The Last Shred of Humanity (Tags - Reincarnation/System/Comedy)

(Caution: The following story has a cold Main Character who doesn't care for others.)

What if I told you that the world had ended. But a person has sacrifice himself to reincarnate 10 people to the past?

What if I told you that the person didn't actually die and saw how the greed of becoming a Hero of a Generation overtake each and every of those 10 people thus they wouldn't cooperate to save the world?

And what if I told you the cost of their greed was the entire world yet again?

Person: "Thats right. They no longer have any shred of humanity in them."

System: Would you like to abandon the last shred of your humanity to save humanity itself?

This is the story of someone who have seen the world destroyed twice and have abandon their last shred of humanity to save humanity.

(The following is what I wrote before I organized my chapter structures properly)

Mo Tian flashes open his eyes "I see. I have reincarnated back past."

As Mo Tian looks up as his Samsung S20. He realized its the year 2030. The year were it all begun. Where not only Magical Monsters appeared throughout the world, animal has mutated which became a threat.

"They should have been here for around a year now." Mo Tian thinks to himself about the 10 people he has reincarnated.

After doing a quick search online, he soon discovered that all of them were famous for their "prediction" and a quick read is enough to know that they are not even trying to save the world.

"Really. Of course the last 10 survivors would be the selfish type." Mo Tian looks up to the sky, wait actually the ceiling.

"I guess its all up to me now." I have seen the world end twice. I know how to stop it.

You would think in a world with Magical Monsters would have human adapt and have god-like magical abilities. Ahahaha. No.

After a month of destruction, humanity soon realized that humans can't really adapt to have magic. And soon used weapons to deal with Magical Monsters. Which barely hurt them.

Whats the ironic part? Magical Monsters have a small chance to drop a magical stone. Which grants users a magic power. And its near impossible to kill one. It took a WHOLE week before the first magical monster was killed. What? "Just a week?" Let me rephrase. It took the WORLD a whole week to kill one. It was only after a few months in did people with magical powers know a few methods to end it easier.

"A Magical Monster called 'Green Horn Minotaur' would have a weakness of their horns." Mo Tian recalls clearly.

Its ironic how a monster with Green Horn as their weakness use them to attack.

Mo Tian has a very clear hatred towards Green Horn Minotaud. What? You are asking why?

2 world endings ago... Mo Tian was seating on his bed playing "Mobile Legends" and was about to rank up to Mythic Glory. And suddenly a Green Horn Minotaur crashed down from the building. With his green horn specifically striking the mobile phone as Mo Tian was about to make a comeback and win.

In his perspective, he was playing a important game, a monster with green horn dive through his ceiling. Destroyed his mobile phone, and continued to dive down. Mo Tian felt so vexed back then. Actually, terrified and vexed.

Now we his amazing knowledge on how to deal with Green Horn Minotaur, he can set up a trap.

System: Detecting Monsters entering the world in exactly one week. Awakening System.

It was at this moment Mo Tian realized he did have a system.

System: Welcome to the Last Shred of Humanity System. Created in xxxx years ago. When humanity would fall due to the prophet world ending disaster, to counter it.

System: Detecting host, rewards given.

2 books immediately falls down onto Mo Tian's each hand.

"Lightning Bolt!" - Shocks the enemy and have a chance to paralyze them.

"Earth Punch" - Condense heavenly earth onto the arm to deal a devastating blow.

Mo Tian smiles knowingly how useful this 2 is.

In the entire week he did 2 things. Rank up to Mythic Glory in Mobile Legends. And buy lots of food in preparation of the world ending disaster. It have to be known that the System gave inventory space too.

A week later. Mo Tian has charged up lightning with his left hand. And condense earth on his left hand.

As he heard a smash through the ceiling, Mo Tian lifts his left hand and shouted "CHIDORI! Plak! I meant Lightning Blot!" Right on the horn of the Green Horn Minotaur. And immediately use the earth punch to destroy the horn.

The Minotaur immediately dies. The horn is like a heart to them.

And the destruction of the green horn minotaur.

System: Detecting Monster corpse, initiating magical stone retrieval and analyzment.

System: Failed to detect magical stones.

Mo Tian looks up to the now visible sky. "... I forgot Green Horn Minotaur doesn't drop a single poop." He may be a cold person to others. But his heart still ache in this moment.

System: Initiating Quest Option.

System: Kill a Green Horn Minotaur for a reward!

System: Failure will not do anything as it is the first quest.

"Why did you just. What? WHY NOW?!" Mo Tian yelled.

System: It was calculated when the green horn minotaur would fall. And by the time it landed, the system would then initiate the quest. You were the hasty one who killed it before the System fully opens and detects the monster to release a quest.

"..."

(Author's Note. I realized I'm doing this too slow. Time to speed it up or else it becomes a novel.)

Months pass by, with Mo Tian completing quests by slaying low and middle ranking magical monsters.

Wall Maria, Plak! I meant a wall was built around Singapore with many magical ability users and has become a safe place to trade.

Mo Tian walks up to the adventurer association and trade some stuff in.

After analyzing his current skills, Mo Tian decides to kill a High Level Magical Monster. Which equates to a boss of a country.

And Mo Tian walks outside with his legs starting to walk up invisible steps to the sky and starts flying towards the nearest High Ranking Boss.

Little did he know. Everyone who was there was amazed. Mo Tian is the highest level in the adventurers association.

Months flew by after the first High Level Boss was slain.

Mo Tian has formed a party of the world's strongest and better hearted people to slay the World Boss. The Boss of all Monsters.

How did he know that the party members were better hearted people? You see, he had journeyed many places with them...

Wait... Thats wrong. He simply used a Divine Inspection ability from the System to judge their character.

As Mo Tian follows the north wind to the sea lair where the World Boss was.

The World Boss proclaim himself as "The Judge Of Mankind"

It was a tough battle. Many lifes in his party was lost. The battle went on a few hours.

To clarify, magic battles are usually either you die or I die. A few hours is really long.

Mo Tian finally ends the World Boss with a slash of his word to the neck.

Mo Tian collapses and glances at the corpses around him. A little emotional.

System: Quest: Kill World Boss

Rewards: Revival of Team + Return of Humanity

Failure: System transferred to a more useful person.

As Mo Tian used the revival of team. He was hail as a Revival God.

A few years passed... And the world ending disaster was resolved.

And a familiar Mobile Legends app was loaded. And he realized he dropped to Master in the rank. Which was about 4 ranks lower than Mythic Glory.

Mo Tian looks up into the sky with tears streaming down. "How do you expect me to play when I am saving the world?!"
