Can't wait to see you

Summer sat at her desk in her father's company, her mind still reeling from Xavier's confession the day before. She couldn't believe that he had feelings for her and that they had shared such a wonderful kiss. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before, and it left her feeling a little giddy.

But as she looked around her father's company, Summer couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed. She had been away for a few days, and she hadn't checked her emails or responded to any messages. Her to-do list was piling up, and she knew that she had to get back to work.

Just then, her father walked into her office. "Summer, I'm glad to see that you're back," he said, smiling at her.

Summer smiled back, but she could tell that her father was a bit concerned. He had always been a workaholic, and he had instilled that same work ethic in his daughter. But Summer couldn't help but feel like she had more important things on her mind.

"Is everything okay?" her father asked, noticing her distracted expression.

Summer hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should tell him about Xavier's confession. But then she remembered that she lied to her parents that she and Xavier were in love before they got married, she then decided to zip her mouth shut. "Yeah, everything's fine," she said, forcing a smile.

Her father nodded, but he didn't look convinced. "Well, I'm glad to hear it. However, we have a lot of work to do, and I need you to focus on the tasks at hand; we would discuss later about the CEO position." her Dad said, smiling.

Summer nodded, feeling a bit guilty. She knew that she had to get back to work, but it was hard to focus when her mind was still on Xavier.

As the day wore on, Summer found herself getting more and more frustrated. She couldn't concentrate on her work, and she kept finding herself daydreaming about Xavier. "I miss Xavier so much, maybe I shouldn't have resumed work". She said to herself!

Finally, at the end of the day, Summer packed up her things and headed for the door, she couldn't wait to see Xavier. But just as she was about to leave, Xavier walked in.

"Hey, sweetie," he said, smiling at her.

"Hey, my love," Summer said, feeling her heart race.

Xavier stepped closer to her, his eyes searching hers. "Listen, about yesterday… I just wanted to make sure that everything's okay."

Summer hesitated for a moment, but then she took a deep breath and spoke. "Xavier, I have to tell you something. I've been thinking about you non-stop since yesterday. I can't get you out of my head."

Xavier's smile widened, and he took a step closer to her. "Me too, Summer. I can't stop thinking about you, either."

And with that, they shared another kiss, this one even more intense than the first. Summer felt her worries and her stress melt away as Xavier's lips pressed against hers, and she knew that she had found something truly special." Let's go home, she said, smiling "
