Chapter 5: Who Did It?

He didn't asked her any question again and stride out of the chamber and called the guards who were patrolling outside the chamber .They immediately followed his command and gathered all together in a place. They were also surprised by the changes in the king in just one day, but there reactions were not just like Scarlett, there expression was stern. Because they were all battle hardened men so they feel more threatening aura coming from their king. They don't know how can one person overall change would be this much in the short amount of time. But they didn't dare to show their doubts towards the king and stop all the questions and bury all the doubts in their stomach. Now he was somehow try to be immune from the intent gazes of all people, if he didn't do that he feel like he was some kind of rare species which was kept in zoo. He didn't try to bother about it and told them all.

"Scarlett is going to stay at my room for the whole morning, so don't tried to disturb me, because she didn't immediately come out of the room after her work. Okay, so now all of you scatter!"

When they were all gathered together they thought that which big thing was going to happen so the king gathered together them. Now to think about it was the such a simple task they didn't thought about it beforehand .But they thought that the king is going to spend time with little miss Scarlett, one by one those battle hardened men wore the lecherous smile and looking at their king. They all thought their little lord finally grew up. The previous owner is proficient in battle but not in this way. Garry also felt the gazes of this old geezers but he turn the blind eye to them and once again return to the room by closing the door. He simply can't stand the gazes of those guards.

Scarlett was also near the door entire time, so when she heard all the words spoke from the Garry's mouth and her heart was kept beating stronger and stronger, she tried to suppress her mood swing as to not seen by Garry.

After closing the door Garry got near the Scarlett and said "you also hear me what I said back there, now strip your clothes"

Scarlett knew that there would be a day that she has to became the king's concubine, but she didn't think that this day would come so fast that she didn't dare to believe it. She didn't hate the Garry in fact its opposite that she likes Garry who always tried to protect her. But this Garry was new to her original cognition. He never forced her to do anything which was against her will, but this Garry clearly saying that to strip her clothes, its like a command .she can't disobey the kings command but this time she will not be able to fulfill it, if he ever ask her before this she will surely obey him but this time she definitely cannot fulfill it.

Garry saw her in dilemma and his tone aggravated a bit and he said again" do you not hear me what I said before, now strip your clothes"

She never saw Garry was looking at this type of gaze looking at herself, those cold looking eyes which didn't have a shred of sympathy and by the site of this her heart trembled but she firmly said" sorry your highness but I cannot ,I don't want to be your women".

Hearing her words which was full of lies, Garry almost laughed out loud but he endured it and still making that cold looking appearance approached her. Seeing that Garry was coming to herself, she was prepared for the worst case scenario. But his move was beyond her imagination, he didn't say a word to her after approaching towards her, but directly ripped her clothes by the use of his personal hunting knife. His speed was very fast, so she hasn't even reacted yet and all the garments except her inner garments directly ripped and fallen on the ground.

Garry who was in front of her was said to her "I knew it..."

Then she saw Garry looking over her body with a heart wrenching appearance, she immediately tried to cover her body parts by the ripped garments, but he already saw what he wanted to see.

There were scars all over her body from top to bottom except her face, those scars were small and large in size, some were deep with even bone could be seen or some were only on the surface. There was burning patches on the stomach and thighs .Seeing her in this state his eyes reveal the traces of killing intent which would freeze someone to their bone marrow.

He said to her" who did it?"

From all these things which took hardly even the minutes, now she realized that all these were facade which was developed by the Garry, when he entered the room, and she was herself fallen into his trap.

Garry's body was enhanced by the space time energy and all his senses are heightened ,so when she entered his chamber he smelled the scent of blood from her, which he has some speculation about it and now he was sure of his guess. Someone harmed her while he was away gone to the hunting .Because even if his body was not enhanced before he still has exceedingly human senses, so he didn't find out earlier means that this was done while he was away from the castle, someone harmed her, but don't want her to die, but just wanted to torture her. As for who has grudge against her, he has a person in his mind but he wants to know the truth from her mouth.

