Wu Yun shakes his head in silence, still looking down at the child.

When he musters up the strength to raise his neck and face Lan Tian, his eyes are mired with tears. "What happened to Wan Mi?"

Lan Tian doesn't have an answer for him, he can only look down at the sleeping child and try not to panic.
