Waking up, it was past eleven o'clock.
Wen Changling pulled back the curtains, sat up to fully wake up, and after about five minutes, she got out of bed with a blanket wrapped around her.
As she opened the door, she saw Xie Shang in the courtyard. She greeted him with a "good morning," then quickly returned to her room to change clothes before heading out to brush her teeth at the outdoor faucet.
The bedding that had been soaked by last night's rain was hanging out to dry in the yard.
The weather forecast was off; there was no heavy rain today, just a windy overcast day. Perhaps the clouds had cried out all their tears last night, leaving no rain behind.
After washing up, Wen Changling sat next to Xie Shang.
"Where's grandma?"
A solid wood side table stood beside the bamboo bed, with Xie Shang's laptop placed on it, and Huahua comfortably sprawled nearby.
"She's gone to Miss Wu's place."
