"Jamey, please do what Papa says and eat your food." Justin pleaded with his son. Jamey was only two so he could barely understand but still.

Jamey was smart. He could talk, to some degree, eat his food by himself, and play with toys like hot wheels.

The little boy looked up at Justin, doing that giddy little smile that babies always do. Justin sighed, taking the boy out of the chair.

He sat the two-year-old on his hip, walking over to the living room, where Jamey's toys were at. He sat his kid down, fluffing his hair before walking back into the kitchen to clean the mess.

A few minutes later he heard laughing coming from the living room. He walked into the room to find Eugene tickling Jamey.

Neither boy noticing Justin, he leaned on the door frame, watching the two. Eugene looks up at his husband and smiles. "You are perfect, you know that."

Eugene walks over to Justin, Jamey following. He kisses Justin on the forehead smiling, walking into the kitchen.

"What's that smell?" Eugene asks, walking over to the pot on the stove. Justin walks over to him, opening the lid.

"It's just some soup because somebody had a sore throat this morning." He says, pointing to Jamey, who's waddling towards the couple.

"He's been wanting to go to the park all day, but I wanted to wait till you got home to look at him," Justin says quietly, kissing Eugene on the cheek.

Eugene nodded, squatting down near Jamey. He looks at Jamey's face and throat for a second before standing up to look back at Justin.

Eugene working at his Dad's construction company. Though, he's very smart.

"He looks fine to me babe. But you know him better than anybody so, it's your call." Eugene says, watching as Jamey tries to climb the island, in the middle of the kitchen.

Justin grabs him, however, sitting him back down on the ground. He looks at Jamey, disappointed.

"Jamey, last time you tried to climb something, you got a boo-boo. Stop trying to climb, ok?" Justin gently scolded, and the little boy nodded his head.

Jamey reached out his hands to Justin, and he picked him up, letting Jamey rest his head on J's shoulder.

"Baby, you are a perfect Dad," Eugene says impressed. Justin just smiled. "It takes practice babe," Justin says, giving a quick peck on the lips before going back to the soup.

He poured the rest of the soup into a bowl, handing it to Eugene. "Please tell me this isn't some witch spell," Eugene says looking up at Justin.

Justin laughed, shrugging his shoulders. "I guess you have to find out," Justin says, spookily. The couple laughed and Eugene tried the soup.

"This is one of my favorite dishes you made, but how?" He says, taking another sip. "You read one cookbook and become that mean dude from Master Chef," Eugene says while eating.

Justin laughs at his husband. "Chew with your mouth closed silly," Justin says as he could feel Jamey playing with the collar of his shirt.

Eugene rolled his eyes, walking over to the sink to wash the dishes he made. "Hey, J. How about I go to the park with you, ok?" He says, smiling at his family.

Justin nodded, setting down Jamey. "Jamey, let's go get you washed up to go to the park!" Justin says, letting Jamey take his hand.

Later That Day

As Justin washed Jamey's hair in the tub, he heard the door slam shut. Confused, Justin let Jamey play in the tub so he could investigate.

When Justin got downstairs, everything seemed normal, besides the fact that Eugene left. He walked into the kitchen, looking in the drawer near the fridge.

He looked for the emergency card that Eugene and Justin got. It had about $500 on it. Though it was gone.

Justin looked in the living room for his or Eugene's wallets, but he couldn't find either.

"Papa! Come help me!" Jamey yelled from upstairs. He wasn't in distress, just wanted someone to play with him. Justin stopped what he was doing, and walked back upstairs to help his son.

While he was washing Jamey's hair, however, he kept calling Eugene. But to no avail, he wasn't answering. He sighed, deciding to call the one person he could.

"Hey, Aunt Angelica. Eugene isn't answering his cell, so I was wondering if you could take Jamey, just for tonight." Justin says, draining the water out of the tub.

"Yes of course, Did he already eat?" Angelica asked as Justin dried his son off, and put some small boxers on him.

"Uh, yeah. I just washed him up, so he should be tired in a few hours." Justin says, cleaning up the bathroom before walking Jamey to his room.

"Ok, did something happen with Eugene, is he alright?" Angelica asks as Justin hands Jamey some night.

clothes. Jamey looks back at Justin, sadly.

"We can't go to the park today Jamey. Maybe tomorrow." Justin said as Jamey nodded sadly. "Ok, Papa. where Daddy?" He asks, putting on his shirt, backward.

Justin helps him dress, not answering the question. Though Jamey was persistent.

"I want Daddy, I want Daddy!" Jamey yelled as Justin gave him matching pants. "Jamey, please be quiet. I want Daddy too but you need to calm down." Justin says, giving Jamey his slippers.

