Luna was strolling toward the Nursery Room when a burst of white light in her peripheral vision made her steps falter. 

The fine hairs of her nape felt like they were pulling her backward, urging her to turn back and go in the opposite direction.

  Preferably, anywhere other than the Nursery Room where her twins were sleeping.

  But why the hell was she suddenly thinking like that?

  That odd thought only strengthened her resolve to fight against it. 

One fist clenching her metallic skirt, she hastened, putting one step over the other until she arrived at the front door and opened it.

  The lamp light in the Nursery Room cast a soft golden glow over a thousand little sunflowers hand-painted on the big white and turquoise walls, making it the coziest place for babies to rest.
