Chapter 1

I've loved you since I met you...

NOVAH

It's morning, a beautiful and refreshing morning. The sky looks so clear and beautiful and the sun shining on my eyes. I was standing outside the house in our huge garden while holding a hot coffee cup in my hand.

"What a beautiful morning, ain't it? Princess." I turn my head at my left side and just to see my smiling father there standing while looking up at the sky admiring it. I smile at him and said, "yes it is." I agreed then I notice something "Hmm....btw Mr. boyfriend shouldn't you be in your office clothes!! Why are you still on your PJ?"

His smile faded away. He looked at me blankly. "you don't want your father to take a leave from his work and rest?" He finished his words and pouts like a little kid. I blink twice and chuckled at him. "of course I want that. Why won't I? You do need rest, after all, you really worked hard and struggled a lot father."

I said politely and give him a warm smile. My cute father looked at me smiling then walking towards me he pulled me into his embrace. I got a bit shock "Oh my father careful, coffee—"

I words got cut off by his sweet talk "just stay with me like this for a while. You don't know how much I love princess. You are my world to me."

I felt so happy and blessed after hearing those warmer words from my father. After all, he always supported me and inspire me.

We broke the hug as father peak on my forehead and patted my head gently. Then he said, "don't work too much. Take care of yourself too ok?"

I nodded happily like a little baby girl. Then we head inside the house to have our breakfast. When we got inside we saw three figures at the giant dining table.

Father walked towards the king's chair which is his chair and sit down. At his left, my beautiful Mother was already sitting and beside her my older brother Owen. I walked to my chair which at the right side of my papa's and sit down. Besides me, it was my second older brother who was sitting, Ian.

"where were you both daughter and father?" my mother asked as we took our seat. "was just chilling. Why? are you feeling jealous that I'm spending time with my girlfriend more than you wifey?" Papa replied winking at my mother.

Mother's face turns reddish as she lightly hit father's arms. We all burst out laughing. Like yes, my family is a very cheerful and friendly type. My parents are just like our best friends, we kid never hide anything from them. A happy and complete family you can say.

I'm Ardolf Smith Novah and a fashion designer. I've been working as a fashion designer since 2 years ago after I graduate from my university and started to work on my goals. I'm the youngest child in my family. I'm 23 years old and an independent woman. I've two older brothers and loving parents. And I'm forever single. And imma a nerd too.

At work~~

I was at my cabin checking up on some new designs. I got some new ideas for my new dresses. I heard a knock on my door I took time to glance at the glass door and saw my brother outside while smiling. "Ian!! Come in."

I put down the pencil and I raised the glasses with my index finger. As soon as he entered the room he walked towards me. Then he sat on the comfy couch which is kept at my cabin. My eyes were still locked on him as I was smiling like an idiot. "What?" turning his head to me he asked.

Unbelievable I have such a big brother. Taking a deep sigh I asked, "Any news?". He looked down and shakes his head sideways twice. "at least give your brother a chance to breathe....anyways your designs got the approval from the YMK Fashions. They said they'll be blessed with your talents if they collaborate with you." He explains and my face brightens up as I grin ear to ear.

"OMG REALLY!!! Ian, I'm so happy!!!" I excitingly said. But I saw no happiness sign on his face. He had a gloomy face and a worried one too. "Is everything okay?" I started getting worried about him. He snapped out as soon as he heard me. "h-huh!!?....o-Ohh no! It's just....." He is hesitating.

"Just what?" I was being curious here. He sighed weakly as he stands up and walked towards my table. He sat down and made himself comfortable as he looked at me worriedly.

He started to explain to me. "There is a man in our business industry. You see, I heard he got a lot of profits and shares at the market (I don't mean the shopping market but business market) his reputation is higher than us." I was listening to him carefully, "Okay so where is the problem with!?"

I asked as I grabbed my pencil and started to do my work again. But Ian seems way more serious about this guy. "He is the kind of businessman who first looks for a company's problems or issues before dealing with the company. And once he found a few problems and especially if it's related to our workers he'll buy that company at any cost. He doesn't care about the owner or the money. I even heard that in the market everyone respects him as a successful businessman but no one likes him a bit because of his behavior and personality. He kills people with his words and works."

I was listening to my brother's story while doing my job. My focus was on the design but I also was getting interested in my brother's story. I looked at him as my curiosity was killing me inside. "then what are you so scared of? Aren't you taking good care of our company and the workers? Or is it that you don't believe in yourself?"

I said in a professional way as my one eyebrow raised up. I'm also getting worried about our company and the loss. He gulped and stare at me blankly as if I asked him about his maths results.

"I'm not scared Novah. It's just that I love our company and employees so much that I'm actually worried and nervous to face him. Owen decided to make a deal with him. And to be honest I don't think it's a good time for us to collaborate with him especially when we are lacking assets." Ian looks so worried. I held his hands and grip on it.

