" You didn't tell me you got married " Rosette said folding her arms akimbo
" Meaning" Hell raised his thick brow sipping his wine as he maintained eye contact
" She is human " Rosette argued yet again
" And it is none of your business" Hell spoke venomously surprising Rosette
" Of course it is not , but our lives is just starting to get better and that stupid bastard is just going to ruin it " Rosette coaxed placing her hand on his chest
" I think it's high time I rip out your tongue " Hell scathed removing her hand from his chest with evident disgust written on his face...
" I love you so much for you to be doing this to me , but I need not worry as she won't survive that long " Rosette said with rapour as she watched his eyes darken with much anger and if not that she was Rosette she wouldn't have lasted a second talking to him up to this point ....
Hell oozed with the urge of ripping her into two but it all disappeared when he got a whiff of that familiar scent ... The scent of mellow lily and lavender that was ever so gentle and addicting .. Using his eyes he traced his surroundings and was surprised to see his wife following an unknown man ....
His blood boiled intensely and all that came to his mind was the intent to kill and rip the man apart and hang his head for everyone to see .....
" Hades " Rosette uttered when she saw Hell disappear after a woman she guessed to be his human wife

Hell's body shook vigorously at the thought that she would have been harmed if he had gotten there a second too late ...
" Hell " Ardis said as she sobbed on his shoulders ....
" Close your eyes " She heard his deadly voice and immediately followed
She bit her lips when she heard the immense screams that was coming from the room in front her and then dead silence followed as her heart loudly thudded against her chest ....
She opened her eyes only for her view to be blocked by his chest ... The heavy stench of blood filled her senses and she raised her shoulders in alert ...
" Did you kill them " Ardis asked her voice laced with fear and uncertainty only for her to be replied with silence
" Hell " She said this time her fear becoming more prominent ... She pushed his chest in attempt to see his face but he wouldn't let her ....
" Hell!" She pushed this time more harder until he was now facing her. She gasped lightly when she saw how red his eyes was and how little wisp of dark smoke had began appearing from his body
" Please leave " Ardis heard him voice out with much restraint for the first time ... She stared at his face that looked like they were containing too much and she nearly cried
She was the one always causing problems and getting into trouble and he would always help her ....
" I am sorry " Ardis said embracing him tightly , fisting his hair with her fingers
Hell was totally shocked , he had expected her to cower in fear or run away but here she was embracing him
Ardis shuddered when he grabbed her waist tightly and rested his head on the crook of her shoulders
Hell escorted her back to her room with neither of them saying a word to each other , each still submerged in their own thoughts
" You didn't clean the place " Ardis spoke meekly
" They would do that " Hell replied
" You don't have to hide your fear " Hell uttered
" I must admit I am scared a little but it's not like it is something new to me " Ardis said as she went to the verandah with Hell following suit ....
"Hell , I want to know everything " Ardis said
"I can't say all but I can tell you some " Hell said before sighing
" Our marriage is more of like a compromise" Hell voiced out
Ardis wasn't dumb, she knew that right from day one that they were totally two different people that fate had decided to wed
" I never married you so I could love you or cherish or take you as my wife " Hell said in a nutshell
" At first I saw you as an object to use or as the very thing I was looking for which I am very sure you are though I don't know how possible that is " Hell further continued
" And that is" Ardis asked confused and pained a little
" You will find that out as time comes, but you are here for a purpose and that purpose connects the mystical creatures with the humans "
" And what makes me different from others " Ardis said trying to fight back the urge to cry
Hell lifted her up such that she was now straddling him
" Your heart , I must say is different from those that I have met " Hell replied when he
noticed her confusion
" Unlike me who clearly has no heart whatsoever " Hell said again
" Why do they call you hell " Ardis asked inquisitively
" That is the meaning of my name and that is what I represent " Hell said nonchalantly
Ardis stared at him in shock , why would a parent give their child that kind of name
" You must be mad at them " Ardis said only to receive a smile from Hell
" Your father is planning and scheming , it's likely that he is going to cause our divorce and there will be a time where you would have to fight me not like husband and wife but like enemies " Hell said surprising Ardis
" Why are you saying this " Ardis asked confused not liking where the topic was heading
Suddenly , Hell flipped her over such that he was now hovering on top her .. He lifted her chin with his slender fingers a wicked smile palatable on his face
" So you won't ever consider me your husband nor take me as one till that time comes " Hell said slowly tilting his head as wrinkles formed on her little face
" But you are my husband " Ardis said tears starting to form, clouding her vision a little bit
" One day you are going to regret ever saying this , " Hell said wiping her tears
Ardis felt her heart ache with every beat and pump, her throat tightening and her mind hazy . Life was never fair to her
