OLD MINING SITE, LANDS OF ORION, NETHERWORLD.

Abaddon sensed sound waves hitting the walls and he had enough time to act before he sent a vocal warning to Adriana.

" Watch out!" He yelled, as he spotted faint movement around the walls, by then his preternatural speed had gotten him halfway, and as he spotted the jagged rock tops falling, where Adriana stood, he conjured up a fiery shield all over him as he ran through.

With the fiery shield around his body, the rocks poised no harm, as they glanced off the shield or melted halfway before falling limply on the ground. He soon reached Adriana who was by then rushing to meet him.

This one wasn't a damsel in distress.

Abaddon thought as he caught up to her and wrapped his arms around her, the rocks fell in earnest, burying them beneath it.
