CHAPTER FOUR :THE PLAN

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I'm sorry for the late post I've been busy with my exams, but from now on i will try posting earlier and more pages.

Lily, was standing there with two servant at her back, one of the maid held two large serving of cake🥧🍰and the other with two medium sized bowl of ice cream🍧🍧.

"Come inside" Lily beckoned on the maid to come inside but seeing the table was filled with paper works📑📑, she had to beg the maids' to help her clear the table"pls help me clear the table and then place it on the table.

The maids did as they were told and then left the study. "Daddy, come over and have a look, i decided bring more quantity for me and you to eat because i suspected you will be hungry".

Robert rubbed his temples again and then looked at lily was telling him to sit, so he then sat down. "Lily i'm not hungry"

"But the food already here and wasting food is not good so you just have to manage and eat it"

"Okay"

After a while "Daddy isn't it delicious? " Lily asked after seeing him take a spoon of the ice cream and that of cake.

"Hmm" Robert gave a short response. " Do you want a mommy".

"Daddy, we can manage without a mummy, don't worry i will take care of the both of us" Lily said with a tight smile and continued eating, as she thought 'i really want a mother, how i wish i can have one".

Robert was surprised at what his daughter's maturity, sometimes he seriously doubt her age cause she behaves far far mature than her mates.

"Daddy, i really want to know about the plan you talked about with grand ma harriet".

" Do you really want to know? "Robert asked her as he thought it will be a good thing to add his daughter to his plan.

Lily's eyes lit up at the question her father asked " yes i really want to know".

"I'm trying to get your mommy for you".

The light in her eyes dimmed as she heard what her daddy said as she thought her daddy was talking about aunty stephanie who liked to act sweet in front of her grandma and trying to get close to her daddy.

Knowing what she thought about he corrected "No sweat heart, i'm talking about your actual mommy, the one that gave birth to you".

She looked up with joy in her eyes " Seriously, my real mommy?. She was excited because her daddy never talked about her mommy before.

"Yes your real mommy, but you would have to help me with the plan, okay".

Lily nodded her head with a serious expression on her cute face " Of course i would help, but you have to tell me the plan".

Robert told her the plan and she was so excited and was anticipating for that day to come.

Robert's eyes fell on the cute little lilly who was sleeping on a book📘 she was reading while waiting for him, it consisted of pictures and little words since she could not read well.

This was where he actually believed her age.

He carried her in his arm and left his study room, when grandma harriet saw him with lily in his hand, she volunteered to take lily to her (lily) room this night.

He laid her on his king sized bed and then covered her with a quilt and then entered the bathroom to go and freshen up before he goes to bed.

Under the shower 🚿 he prayed that he will be successful in this his mission.

He came out of the bathroom with a towel tied around his waist and then walked into his massive walk in closet.

He took out his black pyjamas, wore it and then got into the bed 🛏️ and then drifted to sleep.

Beep, beep, beep, beep."hrrrm" Amy groaned before she shut the alarm clock up, and then she remembered that she's starting her new job today.

The sleep in her eyes immediately vanished, she was so excited, she put on her baggy shirt and jeans pants and sandals before leaving the house with her bag👜.

"Daddy, daddy wake up it's time to go to work".

"Is it time yet?" Robert asked Lily after waking up.

Lily looked at the clock with her innocent face and then looked back at robert "I don't know"Lily said opening her two hand in front of her looking confused.

"but I think it's time for work and since the clock refused to wake you up, I decided to be a good girl and wake Daddy" Lily said happily while expecting her father to praise her.

"You are such a sweet girl" Robert praised her, she was so happy that she jumped up and down and her pony tail jumped along with her.

"Lily are you going any where today? Cause today is not school".

" Yes i know, but i'm following you to work, i want to help you work".

Robert looked at the clothes she was putting on and realized that it was a red business suit and the suit pants looked so nice on her with her cute little heels👠.
