Hell's Insanity

"For it was told by the old books, where angels and demons collide" "When gods shall stretch their rule and dominion" "Ye have not be forgotten" "For men shall covet power". ........................................................................... In the year 3040 Earth has reached its limits, its resources depleted, its ecosystem destroyed, and even humanity hangs on its last rope due to its severe overpopulation. Conquering space was our only hope, but the help of several talented scientists in their various fields coming together made such a dream a possibility. Unfortunately, in the year 3045, an earthquake on a global scale sent every human on earth into a frenzy. At that point, a voice was heard by everyone, as a template hung in the sky. A question with two choices, an answer that decided one's destiny from that day onward. But unfortunately, not everyone picked the right choice. Elijah kingsman was a 19 years old university freshman, who had just escaped the horrors of world war 3 and couldn't have picked a better day to make the worst decision of his life. In his judgement, his very being was sent to limbo by an undead giant. There he meets an imp far different from his average fantasy personage. Coerced to make a deal, Elijah made a deal that would change his life forever. ............................................................................... “Don’t worry boy” “It seems I haven’t introduced myself,” the imp said widening the smile on its face. “I am Deltrich, ‘he who bears the Principality of knowledge’” Elijah wasn’t sure if he saw a ray of light coming from Deltrich. But he was sure of one thing, that this was no ordinary imp. Deltrich who was already done with his introduction, saw Elijah looking at him in awe, and puffed his chest up in pride. “I am sure there’s nothing you have that I want and nothing you can give that I desire”. Deltrich said choosing to break the atmosphere. “In other words, a deal which I’m sure would be satisfying to both parties” Elijah who wasn’t used to this type of situation scrunched his face up in frustration. He knew Deltrich,’ the Imp’ wasn’t his usual fantasy personage, so he decided to keep his mouth shut and listen to what Deltrich had to say. “In return, you shall ask me anything you want and I shall offer if it’s beneath my power”. ......................................................................... Clan meeting

"Surely clans fall every day, ours would just be another drop in the ocean" Dimos responded, clearly not backing down.

"HOW PROSPEROUS" Haris shouted.

"It seems clan elder Dimos is not in his right head today, so I would like him to avoid saying another blunder, so else I would force to retaliate myself" He said.

" I would love to see you try wi..."

"Fwooosh"

Suddenly a gusting wind swept around the hall carrying the pressure and the tension in the air along with it.

"Be quiet?" said a crude voice that carried some authority within it.

"Is this how you all should behave when we are currently with a sword on our throats".

"We are sorry for acting so foolishly in your presence clan leader" Haris said, as Dimos and Erostas both bowed their heads to show their sincerity.

"It had better be the circumstances of the situation had taken a toll upon you, as I wouldn't want to believe my esteemed clan elders had gone insane" the voice grew deeper as the pressure that leaked in the atmosphere only prove to show that he was the one that held the most authority among them.

"Where is Agartha? Why hasn't she yet arrived?"

"I thought one of you might have informed her how important this meeting would be" he said.

"I was the one that was supposed to inform her about the meeting taking place" Dimos said.

"So why isn't she here if the information had gotten to her?" he said.

"I'm sorry clan leader, but unfortunately her home was empty when I arrived, even her violet clawed cat was nowhere to be found. Meaning...…" Dimos said before he was suddenly interrupted.

"Meaning she left the clan, and had crossed the gates to the outsides of the clan with no permission. Is that what you wanted to say clan elder Dimos?" He said, though the tension in the air was currently rising at an alarming rate.

Dimos sighed as he looked at the man who had the most power in the room, squishing them would bear no effort if he wanted to release his wrath "Yes".

"Insolent brat" His voice thundered as the ground behind his foot cracked releasing his aura of a high ranked ascendant, but still holding them back as he doesn't want to cause unnecessary damages.

"Did she leave any message behind, maybe where she was headed?" he said trying to find something more reasonable to the story.

"Unfortunately no, her home was sealed shut and it seemed nobody knew where she left or where she had gone" Dimos said as his voice grew weak by the moment.

The arms of the wooden chair suddenly broke as Dimos legs grew weak, Savvas had finally reached his boiling point, as his aura went loose alerting the elders of just how strong he was as their clan head.

"Don't tell me she has finally given up her position as an elder, and choose to betray us in our weakest situation?" Savvas said with a grim face as he knew sooner or later that this was going to happen.

"I don't think so clan leader," Haris said.

"Why do you think so elder Haris? Savvas replied.

"Have we all forgotten that her sister is currently among the participants to the forbidden lands? Haris smirked as he said.

"And the fact that she had permitted for her sister to be part of master Bael's group? He added.

Savvas furrowed his brows as Haris was right. There was no need to send her sister on such a dangerous quest if she was planning to desert the clan now.

Unless she was trying to find an easier way out.

No, that couldn't be possible considering how inseparable those two sisters could be sometimes, and with the position she has as an elder, it would not be a joke to say nobody could stop her if she wasn't to flee.

Well, that option of course excluded him and the current position of the other 12 elders.

Sighing as he let go of his armchair, Savvas massaged his temples as the ongoing situation has put a lot of stress on his shoulders.

Already planning to close the meeting earlier as the most important individual he wanted to talk to wasn't around, and considering she was the reason he called the meeting in the first place he would have to pros-pone it since she's nowhere to be found at the moment.

"What are the reports about the current situation in the mining grounds?" He said.

"2,000 steel ores have been mined in the past 3 weeks" Erostas replied.

"How many steel ores have been sent to them in the past 14 days" Savvas inquired.

"180 steel ores in total clan leader" Erostas said.

"Any response from them"

"Yes, but the only thing they seemed to care about was the reduction in the number of steel ores been sent out"

Letting his breath escape from his mouth, Savvas stood up as turned around, heading back to his living quarters to get some rest.

"Send more people deeper into mines, continue reducing the amount that is sent to them"

"Let's just see how long we can hold out in the end," He said.

"We will try our best to the utmost of our abilities clan leader" Erostas replied.

"Good, just make sure your efforts are not wasted"

"And be sure to inform me when clan elder Agatha returns, because I would like to have a private meeting with her" Savvas replied.

"Of course, clan leader," Harris said with a respectful bow.

Savvas back disappeared as he went through the door, leaving the 12 remaining elders alone.

Looking at each other intently, the tension grew back in the room.

Dimos sucked in a huge amount of air, letting them escape from his lips once more as they gathered back into the atmosphere. Turning around, every one of them headed out immediately, to get back to their respective tasks.