"Sorry Aunt Angelica, what were you saying?" Justin sighed as Jamey jumped off the bed to walk next to him.

"Nothing, I'll talk to you when you get here. Though can I talk to the big guy?" Angelica said, referring to Jamey.

"Um, yeah hold on. Jamey, sit right here and talk to Grandma while I get the car seat." Justin says pointing to the couch.

Jamey was reached out for Justin's phone, which he gave to the little boy. "Hi, Grandma!" Jamey says, excited to talk to his Granny.

"Hey, my little Hulk, what's up?" Angelica asks. That was his nickname, Hulk. "Am I going to your house today?" He asks innocently.

Justin walked past Jamey, grabbing Jamey's sippy cup.

Jamey watching everything. "Yeah, you get to hang out with your Granny!"

Aunt Angelica said, trying to get the two years old excited. Though the young boy had other plans.

"Where's Daddy?" Jamey asked his Grand-ma. "Jamey, your father is looking for him right now." Aunt Angelica says as Justin grabs the phone from Jamey.

"Hey Angelica, come on Jamey." Justin says as Jamey walks up to Justin, holding his empty hand. His other one had a to-go bag for Jamey and his cell.

"Angelica, we are on our way, see you when we get there," Justin says, hanging up the phone.

Later That Night

"Angelica, I don't know. I don't think I did anything. He just stormed out." Justin said, holding a mug of tea. Angelica nodded, sitting across from him on the couch.

"Maybe he was talking to his job, based on your descriptions, he doesn't seem to have the accepting parents," Angelica says taking a sip of her tea.

Both adults heard small steps going down the staircase. Turning around was a little Jamey looking at his Grandma. "Can I have a cookie?" Jamey asks sleepily.

Justin smiled at the cuteness, looking back at Angelica as she stands to her feet. "Of course, Justin, you should go back home. Or try to find him." Angelica said, before walking into the kitchen.

Justin nodded, walking up to his son. He crouched down to Jamey's height, looking at him in the eyes.

"Jamey, be good while I'm gone, ok? I'm only going to be gone for the night." Justin says, kissing his son goodbye.

"I'm gone, Angelica!" Justin says into the kitchen before, opening the door. He got into his car, to drive back home.

When he entered the driveway he noticed Eugene's car in the driveway. He excitedly walked up to the door, unlocking it, and opening.

When he walked in, Eugene looked up at him. Anger soared through Eugene, as he stormed up to his husband.

"You ruined everything. If it wasn't for you, I would have a wife and a kid. A real kid, and a job!" He yelled, right into his face.

Justin took a few steps back until he was to the wall, though Eugene cornered him. Eugene punched him in the stomach, making Justin fall to the floor.

He groaned in pain as Eugene kicked, once, twice. Until blood covered his shoe and Justin was coughing up blood.

"S-stop." Justin cried weakly as Eugene grabbed Justin's neck, choking him. He lifted Justin, slamming him into the wall. "P-please," Justin said forcing himself to breathe.

Justin coughed up blood as Eugene kneed him in the stomach. "You ruined my life you selfish whore! Just wanted to see me fall, huh! Well, no fucking more!!" Eugene said, throwing Justin's broken body onto the floor.

Justin sat there, wheezing, coughing, and crying. Blood pooled from his nose, and he could tell that he probably needed medical help.

But he knew he wouldn't be able to tell anyone this. Because even though he was half dead,

He still loved the killer.

Present

"Get away Eugene!" Justin said, half pleading grabbedddddeddJustin's neck, harsher than ever before. "Never yell at me again whore." He said, his voice laced with venom.

Justin shivered as he heard the door bang open. "Get away from Papa, Dad!" Jamey said, pushing Eugene away from Justin.

Justin, shocked by Jamey's bravery, pulled Jamey out of the room and down the stairs. Justin turned around to look at Jamey.

"I want you to go into the laundry room a-" "Papa, behind you!" Jamey said, but before Justin could turn around, Eugene, hits Justin to the ground.

"No! Stop it, Don't hurt him!" Jamey yelled, hitting Eugene in the stomach, but Jamey was only 6 so he didn't pack a punch.

Eugene easily pushed Jamey away, making Jamey hit his head on the ground, making him fall onto some broken glass, cutting his cheek.

"NO!!!!!!!! JAMEY!!!" Justin yelled trying to stand back up to look at his son. Though he was turned around by Eugene. Justin looked up at him with tears in his eyes.

"That was your son!!! What have you done!" Justin yelled angrily. Eugene slapped

Justin on the face, grabbing his already bruised neck, slamming him on the ground. He kicked Justin, harder and harder with each movement. Justin groaned, choking on his blood.
