Hell's Eternal (Dropped)

*The last time I wrote a book was in second grade and language arts were always my least favorite classes. So don't expect gold.* A guy dies then meets a ROB who turns out to be a sadist. After which he gets a couple of wishes, and bada-bing bada-boom he ends up in one of the deepest parts of hell next to a certain insane angel. Sounds fun right... yeah... no. [A/N: I don't own the cover, if you're the original author and want me to remove it, please contact me.] [A/N: I do not own Marvel. I am only playing in their universe(s)]

C30 Begone!

In response, I pull her into my side. "Now, how about we watch the show, hmm?"

---

"Manitou, I have returned! This time, I will destroy you and all you created!" the black serpent hissed at the man.

"I see that you have returned, but whether you can destroy me, or Ghiizhigong, has yet to be seen!" Manitou shouts back at the beast.

Not wishing to speak, the serpent whips its tail at Manitou, who blocks it with an energy shield; but is thrown away from the force of the impact.

Climbing out of the crate, Manitou summons his bow; drawing it, he aims for the beast's eye.

The bow is then surrounded by multicolored energy, which flows into the arrow.

After the arrow is loosed, KhLΘG dodges by turning his head around to the side; however, this proves useless, as the arrow loops around, eventually piercing one of the beast's eyes.

A roar that destroys the nearby surroundings is unleashed from its mouth.

"If I—can not kill you first—then I will destroy everything else as you watch!" KhLΘG decides it would be easier to destroy the realm first, then kill Manitou.

Turning around, the serpent increases its size while oozing pitch-black energy from its body in the hopes it will corrode everything it touches.

"The only thing that will be destroyed is you, vile creature!" Coming to the aid of Manitou is nearly a dozen people dressed in traditional Native American attire.

One of them used bright, sun-like energy to remove the corrosive ooze by channeling it through his hands while aiming at the surroundings.

Said man is the one who was sent to retrieve the others.

He spoke to Manitou, "We have come, Father! Together we shall vanquish this beast back to the nothingness it belongs!"

"Yes. We shall do just as you say, Tawa."

Manitou readies his bow once again, wanting to do the same as he did before.

"Argh! Curse you! I will destroy you all!" KhLΘG once again left with no other option, ignores any danger, and rushes to Manitou.

"This snake is kinda stupid, isn't it?" I ask the two beside me.

"Yeah…"

"He's not scary anymore. He's too dumb to be scary."

"He should have gotten smaller instead of bigger; he's just target practice now," Sera says.

Lana chimes in again, "And he should try to use that black goo as a weapon; instead of just spreading it all over."

"Well—when one's head is clouded by rage, it can lead to poor judgment." I try to teach them a lesson from this.

"Oh, look. It's changing form."

The snake had taken considerable damage from the group's combined efforts and was changing form to regain some battle prowess.

'I wonder why that older guy is holding back so much?'

"It's become a giant—rock person—with no head…"

"Now, instead of just being a big target, it's a big AND slow target." Sera changes her evaluation of the creature.

After watching the battle for a while longer, something becomes apparent.

"They're having a harder time dealing with it."

The rock, while harder to heal, is much more durable than the scales it had before.

"Brother, are they going to lose?" Lana seems worried.

"Well, if it keeps going the way it is now, yes. But their leader is holding back for some reason; if he didn't, it would've been over in less than a minute."

Sera looks at him, "Why doesn't he just kill it then?"

"Maybe he can't, for some reason. Maybe the beast is—" I come to a realization.

'Yeah, that must be it.'

Looking at the two of them, I ask, "What do you think we should do?"

"Burn it!" Sera's go-to answer for anything.

"Why?"

"Sooo—so we can save them." Lana answers after some thought.

"Is that so?"

"Well—they don't look as smelly as normal people." Sera tries to come up with her own answer.

I give her a deadpan look, 'She just wants an excuse to burn it…'

"Should I do it, or do y—" I'm not able to finish.

"I want to!"

"Me too!"

'I suppose it would be good practice for them.'

I nod, "Alright, but if you have any trouble, I'm going to step in."

"Yes, Brother!"

I unlock their native power; with it, all their features are revealed as well.

"Your horns will enhance your energy control, like your wings but stronger, while your tail is better for physically fighting and balance."

They didn't respond and flew down after getting familiar with the new additions.

Right now, they can only use the power of their physical bodies and as much soul energy as their bodies can handle.

'That should put them at low hareld level, though just barely.'

If I let them, they could still use as much soul energy as they want; but this way, they can hone their control to a much higher level.

