The full blade of the sabre buried itself deep within the demon's chest, near the heart; eliciting a groan of pain from the demon. Adriana watched as its smoky eyes smoulder for a second, as she waited for it to breath its last.

A hearty chuckle resonated within the chest of the demon and it threw its bald head up in dramatic effect, its fangs were bared on the ready.

"What tha–" Adriana didn't get to finish her sentence before a violent blast of wind lifted her off her feet and back away from the feral beast.
