"What's so funny?" Peter persisted with his questioning. But it didn’t help him to understand General Firoh’s constant laughs. "Why are you laughing?"

“Because… you’ve just failed,” he revealed. The words struck Peter so intensely that he nearly lost his balance. How can this be done? How did he end up losing?

Then, amidst his perplexity, he heard a sound. The sudden bursts. The sound of gunfire hitting what seemed to be a radio. General Firoh beamed with joy. "Did you hear that?" That's the sound of your convoy being attacked.

Peter was trembling... His disbelief rendered him as delicate as a plant."Well not yours at least… but, also yours," General Firoh clarified. "In this straightforward game of checkers, I've just led you along until I cornered you." It seems like no matter what you do, you end up losing.

"You hesitated..." Peter grumbled, his voice dripping with disdain. "You paused, you repulsive—"
