Hell's Eternal (Dropped)

*The last time I wrote a book was in second grade and language arts were always my least favorite classes. So don't expect gold.* A guy dies then meets a ROB who turns out to be a sadist. After which he gets a couple of wishes, and bada-bing bada-boom he ends up in one of the deepest parts of hell next to a certain insane angel. Sounds fun right... yeah... no. [A/N: I don't own the cover, if you're the original author and want me to remove it, please contact me.] [A/N: I do not own Marvel. I am only playing in their universe(s)]

C14 A Dog Named Mephisto

No, not a roar, It was more akin to a growl. And as it became louder, it started to sound like it came from a prehistoric beast, one that was right next to their ears.

Even the horde of demons stopped moving and remained silent, shivering in their spot, as the sound was too—frightening. To anyone that heard it, they would think the sound belonged to their natural predator. And to the demons, it sounded like Heaven's Wrath was whispering in their ear while holding a dagger to their throat.

The four leaders, while strong enough to ignore the mental impact, couldn't ignore the sound itself. It shook the ground as whatever made it drew nearer, and as it did the growl started to morph into a fast drumbeat.

By now, the entire town was also heating up. So much so that the buildings started to catch fire bit by bit. The ground even started to crack and splinter, while the clouds started to drizzle a strange Hellfire, burning even the demons.

The sound morphed yet again as the drums started to sound more like pistons. This surprised the monk and two demons, as they know who uses Hellfire and rides a motorcycle. But they also know a rider isn't strong enough to cause such a phenomenon while not even in sight, it didn't help that the last rider just died too.

Mephisto now had a sneaking suspicion of whom this may be, and he would prefer to be wrong. If it's who he thinks it is, he hates to think of what's happened to his realm—or his throne! Thinking this, he focuses on his connection to Hell and tries to see what is going on, but he gets nothing, he is still receiving power, but that is all.

Mephisto's eyes widened and were about to order something, but he was cut off by a loud explosion. The church which, miraculously up to this point was still standing, exploded. The fire brought by the explosion spread across the entire town. And, as if having a life of its own, it actively sought after and disintegrated any demons.

This made the two leading demons back away, not because they feared the fire, but it felt repulsive to them. The two other leaders, and their groups, backed away as well, this time due to the heat. The only one unaffected by the fire was the leading warrior, but he still retreated to protect his group if the demons should pull something.

The fire sought out every demon besides the leaders and rendered them to ash in no more than ten seconds. After which, instead of dying out, the fire grew hotter, and started to spin like a tornado, covering the entire town and making the clouds above spin red for several miles.

During this whole episode, the sound had slowed down. If before it was a rampaging lion, then now that lion was just laughing, laughing at the ineptitude and weakness of its prey.

The sound was not alone this time, however, accompanying it was a pair of gold-tinged sapphire eyes. The eyes seemed to ignore the fire and distance while looking at all those present. To those on the receiving end, it felt like the gaze bore directly into their souls—judging them.

Except for the two soulless demons, everyone shivered as the gaze passed them, even the hammer-wielding warrior was no exception. The eyes landed on Mephisto last, who had an ugly frown on his face.

They stared at him for a moment, and just before anyone could speak, an unworldly voice was heard, though it sounded slightly—unhinged, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You were going to have so much fun without me~ *Sniffle* Oh! *Sniffle* Oh, how you wound me so!"

--- [A/N: Cliff-kun, is that you!?] ---

"Alright, alright, alright!~"

Some say, "Manners maketh man," and I would agree, but I hold an even more profound truth, "Baddassery maketh man manly."

"Badass boots, check! Badass jacket, check! And most importantly, badass bike, check!"

Yes. I'm delaying myself to make sure I look good. Why? Because I can, simple as that. There's also the fact that I'm an angel now, and vanity runs in our blood, fallen or not.

'Am I a retard—probably. Will I still kick Mephisto's ass—absolutely!'

My bike looks similar to the one in the movie, but less—meh. Instead of chains and skulls, it's chains and wings, since I'm an angel and not some flaming bonehead. It's on fire too, obviously.

[A/N: I honestly can't imagine him with anything other than a chopper, and let's be fair, the one from the movie actually looks pretty cool from certain angles.]

I'm currently in the palace courtyard. It took me about ten to fifteen minutes to go from the bottom of the dungeon to the throne room, then about five minutes to claim the throne, and another two or three minutes to get ready.

Also, I left my SE engine on the throne. That way I can still use roughly eighty percent of the realm's power from just about anywhere. The only downside is that I had to take out such a large chunk of my soul.

It doesn't 'hurt' per se, but it leaves a constant emptiness as if there's a void that can't be filled. The feeling is indescribable, and it's certainly NOT pleasant. I don't plan on doing it very often or more than a couple of days at a time.

Back to the present.

I rev the engine, drop the clutch, and in a burst of speed, I slam through the front gates, all the while leaving a trail of magma a dozen feet wide.

I literally fly off the palace's front steps, gliding down to the ash-covered land that makes up most of the realm.

Turning towards the link to San Venganza, I increase to a speed that would make me nothing more than a blur to humans. Any obstacles are smashed, flattened, or simply jumped over by kicking the ground.

