The Final Time Travel

Author's Note: I had a dream similar to what I have wrote down. So it isn't consistent nor is it good. But I felt like it's writiable worthy. But might be worth skipping if you want.

In another universe, earthling's have unearthed an ancient too well-preserved giant mummy.

This mummy has always believed aliens existed.

However, it seems that unveiling the mummy has set off an unprecedented curse. Anyone touching metal can be detected by zombies that appeared out of nowhere.

Yen Goa, was one of the few that managed to escape. Her best friend - a female genius in medicine, having to be converted before her eyes. The knowledge of metal attracting have not passed. And everyone who touched metal railings, phone parts will be attracted.

Many years later, a Time Travel machine has been made. Yet, due to the circumstances, only Yen Goa managed to return. And to the day of the mummy unveiling. She wasn't able to stop it in time.

She started by shouting everyone not to touch Metal. And finding her genius friend. Maybe, in this timeline, she can find the cure.

After a brief struggle of escaping, they jumped into a place with sewage and pipes. Yen Goa's friend wasn't lucky. The fall was protected by the water, but she still touched the pipe with the metal.

Yen Goa, at this moment. Knew that if the zombie attacked. The friend wouldn't live.

She reached her hand forth and touched the metal. Trying to distract the zombie.

She tried to climb on sewage pipes, even dive under sewage, but was eventually caught. At her last breath. She saw her friend watching. It turns out her friend was an alien.

"Looks like that settles the Time Traveling survivor... Why didn't she time travel earlier?"

The circumstances was.

1) Yen Goa could have Time Travelled Earlier, but risk messing with the Timeline. However, before they could set a time to travel to, they were invaded by medicine.

2) Everytime Yen Goa is earlier than the mummy unveiling time, a prohopical curse would appear, to stop the Time Traveller. And no one knows what that is. (The reader know it is the Friend aka Alien)

3) Based on a prophecy, each life saved/destroyed that was not suppose to happen will cause the Timeline to be unstable and damaged. Timeline issues will manifest.

As Yen Goa turns into an alien, she felt unfair. Not to end down like this. It took a while, but it felt as if she was regaining control of her hand. Afterwards her feet, head, and body.

In a few undescribable moments, she managed to remake the Time Machine and turned back time into an earlier age.

She was back to a certain school*. And her other two friends was there. One of them is the alien, and Meng Yue. The scientist who managed to invent Time Travel.

Yen Goa immediately pulled Meng Yue aside. Hoping to tell her the truth. But whenever Yen Goa wanted to say, the alien would appear to mess with them. Even when they're supposedly alone, the alien would appear to as if make sure Yen Goa doesn't speak the truth.

This back and forth happened for a while. Before the alien straight up confront Yen Goa, wanting to force her to keep her future memories a secret, to protect her.

It turns out, when Yen Goa was afflicted with the zombie virus, the alien used the cells in her to also go back in time.

Yen Goa, did not heed to the advice, and instead found a chance to tell Meng Yue. Suddenly, as if evil has surfaced, Meng Yue had a evil grin has she sliced Yen Goa into three pieces, the top showing her oldest future, middle shirt showing the 1st time she time travelled. And the last shirt is the current present.

This is the price of Time Travelling and saving someone's life. The cost is your own life.

The alien sighed, in the end, Yen Goa never decided to save her father. Only wanting to ever save humanity, knowing that if her father lives, she won't be able to save Meng Yue.

Little did she know... Meng Yue was also an alien. An alien that was suppose to "die" after inventing Time Travel. An elaborate alien plan to make sure anyone who is anyone will die and humanity stays doomed.
