13 Forming the Death Rune

"If it was any other rune, you have to for it with the help of your magic power, but this is god rank rune." she paused for a second then continued, "No one can form god rank rune with hundred per-cent guarantee because god rank runes are the one who chooses their owner by themself. They have already formed consciousness; even they don't have the intelligence, god rank runes can feel which person is suitable for them."

Ayaan nodded before dropping his blood over the scroll. As the blood fell on the scroll, it spread all over the rune which was imprinted on the scroll.

In a blink blood-covered whole rune when the black dog inside the scroll became blood red, it started to materialise over the parchment.

At first, the structure of the beast was hollow, but slowly the beast became alive. The small blood-red body of a creature stood proudly on the scroll and looked directly at Ayaan.

'Roar!'

It roared, and black energy burst out from its body when black energy covered its body, all the red colour vanished from its body and what remained was the dreadful black body of the beast.

A shocked expression was plastered all over his face when he saw the scene taking place in front of him.

He was still in shock when the beast jumped at him with an unbelievable speed.

"Careful!"

A shout of Birdy resounded in his head. He didn't even know anymore, what is going on? He closed his eyes and tried to track down the rune inside his consciousness but didn't have any clue where it was.

"Arghhh!"

A blood-curdling scream left from his mouth when suddenly, the pain hit him from inside his head. His eyes turned bloodshot while his body started to shiver from pain and agony. Blood began to drip from his nose and ears.

As he was facing this pain, a small body of a dog, which was formed by rune arrived in front of his soul and released black energy, a death element.

His soul was immediately covered by death energy and started to erode his soul, or you can say it began to take it over.

"Fuck! This rune has already developed its intelligence!" Birdy who was able to see everything cursed loudly but she can't do anything, she was a small spirit without any magic power.

Ayaan was going through the same amount of pain or even more when he received the legacy. He was crawling on the ground while trying to breathe, but it seems, he couldn't even breathe at this time. At this moment, his condition wasn't any better than the fish out of the water.

When it was looking like there was no hope for him, two dark red eyes appeared above his soul. Immediately, everything became still. 

Slowly, those red eyes turned dark black when eyes changed their colour, dark energy started to release from them and fell on Ayaan's soul. Instantly, all the dark energy which was covering his soul began to gather at the same place and again turned into a small black dog, the embodiment of death itself. But this embodiment of death was scared at this moment.

After gathering, the black dog fell on its knees before saying respectful," Lord."

There was no reply from the other side; what came was even more death energy.

"No! Forgive me!"

When the energy fell on its body, it shrieked and begged but begging couldn't help it. The dark energy invaded the consciousness of the dog and erased it in just a blink, and everything fell into silence. The body of the beast started to fade, and a rune similar to the dog appeared on the soul of Ayaan.

Subsequently, a sigh left from the two eyes and slowly started to turn illusory. Hidden emotions could be seen inside them; there was longing, there was pain, there was fury hidden in those eyes and much more which couldn't be described with words. Eyes started to turn into the red from black.

"I hope you won't disappoint me, my successor."

A voice came from them, and everything vanished in the blink.

Ayaan's body was covered in a black fog, nothing could be seen, but from its shape, anyone would be able to tell, there was a small body of some beast inside the mist.

But at this time, the fog started to transform. The small body also changed from little to big, and a new body appeared in the cave.

He was still in the fog when the sound of footsteps started to come from outside the cave. As the person entered the cave, the mist also vanished from his body, revealing him.
