Sua Qiyi woke up early at 7 am. She asked Anya to prepare a bath and she soaked he's body in the warm water for about half an hour.

She got out if the bath and Anya handed her rose water to soothe her skin. After that, she changed into a pale green hanfu with dark green designs.

She had planned to go out to explore today.

The cold aura and pressuring surroundings forced them to listen and submit to the order. Their crying and bawling stopped.

Qiyi never thought of Conceiling this fact from the two witches.

Meng Yi was enraged. Qiyi had slapped her.

"What? Would you rather I go to father and spill the beans? Do you think father would believe his own blood or two take ins?"

Qiyi waa right about that and they could only shudder in despair.

"You all better stay in your place from now or else..."

Qiyi wanted to give them one chance at life. If they dont cherish life then she could of end it for them and for her own well being.

Concubine Zhi was the first to blurt out a "Yes of course!"

Followed by Meng Yi and the servants.

Anya stood there watching as the two vixens ran for their lives.

She commented to which Qiyi simply smiled a sly smirk.

"I am not sly for they are too foolish."

Saying that, she goes to her room to prepare for her outing.

In the market, two girls sat eating a chicken dumpling in a small stall near the main road.

These two were Anya and Qiyi.

Anya was dressed in a gray hanfu with a black hood over her head while Qiyi was wearing a black and white hanfu with black hoody. She also had an additional black mask to hide her overly gorgeous face.

From the black mask covering her mouth only her eyes could be seen but these eyes were not her usual clear black eyes.

They were hazel in colour while Anya's eyes changed into deep gray.

They used a high grade potion named 'Chamilion' to hide their eye colour.

The two girls had explored many small stalls and their next destination was the dark city.

Dark City is an underground plaza with many valuable treasures.

Anyone is allowed to enter dark city and no one is allowed to fight there unless you are fighting in the arena of the dark city.

The entrance to dark city was a teleportation circle in a big store named "Luminous".

it was a big shop with only a single floor.

It had a big gate which was the entrance to the dark city but to go there you need to pay one gold coin which is equal to 1000 silver. Also, 1 silver is 1000 copper.

Qiyi and Anya entered Luminous when they were greeted by a man who seems to be not more than 25.

"Welcome to Luminous. This servant's name is Fu Pei. What can u do for you?"

"We would like to register for Dark City."

Hearing that, Fu Pei led the two girls to the counter and made them fill the form.

They gave the man in the counter a small nod and followed Fu Pei to the entrance gate.

They handed him Two gild coins and finally entered through the gate.

The other side of the gate was the dark city. The first thing the two girls saw was the night sky and the many buildings around them.

Each of the buildings here were properties Dark City.

They explored for a while and then finally decided sit in a small tea stall near one of the small buildings.

Qiyi was sipping on her tea when she noticed a small dusty manual on the shelves of a small stall.

She squinted Her eyes and saw a faint purple light sound the manual.

She almost shrieked at this.

She calmed her nerves and once she did calm down she came up with a theory.

To confirm this theory which she theorized following what usually happens in transmigration novels, she squinted Her eyes and looked around here.

She could see faint colours around every object she squinted at. When she stopped squinting, the faint light around the object also disappears.

She was now sure about her theory.

About the grading though she was not sure she remembered the colour grades:

She calls out to the stall owner.

Qiyi said and the stall owner simply looked at the rusty book and with a sly smile he said, "20 gold coins."

Qiyi knew that this book was not of that price in actual and the owner only saw her interest and wanted to make a profit but she didn't want to waste time arguing and this book's actual price was way above that it auctioned for. So, she took the book, handed the money and ran off.

The old stall owner thought he made a fortune of only he knew that he gave away a treasure worth ten thousand gold coins to Qiyi for a measly 20 gold coins.

Qiyi dusted the manual and opened the first page which had the word, "Ten strokes of Hell" written on it.

After reading the book in less than ten minutes, a devilish smile bloomed in Qiyi's masked face.

"I've acquired a valuable skill."

If others had seen her evil smirk they would shudder in fear but unfortunately no one did.

As such, their outing ended and they exited the Dark City.

After reaching home at 3 pm or something, Qiyi Locked her door and sat down on her bed thinking back to the contents in that treasure she acquired today.