On top of that, physical bodies like ours can enhance an energy's effect, making it a good idea to channel all of our energy through them.

It just takes time to learn and for the body to grow stronger and able to handle higher loads.

---

"What do we do? At this rate, the realm will be destroyed before we can put a stop to him." Asks an older woman beside Manitou asks.

His brows wrinkle more than they already were, "I do not know Onatah. If I use more of my power, KhLΘG will also increase in strength."

"If it goes on much longer, it won't matter if you hold back anymore; there won't be anything left to protect," she laments.

He clenches his bow tighter, "If only I had—"

"YAHOO!!"

Pausing mid-sentence, he looked up to where he a shout.

Flying extremely fast were two humanoids. Though they looked young, it didn't mean they were weak.

He sensed power no less than his own children within them. Perhaps even more, as their power was hard to put a measure on.

They neared the rock monster while dodging the arrows already loosed at it.

One covered their wings with extremely dense golden fire; while the other summoned golden ribbons from beneath the monster, restricting its legs.

Once the legs were tied, the first flew past one of the beast's legs, trying to severe it with a wing.

Manitou had already seen how hard it was to penetrate the creature's body and was thus, very skeptical of them being able to hurt it.

This is why it was a great surprise to him that one of its legs was, in fact, cleanly severed.

"Strong fire." Onatah next to him was just as surprised.

The monster let out another roar as it fell over from a loss of balance. Once felled, more ribbons tied it to the ground.

Then, everyone continued to attack the same spot, its head.

It wasn't long until a large golden spear of fire pierced its head, drawing an end to its rampage.

---

"Yeah!"

"We did it!"

I saw Sera make the last attack with a spear of Soulfire, quieting the monster.

'Don't do it, you two.'

Afterward, they landed on the ground, not far from it.

'Looks like there is still much for them to learn; they even have their backs to it.'

As they celebrated, and the others were still far away, the beast quietly raised its arm and smashed it down at them.

'I'll have to give them a good talking to.'

---

"We did it, Sera!" I looked at Sera.

"Yeah! You tied him up, and then I came in and swiped 'im! It was so much fun!" she was making motions with her hands while explaining.

Looking up, I said, "I wonder if Brother saw?"

"Of course he did, how could he miss it—but where is he?"

"Here." Looking behind us, I saw Brother, though he didn't look happy and was holding his hand up.

I was starting to get nervous.

'Did we do something wrong?'

"Wha—"

I started to ask what was wrong, but a loud explosion came from above us.

Brother caught a giant rocky fist in his raised hand.

"Oh…" Realizing what I did wrong, I lowered my head.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Sera do the same.

"I am—disappointed," he said before turning around, away from us.

I trembled at his words and lowered my head further.

'NO! I'M SORRY! I know we shouldn't have turned our backs to it!'

"Begone! Your days of cause trouble are over."

The rock monster disappeared in a flash of golden flame before it could make a sound.

Brother turned back to us, he had a severe look on his face. "Mistakes are normal, but neither of you is normal. I expect better."

I and Sera; still had our heads down.

She answered before I could, "We're sorry, Zaaad! We won't ever do that again!"

I nodded afterward, "Never again!"

'Never, never, never! I don't want you to be disappointed—' before I could think more, I felt someone hug me.

"Get out of your thoughts, you two."

---

'Using my nickname to try and make me less mad, huh.'

I hug them close, "Get out of your thoughts, you two."

'Fuck. It worked.'

"Just don't let that happen again, or I'll punish you, even if I don't want to."

"Mm," they both hum into my sides.

It wasn't long after this little episode that I heard people approaching from behind us.

"We appreciate the help, but who are you, stranger?"

//Note//

That fight felt so cheesy…

I'm pretty sure the only people that will ever have a first-person perspective like the MC will be the people that are considered 'core' characters.

Right now that's the MC, Sera, and Lana.

--

If he use all his power, the story would be over in five chapters or less.

--

Apparently, 'Zaddie' sounds like '~Daddy~ Oh, yeah, fuck me harder~' to some people.

It's also a swear word in some language I don't know.

Soooo, yeah. I guess I won't be using this nickname, even though Google said it was a nickname for Zadkiel…

P.S. I was actually going to go with Zad first, but I thought it was too close to Zod and would be chuuni.

--

Yes. Nice MCs, are refreshing.

--

I wasn't able to find a good enough picture to reference for his bike. So just think of the most badass chopper you can and stick with that.

--

I don't know a whole lot about Native Americans.

I was even going to have them say, "How! Who are you, stranger?" but I found out that 'how' isn't used in any NA language as a word for hello.

Weird, huh?
