Going to the Orphanage

Charlotte goes straight to the point and said that she wants to quit since there are other places that give better treatment and can make her stronger faster. After hearing that she want to quit, the Dean sighed and give the permission. He also asked which academy will she attend.

"I will be attending Spirit Academy in Spirit City with Nie Long. They have invited both of us to join their academy," said Charlotte to the Dean.

Nie Long just nodded to show that he is also going to the Spirit City to join Spirit Academy.

The Dean sighed again since Spirit Hall get another 2 geniuses joining them. He just stamped her resignation form of Charlotte.

Both Nie Long and Charlotte bow down to the dean before taking the form and leaving the Dean's office. They both walk out of the Academy and meet a lot of people looking at them.

A lot of girls look at Nie Long and guys look at Charlotte. Even though Charlotte doesn't show her true face as an Elf, she still has the trait of one. Like elegant while walking, and coquettish grin on her face that captured a lot of daze from the guys.

"Look, that guy is so handsome. He looks like an Ice Prince that came from the Coldest place," said 1 of the girl there.

"Yeah, he looks so cold but his cold stare might make me feel something. I want him to stare at me more with that cold gaze of his," said the other girl there.

The guys there keep talking about how Charlotte becomes more beautiful and mesmerising to them.

"Our Goddess become more beautiful than yesterday. How did she do that? I just want to stare at her as long as I can," said the guy in the crowd.

"Yeah, she become more beautiful. Maybe it is because she find her loved one?" said the other guy.

"No, the Goddess is mine, no one can get her," said the slightly handsome guy in the crowd. Everyone knows he was already rejected by Charlotte last year.

Everyone just stays quiet since they know nothing good will happen if they open their mouth.

A lot of students in the Academy don't know that Nie Long is Kurama when he is fighting in the Colosseum. Some might recognize him if they go to the Colosseum.

Nie Long and Charlotte walk out of the Academy and walk to the Orphanage where Charlotte lives for 17 years. She was abandoned by her parents since she was an infant.

She always wants to know why she was abandoned when she is a child. But right now, she doesn't even care about her parents anymore. She already found her new family that won't abandon her ever.

Nie Long and Charlotte arrive at the orphanage after walking for 15 minutes from the Academy. Nie Long looks at Charlotte running into the Orphanage. Nie Long shook his head and walk inside the Orphanage.

He saw a lot of kids around 3-5 years old playing around. A lot of child at 6 years old that already awaken and get Good Martial Spirit goes to the Academy. The one who doesn't get good Martial Spirit already works or helps the Orphanage Director take care of the other child.

Nie Long enter the Orphanage and saw Charlotte talking to the Orphanage Director. The Director looks at Nie Long and nodded his head. Nie Long follow suit and nodded his head too.

"Director, I want to become independent, so I won't be living in the Orphanage anymore. I already found a new house with a new family that will be taking care of me," said Charlotte.

"Is this Gentleman the new family that you found, Charlotte?" asked the Director.

Charlotte nodded and the Director get his answer. "You can stop living here but, you need to come here frequently since the kids in the Orphanage loves you and they will be sad if you don't visit them," said the Director.

Charlotte nodded her head once again. "I will come frequently Director since this is also my home. I will be packing my clothes now Director. Little Brother Long, can you wait for a while?" asked Charlotte.

Nie Long nodded his head confirming he can wait for her. Nie Long then saw Charlotte begin walking away.

After Nie Long saw Charlotte walks into her room, Nie Long begin asking the Director about Charlotte when she is a child. He always got teased by her, so he need to get her secret to tease her back. Now the Director who can be said a father figure for Charlotte is in front of his eyes.
