do this."
They Gathered any hard objects in the house that could destroy a head, they found 3 bats, one previously found by Ashad, and a hockey stick, Ahmed took the hockey stick while the other used a bat and they left, Ashad used his car, when they reach outside four men were trying to hijack Ashad car, Ahmed shout "Leave our car alone!." the four men turned towards them and charged with hockey sticks and with the intentions of possibly killing them, they prepare for a battle but they didn't want that but after all considering the situation of the world all of the people will be thinking about themself or their families.
One came closer to Anees but Anees killed him easily as he was a several-time Martial Arts champion.
he then turned towards Saad to help him as he was struggling, he killed him too.
Ashad said to his opponent "This hasn't have to be like this." but the man replied, "Shut up and fight." Ashad sighed and said, "You asked for it."
The man swung his hockey towards him but Ashad deflected it and struck from behind and successfully hitting him in the back, Lastly, Ahmad quickly finished off his opponent, today they killed four men, no one knows how many more will die, they entered the car and Ashad began to drive as fast as he could to reach Mariam's home.
On their way they saw the chaos was still intact people were leaving their houses or barricaded their houses, some were killing Zombies while others were protecting their loved ones, this Eid turned out to be a bad one as everyone was killing each other rather than celebrating.
They reached the house and Saad was about to ring the bell but Anees said to him, "Take aside boy." Saad stood aside and Anees broke down the house door with one heavy and Powerful kick, "Where's Mariam's room?." asked Ahmad
"Upstairs." Ashad replied, "Then go upstairs, Saad and Anees will gather Supplies." Ashad nodded and went upstairs and what he saw took away his breath, Mariam's mother was standing there, she was a Zombie now, she came running at Ashad, "No no." Ashad didn't have the guts to kill his future mother-in-law
Ashad bowed down and a Bat came hitting Her head, killing her, it was Anees, "What are you doing, you could have died there." he scolded Ashad, Ashad was crying he gathered his strength and stood up and went to Mariam's room, he knocked the Door but no reply came, Ashad was scared, he thought that she was bitten and she is one of them, Anees came took down the gate, but There was no one, Anees opened the closet and Mariam strikes at him with a kitchen knife, but Anees blocked the attack and said, "Oh oh little girl I'm you're future husbands relative." Mariam threw her knife when he saw Ashad, she got up and hugged Ashad, she was crying, she said: "They are dead, my family is gone." Ashad was calming her down, "Let's go before someone takes our car again."
Mariam Nadeen was a 21-year-old girl with dark black hair and the beauty of a moon, her height was 5'7.
They went down and saw Saad and Ahmad with bags, "Anees and Ashad pick up those bags there, we will have enough supplies for a week." They picked up the bags and went to their car, "Sit with your future Husband, Mariam." said Saad as She was sitting in the backseat, Mariam got in and Ashad started to drive.
The chaos was over now, there were many bodies, many humans still alive running.
Ashad took a look from the side mirror and saw a horde of Zombies coming at him, "Brace yourself." He raced to the car and Ashad drove with high speed, overrunning the horde, "They are quite slow, most of them walk but only a few runs." said Ahmad as he observed the horde.
They reached the house and went in, It was the time of Dhuhr prayer, and Ashad recited the Adhan in a slow voice so only they could hear and it could not escape outside, they performed Wadu(Ablution) and Ahmad led they prayer as a Imam after the Fard Salah(prayer) they all raise there and hand Ahmad said,
"Oh Allah the king of this world and afterworld,
The most merciful and gracious and Beneficial,
Protect us from this test,
Protect the world from this,
Protect the women and Children,
Protect the weak and sick,
Help us to overcome this Problem.
Ameen."
Everyone said Ameen and began to eat lunch prepared by the Women and some sat down on the sofas while others sat on the floor, thinking what the hell do we do now?
