CHAPTER FOURTEEN (SAMUEL OYEWOLE)

"If I heard your words right, the boss is a he and is already here in that office." Tinuke said and suddenly screamed into the book she picked up.

"Gosh, girl relax. This boss is one very handsome hottie and his smile is like that of angels from heaven." She said with a cute smile and blinked.

"Really?" Tinuke asked suddenly interested in the praises Adebisi was raining on their new boss.

"Yes, girl I was dumbstruck when I saw him. He is so hot, so yummy. I just wanted to eat him."

"When she says this things, it sounds disgusting." I said to myself looking at how Adebisi was busy describing this man.

If she says such wonderful things about him then it means he is very good and I should not be worried.

Leaving Adebisi to continue her descriptive essay, I made my way to the MD's office.

"Oh, oh my. I forgot to tell you guys that the new boss asked everyone to meet him in his office." Adebisi said after a while, the others looked at themselves in shocked and got up, with a rush, they ran quickly to the MD's office leaving her alone.

Adebisi can be quite forgetful as she is a busybody and the information minister. When she used to work with the old boss, she would leave her desk and roam around the office giving her colleagues gist, the only person's gist she never shared with others was that of Tinuke and that is why they are friends.

The young man sat down calmly on his large black leather chair imported from Germany with his leg crossed and scrolling through his phone.

He was so engrossed in what he was doing on his phone that he didn't hear the constant knocking on his door.

He only jumped up in a fright and almost threw down his phone when he suddenly heard a loud scream.

"No, it can't be him." The same person who screamed said while crying.

Miss I know pass everybody! The young man called with his mouth opened.

Sam!!! Tinuke called in a tone that sounded more like a demon roaring.

"Point of correction, I am Mr Samuel Oyewole the new managing director of this prestigious company." Sam introduced himself with a smile. He was happy to see the defeated look on the face of his worst enemy.

"Oh okay, you caught me. Yeah this is where I work, can you leave now?" Tinuke asked still trying not to believe his words.

"You think I am joking? This is my company." Sam said getting a bit upset that she didn't believe him.

"How can you lie so easily. Well I shouldn't be shocked because you can do worst than lie."

"Heyssss, watch your language. Don't ever call me a liar or else I will have you sacked right away." Sam said, snapping his finger at her.

"Ahhh, I guess you like getting into scuffles with me. I know once I pretend not to notice you, then you will leave." I said to him and the others suddenly rushed in.

The ladies and even some men were thrown aback by his charisma and sofisticated looks. He was indeed what Adebisi described.

"Good, good, good morning sir." Many of them stammered while greeting him still captivated by his smooth looks.

"I am glad you are all here." He addressed them while standing, he also tucked his hands in his pocket as he spoke.

"Only a true boss can do that." Wispered one of the staff to another by her side.

Sam smiled as he heard this, he was glad he was already making his stand before them and so he continued talking.

"Your old boss will like to have a video call with all of you to explain to you why he left so suddenly and if I am truly your new boss or just an imposter as some people think." He was starring at Tinuke.

He brought out his laptop that had already been unpacked by the people who came to arrange his office.

Tinuke remembered that laptop well, he always had it with him whenever she saw him outside his door acting like he is doing something important.

Mr Luis appeared on the screen a while later, he was in a pink short and a young white lady was by his side, she could almost be mistaken for his daughter until he said to her.

"Baby go inside and wait for me." And she replied. "Okay honey, I will be waiting. Be quick." And went away in her G-string bikini.

"So this was the wife he wanted to have a swim race with." I said to myself with a sigh.

"Hello, my dear faithful and always loyal workers." He greeted showing his excessively brown teeths.

They all returned the greeting and folded their arms together waiting for his unwanted explaination.

"I am so sorry for leaving unannounced but I do have my reason for it and that reason is that I have finally found the heart of my heart, the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh. In short, my soulmate."

They all chuckled softly at what he said, it was funny hearing the word soulmate from the mouth of a bonafide womanizer.

"I wonder how many ladies here in this office he must have called the same thing." I wispered to myself, laughing inwardly at the fools who could have fallen for his words.

"Anyways, I have sold the company to my best friend, Mr Teju who paid a very good amount for it. But Mr Teju won't be running the company, he has put his nephew a young and vibrant man in charge to handle the company on his behalf. The name of that young man is Samuel Oyewole."
