Heart's Prince

Princess Linstar D.Grensil was sitting near her father looking at all the gifts each kingdoms were presenting before them and the Princes and Kings who were lined up, looking at her body with lustful eyes. She was already getting way too annoyed to sit there any longer but seeing her shift uncomfortably all the Queen did was placing a strong hand on her shoulder giving it a tight squeeze making he sit back well. This wasn't what she wished for, she only wanted to love and be loved which didn't seem possible until she noticed those dark blue eyes. Before anyone could even understand what was happening she was already vanishing into the thin air.

LEAVING BRIDSTONE FOREVER

I woke up the next morning to the sound of the guards announcing my aunt's presence outside my room. She entered in with a wide smile, on seeing me just awake she motioned the maids to let the window open and walked closer to me "I hope you slept well Lin. It's time for breakfast, get ready and come soon we are all waiting for you." she said patting on my head. Freshening up as soon as possible I hurried to the dining hall only to find my uncle and aunt already there, food served on their plate but waiting for me to begin eating. Quickly sitting I was immediately served food by the maids and we all started to eat, as expected so many dishes on the table and all that I like that's when I noticed how both of them were eating in hurry, the table was quiet other than when the maids were being asked to serve. I assumed there might be something important they had to do when uncle asked me when was I planning to leave. Chewing my food quickly I replied "mostly by today noon or evening, I'm so sorry but I can't stay any longer as you might know the situation back in Grensilas. I need to go back soon even though I don't..." cutting me off he said, "You'll anyway have to leave or stay."

I looked at both of them confused and couldn't exactly understand what he meant to say. He continued "I mean you have to decide what you want". I looked at aunt hoping she do say something but she just kept her head down pretending to be busy eating.

"Uncle, I don't get it."

"Linstar, you know that Danslevia and Ringswold has always been against eachother and we took off our support on Danslevia, we are with Ringswold in this."

"But Grensilas, Bridstone, Tirpous and many others have always sided with Danslevia, what happened now?"

"Danslevia will no longer be under its King, the Crown Prince will soon be taking the throne and a loyal kingdom like Bridstone can't side with someone who conspires to assassinate his own father"

"Prince Torlen Dansle would never, I don't..." before I couldn't complete what I was saying, he stood up "King Chrisinche is in his death bed and the support of Bridstone to Grensilas ends the day my father dies, especially as Lora passed away long back. Now consider this an act of kindness or a favour we would like to do for you Princess. You can stay here in Bridstone palace as my niece and get married to someone in Bridstone or go to Grensilas to your father and forget about everything and everyone in Bridstone. There definitely will be war Lin, whatever you do or try to do but once you leave for Grensilas we do never be there to help you in any possible ways. Grensilas will sink for sure but you must decide if you should or shouldn't be there then."

I was shocked and speechless, standing up my mind went completely blank. There was nothing I could do to save it, Rowenche was known for his unchangeable decision making. No one could convince him and then there was my aunt, the Queen who had a slightest chance for it which from the way she was quiet the whole time was sure to not help. Bowing down to the soon to be King and Queen I turned away, what would have Carli told me if she was here? What would my mother who married father only for the peace of her kingdom want me to do?

When a royal is caught in between a war, its the Crown Prince who beheads them.....could Lis really do that to me? So many questions were on my mind which I honestly didn't even want to think about. I was completely lost, my mind wandering around while I looked out the carriage as we rode out through the huge metallic gates of Bridstone.