Against the questions which were asked by the Garry she remained silent, he was expecting to her like this. Only she dare to remain stubborn in front of the king in the whole empire, because she knows that he will not harm her a least bit, because after seeing his previous facade she was sure of his guess. Maybe this move of her may melt down the heart of the previous owner, but she didn't know this was not the original king who always dotes on her and pamper her. If he treats her same as that of the previous owner then she will only die faster with the stubborn attitude of hers. He also like this little miss, but to always pamper her like this will cause only her destruction .Garry was more mature and has farsightedness compared to the previous owner. So he moved his body close to her and slapped her face, he didn't use any of his strength. He didn't know how strong his actual strength is and he has no total control over it yet. So he just lightly fanned her face.

Scarlett looked unbelievably at the swollen chick and then looked at the king. She just couldn't comprehend why was always doting her and to treat as the sister, where was the king gone. She has seen too many mood swings of the king today than total of all the years. This was the first time she was hit by him and she was staring at him dazedly .she just cant get over the fact that king who always treats her nicely, would be this angry for the first time. Garry didn't care for her dazed appearance and yelled at her.

"You think that by keeping your mouth shut that I didn't punish that person and wishes with your compliance. Then you were totally mistaken Scarlett, if that person tried to beat you till this situation ,then next time he/she will not hesitate to kill you. Just by keeping your mouth shut you are only speeding your own death. And I also know the person who did this to you; she must be your aunt or cousin. Am I right Scarlett?"

When he spoke all those words which were at the tip of tongue all the time, Garry saw the shaking figure of the Scarlett. He knows that she must have awakened from her that stubbornness. He gone over towards her and held onto her both arms. Now that he finally saw the tear marks at the corner of her eyes, she was strongly tried to hold back but they were keep pouring out. So he patted her head and comforted her.

"If you have to cry, then cry with all your might know one will able to hear you except me, don't store up all that sadness in your mind, if you want to share it I am there ready to listen for you".

Hearing his soothing words, she didn't hold back and rushed into his arms and began to cry loudly like a wronged child.

"Woo.....woo....woo...sob...sob...."

After that loud cry was stopped after the period of time, he take her into his arms gone towards his bathing chamber .After reaching that place, without even asking her, he immediately ripped all the remaining clothes which was hung on her body. Now that she was fully naked in front of him, hiding her private parts with her little hands. His gaze filled over her body was not kind of obese ,but full of sincerity .After seeing his gaze she loosen her guard .He took her and pour water on all over her body. When the wounds come into the contact with the water, she was showing a painful expression. But his hands didn't falter he washed all her wounds carefully, some scars may be infected with the soil so it is better if you disinfect it properly by the water, to speed up the healing and to preventing from any sequel to injury behind it.

When all parts of her body was caressed by the opposite genders hand she didn't want to show her face anymore. After washing all the wounds he dried her up and go to the medicinal box where his precious medicinal herbs were stored. When he tried to apply medicine on her she once again stop him.

"Your highness those were your precious medicinal herbs don't waste it on me!"

He didn't care for he words, and crushed those herbs and smeared them on her every little wounds. Seeing that he didn't heed her words, she silently wept to herself. After applying the herbs on her wounds, he picked her up and placed her on his bed, she tried to move but he forcefully held her and said to her.

"You have stay without putting on clothes for a while, don't try to move your body too much, this may opened your wounds, so just sleep for a while"

She doesn't know what to say to the young man in front of him. From entering the room till this point she filled like a dream. Even if this is a dream she didn't want to wake up from this dream forever, she always wanted to keep him accompany her like this. But she knows that this was impossible. In her wandering thoughts she felt the exhaustion swept from her body and she sunk into the deep sleep. Seeing her like this in her state he feels infinite compassion for her. He covered her body by the warm blanket and stood up from the bed.

When he saw the tear marks on her sleeping face he silently wiped them away and mumbled "such a poor child"

Then later on he called his servants and told them to bring Scarlett's all belonging from her aunts home and shift that all to the room adjacent to his. After that he stood by the top of castle looking at the greenery below the surrounding, and let the strong breeze of wind hit his face. He never felt he has this much of freedom when he was subjected to the control of the alliance.

When he saw today's state of Scarlett, he really wanted to kill those people but he controlled his mind so not to give any chance for other parties. There maybe various people in the empire who were subjected to this treatment, but he dint know it. Looking at this case he somehow felt that he was truly lacking as a king. He resolved himself; there would not be this type of case happen to any other person in the empire.

Garry himself really didn't realize, after his initially confusion arrival into this world, and to all the things which happened in the short amount of interval, he himself wanted to become the king to protect his subjects ,not just for the original owners wish but also for himself.
