Wu Yun looks at his stained fingers with a mix of awe and terror. He doesn't know what it means that the stain has grown larger. Is it because he's away from The Merciless Truth? Or because he used his powers?

He never tried to use them on a god before, and was half expecting it wouldn't work. Has bonding with The Merciless Truth made him stronger?

He chances another look at the blood-red stain. Or weaker?

The Heavenly Justice starts blinking rapidly and Wu Yun realizes that the effect of the thrall is starting to wear off.

He can't have that, there's still more he needs from her.

Wu Yun wraps his fingers around her wrist and looks into her brown eyes again. "Where is the fan Shu Ai took from me?"

She frowns, her thin brows knitting in confusion. "I don't know."

"What's your name," Wu Yun asks, mostly because he's tired of thinking of her as the 'Heavenly Justice'.