Nearing, what looks like a portal, I see an obvious lack of demons. My SE already disintegrated them since I wanted it to take care of all the demons in Hell, as well as "set the stage" for my arrival.

"Good job!" The only response I got was a wisp of Soulfire twirling around me and my bike before disappearing with a poof of smoke.

Almost at the portal, I ready a compressed ball of Holy Hellfire and throw it in ahead of me. I also slowed down just before entering the portal since I didn't want to end up on the other side of town.

Once through, I take control of all the fire and make sure to kill any demons. After that, I make it grow and turn into a tornado while also making several miles of cloud cover.

'That should be enough to block Heimdall's sight.' It's not that I'm afraid, it's just that having fewer people know what I can do, the better. 'I want to show off my strength, but that doesn't mean I want them to know how I use it.'

After the demons are dealt with, I turn my bike to the people who have gathered and look at them through the fire. I also peek at their souls since I can.

Starting at the left is a group of monks led by a bald lady that looks similar to AO from the movie. 'Huh—oh my god—she has curves! She ain't a model, but damn, it's better than nothing.'

Next is a group of warriors led by a very blond and very buff warrior with a hammer. 'I would call them cosplayers, but I know they aren't. Thor kinda looks like—well—he just looks like a blond dude.'

The last two, Blackheart and Mephisto, are alone and are to the side, far from the other two groups. 'Those two may as well be checker pieces. One is pure black, and the other is pure red. Even his two articles of clothing are red.'

At this point, I have two choices. Either to come off as a normal, sane person or to come off as a not-so-sane person. 'I think the choice is obvious.'

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You were going to have so much fun without me~ *Sniffle* Oh! *Sniffle* Oh, how you wound me so!" I looked at Mephisto while saying this.

What's worse than a strong person? A strong person who's also insane.

"But that's alright~ I still made it just in time. And I intend to have a lot of fun…"

---

Mephisto already knew it was Zadkiel and he also knew that his throne was taken by him since he lost connection when he showed up. His only option was to hide for some time so his backdoor could activate.

To escape, he would need to draw Zadkiel away from San Venganza, so he's no longer empowered by the realm and able to track him, and then teleport somewhere far away. Coming to this conclusion, he simply runs away. After all, honor is useless to him as a demon.

In response to this, the fire almost seems to smile as crazy laughter was heard from within. Accompanying it was the revving of an engine and the sound of magma splashing.

The fire surged forward, slightly lagging behind the eyes, as they drew closer to the now fleeing Mephisto. "Now, now, don't run! We haven't even started yet!"

The fire cleared slightly as the figure approached, revealing to the still-standing trio a red-winged individual riding a hellishly angelic motorcycle.

As he passed them, a golden chain swung out and caught Blackheart by the neck, dragging him behind the motorcycle and forcing him to take on the magma and Holy Hellfire that followed in its wake.

After he passed, the now duo and their groups, the Ancient One turned to Thor beside her and asked, "Was that an angel?"

"Indeed it was, and I know not how one was able to come here after their banishment." Thor sounded disgruntled by the discovery.

"Perhaps, he was never banished—" the Ancient One stopped there as Thor likely wasn't listening, and was probably thinking about how good a fight with the angel would be.

---

'I have to admit, this is way more fun than I thought it would be.' Mephisto is in front of me running like a dog, and Blackheart, or whatever's left of him, is being dragged behind me.

The other two are just following for now as there isn't much they can do. Not that they would want to do anything, it's not like I am doing something 'bad' right now. I'm just chasing a Demon Lord through a desert is all.

'Oh, there goes Blackheart. I guess he could only last a minute under those flames, hopefully, Mephisto can last longer.' I truly hope he isn't a masochist, or what I do to him will be much less enjoyable.

Anyway, Mephisto is currently running, very fast, towards the nearest big city. I imagine he is trying to slow me down so he can open a portal somewhere further from that magmafied ghost town.

I have chased him for about three minutes and we are nearing a somewhat large city. He is aiming for one of the main streets that go by the tallest buildings.

As I follow, the traffic is pushed aside by an invisible force, and the street is turned into liquid. The Holy Hellfire at my back and in the sky spreads throughout the city, but it doesn't burn anything.

Instead, it heals who it deems 'innocent' and makes those it deems 'guilty' feel the pain they knowingly brought to others, for some that meant death.

Mephisto sped up, making more distance between us, as he neared one of the taller buildings. He then turned the corner while using a portal, probably hoping for it to close before I get there since he likely thinks I will have a hard time tracking him this far from San Venganza.

'Too bad for him, I'm still connected to MY realm, and I can just force his portal to stay open.'

---

Mephisto jumps through the portal and lands on sand, "That should be enough to lose him."

"Not quite!" He hears from behind.

Mephisto turns around to see his portal being held open by fire, "How! How are you still this strong so far from the link?!"

After a short bought of laughter and letting the portal close after stepping in, the angel replies, "That's my secret~"

Whew—that was 4-5 different scenes I think!

P.S.

Lol! I was just looking up Heimdall to make sure I spelled it right, and I found out that not only is he supposed to be white, but he's supposed to be so white it blinds you.

At least according to Britannica that is, "Called the shining god and whitest skinned of the gods," I just thought that was funny.
