08:00 AM, New York City.
The sound of birds chirping as if singing disturbed the calmness of Marsha who was sleeping. The woman blinked a few times, until finally she could see perfectly. Her mouth was wide open which Marsha immediately covered with her palm. She nodded slightly, then looked around slightly blurry. Her eyes felt very difficult to open, as if someone had put glue on her eyelids. Even though it was difficult, Marsha still tried to open her eyes wide. Marsha is still not fully aware and she also doesn't know where she is at this moment.
"Hospital hallway?" Marsha mumbled when she could see her surroundings.
Did she fall asleep sitting in the corridor waiting room all night?
Why didn't anyone wake her up?
