♡ Chapter 40 ♡
Stella got nervous yet walked inside past Deborah. She was literally frowning in anger. Stella stood beside her and said, "I'm sorry mum for being late. I was so caught up with my friends that I didn't understand when it became evening." Another lie she told her mum cuz she doesn't have any other options. Would she say that Zach made her miss the classes or she saw Billy so she chatted with him for hours or should she say that goons had took her away? She was thinking about these sitting on the sofa as her mum told her to wait here.
Suddenly someone hit her with a wooden stick. "Ouch!" Stella urged in pain. "Why are you lying to me again! Accept it you weren't in the classes so when did you get the chance to gossip with your friends!?" She hit again. "Tell me the truth! Where were you all this time?" Her hit again and again saying, "Tell me! Liar. You're always telling me lies." "I'm sorry I uh actually met with Billy after so long that we went to a cafe and chatted for hours. "Don't lie again! Tell me with whom did you went to meet!? Tell me! Don't you have any common sense that you should come home at the time or at least inform me where you are! You bastard!" She hit one last time and the stick got broken. Stella's whole arm and legs were aching in pain. She just said sorry and went running to her room. "I hope you remember this beating next time, thus you won't make this same mistake twice!"
"God damn it! Why is it always my fault!?" she shouted under the pillow. She cried from the pain of her mind and body. "Ahh!" she just tapped the place which has gotten red and like a potato from that beating. "Damn!" saying she sat down on the floor holding her hairs and trying to pull her head off the shoulder in anger. She literally doesn't know what to do but first she locked the door if her room and then went to take a bath. Those wounded places have become hot, really hot. It's still hurting. And after getting out of the shower with the towel on, she went in front of the mirror. Bruises have took over his arms, right arm mostly. Anyhow she dressed up into her night dress and sat on the bed with her phone. Thanks to all the musics and songs those made her feel better, at least. Suddenly her phone rang and she didn't answered it cuz she didn't wanted to. His name still hurts but she doesn't even know why the hell he ain't in her block list!?
"Hello Stella!" Zach hurried to talk first while Stella's eyes became full with tears and she didn't say anything. "Stella, my love are you alright!?" That word 'Love' it's been so many days since she didn't hear that word from him. She couldn't hold her tears anymore. She just let it out as usual. "Are you okay Stella, hey! where are you? Are you crying!!??" Zach became nervous as he knows some goons took away Stella earlier. "I'm... I'm fine." Stella's voice cracked while saying. "Where are you!?" Zach asked with concern. "I'm at home, don't worry about me, I'm just...fine." She tried her best to sound normal. "Thank goodness. Oh God. Do you even know how relaxed that made me feel? I mean I heard from Billy that you were taken away by some goons somewhere he doesn't know. Oh God. Love you." Stella got shocked. A shiver went down her spine as soon as she heard him say that. It's been almost a month since she heard it. Love you this kept echoing in her head. "Mwah" Zach kissed her as well!? He's literally melting Stella's mind that was trying to hide all the feelings she had for Zach. "Well say something?" "I... love... you... too" was all she said. Zach felt such a quick relaxation and he felt really better after hearing her sweet voice after so many days. Also those sweet words from her voice which felt like they were only being said for him. "I love you a lot Stella! Now tell me, who took you away and where were you the whole afternoon?" Zach is really worried. "I don't know the place. I mean I...I can't remember much. Just the golden gate and the room and the Porsche and...and Brandon... " Stella's eyes became widened as she remembers his cold gaze. And oh his face which was right in front of hers.
"What did that bastard do with you!?" Zach got angry by hearing his name. That day he dared to hold Stella's chin up and now what had he done? All those questions inside Zach's mind. "Tell me Stella what has he done with you?" Stella sighed and said, "Nothing... it's just my hand had a deep cut because of a glass breaking. Now I'm fine." She tried to smile but failed. Also lied cuz she's not feeling well after all those wounds in her arms. "I'll kill that bustard!!! He wounded YOU! How Dare He!?" Zach got out of his sense now. Who's he gonna be killing? The most dangerous gang leader in America?
Yes, yes he will. He shouldn't have hurt Stella and now he has already done it... Zach would fight him. Zach thought all of these inside his head and suddenly Stella said, "Please Zach, I don't want any trouble. He was nice to me.. it was just an accident."
Nice!? First he dared to wound her up then he becomes nice!? To her gurl?!? Zach got really angry thinking all about these. After a moment of silence while Zach was just trying to cool himself down but to no avail.... finally he spoke, "I'm gonna beat that man black and blue!" Hearing his words Stella's eyes got wide and she tried to convince him, "Are you out of your mind or something!? He's a gangster also a leader." "Doesn't matter... he shouldn't have hurt you and touch you with his filthy hands. Now he has to regret it. Whether he's a gangster or the president."
Stella couldn't just understand where were these sudden protective activity coming from? "Please don't make yourself be in trouble. I won't like it. Let bygones be bygones please...?" Stella finally convinced.
