There was a common misunderstanding among the people of the tower that an Epic was someone with the possession of an epic class, in a way they were not wrong but were not right either.
When a person who is climbing the Tower, makes an incredible achievement or something that transcendent the common sense of people, The tower recognizes them as an Epic.
And while becoming an epic the class of a person also evolve alongside him, so the common people often misunderstood epics as someone with an epic class rather than one with achievements.
But what the epics indicated was something more profound.
An epic is an achievement that increased the existential power of the person itself. The combat boost he would get is a separate reward but for the person to be remembered even after his death for his achievements is what the epic's purpose.
and right now in front of their eyes, they were witnessing the birth of epic not one but two that too at the same time.
