Blocked Sense

"Why did you burn down the house Austin?" 

Damien stopped him from speaking further and threw questions at him not answering his.

"I clearly instructed for its demolition, not its incineration, did I not?"

Damien turned around seeing Austin stiffened at his place he got his answers already. He leaned against the window looking at Austin who just stared at him expression was hard. Nothing left his mouth to answer him just standing there this time he walked away from him and was about to leave when Damien started to laugh in his hoarse voice making Austin stop on his way but didn't turn to look at him.

"What am I supposed to think from your silence Mr. Rodrigo."

Austin fisted his palm. Seeing him reacting like that Damien laughed in satisfaction. He walked towards him and stood before him. Both of their eyes were firm, emotionless. Why wouldn't be? they both were burning in the same fire. The pain was similar to them. They both craved revenge, they built the same rage in them and both of them knew that too well.

"Do not cross the limit of boundaries like you did last time, involve yourself only for yourself not to torture yourself."

Damien finished and they stood there for a few seconds Damien turned to leave this time Austin interrupt 

"Am I supposed to learn from an insane itself?"

Damien listened smirking not necessarily thinking to reply to him he pushed his hands in his pocket and turned around smiling. No, it was not a smile of joy nor rational. He proceeded past him to retrieve his coat from the chair."

"Insanity taught someone to breathe Austin, just being sane only harm can touch you."

"Insanity can block your senses to think rationally"

"Did you think rationally while burning that house down that too in the rain?"

Damien shut him up completely this time. Knowing where Damien was hitting him. He came closer to Austin and said in his lower tone.

"Rather than looking through my sanity look for Ryan. Do not forget I won't even think twice to kill you if you failed to find him."

He barked to his face. Austin could see the wrath was getting deeper inside him, breaking his sanity to think sanely. He lowered his head and nodded. He knows how he is and whatever he is saying is not just for saying he is capable of doing this. He left from there leaving Austin alone in that cabin.

He walked straight towards the garden where he saw that cat. He wore his coat walking through the hallway. He was aware that all the eyes were gawking at her. It is just a common thing of his regular life.

But his eyes were busy to find a particular pair, Enola's. He spent his entire night thinking of her. No matter how he tried to keep his focus away off her but he failed successfully. But was he complaining? Absolutely not. But the fate of his not one side well that never on his side he scoffed in his mind. 

He eventually reached the garden of that university, where he saw that the cat was still struggling to eat that meat. From how long she was trying to eat that he thought, biting his lips in annoyance he walked towards it and kneeled before him. What shocked him was that the cat was not afraid to see him. She neither tried to run away from there, not even bothered by his presence the cat was still focused on that meat. 

Damien took his time to observe that cat and finally after a good minute it finally gave up on that meat and looked upon to see the devil in human form. He smirked seeing its failure. That gave a sudden kind of pleasure to him. He holds that cat in his grip and stands up. The cat didn't mewl at all not creates any fuss just settled in his hands and dozed off. Maybe too tired to react he thought. He took that cat in his hand and left from there.

Austin was looking at him through the window a few times back Damien was standing. Shock after shock what he was getting right now. Finally giving up on understanding him and left the cabin also.

"What the fuck is wrong with bro, you just left in between the principal's speech. Are you out of your mind? Wanting an another suspension.?"

 Enola was sitting in the cafeteria eating her food where Ruth was busy talking his rubbish. Enola seems to give a fuck to whatever he is saying and was just doing her work.

"Eny do you kind of allergic to that Damien Adler?"

Enola choked on her food, Ruth hurriedly gave her water. She drank in one shot and throw her hands at him.

"What idiot, why did you hit me?"

"As she should" 

Kia came into the picture and sat beside their table interrupting Ruth in his talk.

"And on one invited you to come in between my talk Miss. Spoiled egg."

Kia rolled her eyes, nothing new for her. Ruth again looked towards Enola who was practically staring at him like she was going to kill him at any moment.

"Stop staring at me with that unholy eyes of your Eny. My dignity is at stake."

"Why did you bring his name, I told you to stop Ruth."

"Whose?"

Enola came closer to Ruth not wanting to say his name louder she could not make herself anymore that too when Kia was there and possibly could listen to anything they were saying.

"Who else Damien Adler, don't you dare say that name again before me."

She warned him only making him to laughing harder and Enola kicked herself seeing him like that. Why in the world did she get him as a friend, is he a friend or an enemy?

"Ruthhhh" 

Enola, gritted her teeth, said a bit louder this time, making Ruth to stop but still was choking on his laughter.

"Sorry my godmother but why are getting angry, I just saw an hour back how shamelessly you are drooling over him"

He stated laughing again. Enola held his mouth holding the fork she was eating in his neck 

"Laugh one more time and I will ruin this neck of yours to get any hickeys further."

Ruth joined his two hands and nodded his hand agreeing with whatever she was saying that made Enola leave him and left from there leaving Ruth alone there.

Ruth was still laughing while screaming from behind to stop her but it was late and she left.

"Hmm seems like my Godmother baddy is disturbed with the presence of that special Damien Adler."

He hummed looking at Kia who was sipping her boba tea and was looking at him.

"What?" He asked unbothered

"So how many hickeys you got till now?"

Kia asked straight looking into his eyes. It took some seconds for Ruth to process what she just asked then he smirked and went to sit beside her. Kia was still sipping her tea totally unbothered by his presence.

"That much you will need my fingers to count."

He started making Kia to scoffed 

"Too much confidence Ruth, have you seen your face in the mirror darling."

Kia mocked looking at him and smirked.

"Try yourself to see that Miss. Williams"

Ruth whispered in her ear. This time Kia looked at her smiling. They both were gaping at each other. Who can say that they were Tom and Jerry just a while ago? Kia leaned her face and also whispered 

"You need to work hard to earn that try Mr. Arner."

They were lost in their world both knowing they were just having fun but is it!

"Get a room, guys" 

One of the students who was sitting next to them was trying to eat but only he was hearing conversation that was ruining his appetite for real food. They both heard him and then looked at each other. Kia rolled her eyes also Ruth and looked away from each other, as if nothing just happened between them a while ago.

"Hema I am coming home quickly don't worry, just don't let her go anywhere, I will be there in 30 minutes."

Enola was hurriedly walking towards the entrance of her university. She was in a hurry to go home, she cursed herself for not taking her car today, she could not be late today. 

"Please God keep her waiting a little bit, I had put my entire savings on her. Cannot bear the loss of missing her appointments again."

She murmured herself and was typically running towards the gate. The hallway was clean as everyone was attending their classes. She sprinted at full speed until abruptly colliding with an obstacle as firm as a rock. She fell on the ground for her carelessness. It was too strong to budge herself she thought. Her knee was scratched which caused her pain and she hissed while trying to get up. As per her knowledge, there is no wall in this way she took her eyes upward, and again her soul left her body seeing that someone, who is now ruining her leftover peace her life spared for her.
