"I started boarding school when I was very young and didn't spend much time here. My mother was often traveling, and during vacations, I mostly stayed with my dad in the military. Ziran and the others stayed here longer, though."

Long Chengyu's tone was very neutral, and there was no discernible emotion in his voice.

"Actually, I think Grandpa seems to care about you quite a bit. Maybe he could even be considered a good grandfather?"

"Don't think too highly of the old man; he feels guilty, that's all. I'm not very clear about the details of his divorce from Grandma, but over the years, he has always felt guilty towards her, and the same goes for Dad and my second uncle."