"Don't worry. Did you guys talk about this with Papa?" I tried to comfort him, he just nodded. I became thoughtful like of course if I was in Ian's shoes I would get worried too. But who is the businessman?

I was getting more curious about this guy so I casually asked, "What's his name!? Who is he!?". "he is called a heartless businessman in The Whole market. He doesn't show a bit of mercy towards anyone. What he wants he gets! Either way, if he needs to force it to get. He has a great sense of business. He almost got a good amount of knowledge about every type of business. Especially about fashion. Gucci is his everything. Head to toe everything is Gucci. His name is Erwin Rodriguez." Ian says as his expression turns very serious.

Erwin Rodriguez....interesting.

I was hearing the news and reports about the famous businessman on my car's radio. "so the famous businessman Erwin Rodriguez just announced the new collaboration with BDM company. He even got a lot of profits like last time on the share market. What a fine businessman he is?"

A smirk appears on my lips. I grab my phone to check if I got any notifications and surprisingly yes. It is a text message I tap on the screen and read the text which I received from my dear friend.

Shorty,

You are coming to tonight's party right!?

Erwin,

Depends on my work. Why!?

Shorty,

Why do you ask? Seriously, it's about YOUR success party and you are asking why!?

Erwin,

Do I look like I care?

Shorty,

Oh, come on stop showing me your arrogant attitude towards me. I don't care you're coming and I'll be there at your house picking you up. That's it.

I didn't reply to his message but seen. I know he'll surely come and force me to come with him. This shorty never gets tired!!! "Sir!!" I snap out from my thoughts and look in front and stare at my driver and bodyguard. "Sir we are here." My driver said.

I nodded and look outside the car window. The window is so blurry and water was dripping from the window slowly. A small smile plasters on my lips, "it's raining outside." My driver reply's to me staring through the looking glass, "yes sir. Please be careful and don't get wet sir."

I smiled at him and nodded. My bodyguard got out with an umbrella in his hand. I grabbed my phone and waited for my bodyguard to open the door for me. As soon as the bodyguard opened the door I got out of the car and stand under the umbrella.

Again those irritating flashes, clicking annoying noises. Irritating unnecessary questions and pushings. Those stupid reporters and their annoying faces. It's raining but still, they need a fuss to present on the TV. All of them gather in front of me struggling with each other.

One of the reporters starts to ask me his side of questions, "sir how are you feeling after getting a good success on your previous deal?" Before I could say anything another reporter asks, "sir what is your next plan for the next project?" I sighed and waited for more stupid questions.

Well, I didn't have to wait long another reporter is here, "sir are you planning anything other than your works on the future? About getting married or dating?"

I was standing there while my hands were resting inside my pocket. I heard everyone's questions. I smirk at the last question and look at the reporter, "do you have a better candidate for me to date or get married!?"

Everyone stopped and looked at me confused. The reporter gulped and stared at me blankly. The reporter started to feel nervous and said, "N-no I-"."Can't answer?! then why do you care about my marriage life!?"

He was taken aback. I had a straight face and soon changed my appearance into a cold one. "Move!!" I said. All the reports moved and made a way for me to go inside the building. I moved my feet to walk inside the building.

MR. GHIM:

I'm currently so nervous. My company is currently in a bad state. I'm going to have a short meeting with the best and most famous businessman in this state. I was walking towards the meeting room as cold sweat was all over me.

"Mr. Ghim!!" My CEO appears from nowhere and calls me. "What are you doing!? You can't just sell your own company to someone like him so easily?" He asked. I reply to him being so tensed up, "what do you mean by that!? Do you think I'm that stupid? I won't sell my own company to someone like him in such cheap money."

We entered the meeting room as I saw my other co-workers there already preparing themselves for the meeting. They greet me as well I greet them back too. "But sir you already know about his attitude and the way he works. Nobody likes him for his behavior in the market. Just how can you?" My CEO explains remaining me about him.

"oh god, Mr. James you're the CEO of our company. Why are so scared about him. He's still a kid to understand the business and markets." I tried to convenience him. But he's too stubborn to be convenient, "sir don't underestimate him so easily as if he's a little kid who just joined the business and can't be let down. He can be very dangerous for us—"

Suddenly the door opened and cut our conversation. All of our attention went on the door. A bodyguard and a well-suited man entered the room. We all immediately stand up. The man smilingly greets and introduces himself "Good morning Mr. Ghim. I'm Andrew and the Director of Diamond Fashion. It's very pleasurable to meet you."

He moved his hands towards me for a handshake and I politely accepted it. I tried not to be so nervous. "where is—" but Mr. Andrew cuts my words by saying, "He's already here."

The bodyguard who came inside the room with Mr. Andrew walked towards the door and opened it. And a well-suited and good-looking young man stepped into the room. He had an emotionless expression on his face. And the man is here...most famous and young businessman...
