chapter 32;Be patience, its just a scare..

Samra p.o.v

After Sophia left,Brian excused himself and I stayed back with yunus was yawning alot I guess he was tired, he left me sitting on the couch and walked towards his mom's bed who was still sleeping.

He shook her and asked her to wake up because he was hungry, I stood up and walked behind him to stop him from waking her up.

"Yunus I don't think mom is going to wake up now so how about I take you to get something to eat" I said as I held his hand.

He nodded and we both left to go to the cafeteria,  as we were walking, i looked outside and was Sophia sitting with Brian.

I looked at them as they talked then Sophia left, yunus pulled my hand and i smiled at him and went to the cafeteria.

I ordered some food and watched him eat fries with burger and mango juice, I ate some too as I didn't have time to eat  the whole day.

After we ate, i took yunus back to the room where Brian was sitting by the bed holding his mom's hand.

Yunus ran to him and told him that he had a heavy meal and wanted to bring something for his mom but she hasn't woken up yet.

"Don't worry about mom am sure she'll have some food as soon as she wakes up" he said as he sat him on his lap.

Though I wanted to stay for the night, I couldn't because it was part of the hospital's rule that only a relative can stay.

"Am leaving now and I hope your mom gets well soon" I said as he put yunus to sleep and he walked me out of the hospital.

My driver was already waiting in the car and Brian helped me get in. He waved at me as the driver started the car.

I wanted to ask him what he was talking about to Sophia but I didn't want to sound jealous or envy and besides we were all getting along.

As I reached home, Anders opened the door for me and I greeted him as I walked to my room.

I apologized for making the house messy knowing I was partly blamed for throwing party on weekends, even though it should have been a study session.

Mom is usually busy and comes home whenever she wants to, but I didn't think it was right thing to do that.

"Don't worry, I wont mention it yo your mom unless she has security cameras hidden somewhere" he said smiling at me.

Anders is usually a strict butler and does things he is told but between us he's fun and caring person that's easy to socialize with.

The house looked clean as always and I went straight to my room after telling him that I wasn't hungry.

As I entered my room, I took of my shoes and hijab, did my night routine and went to bed.

I was so worried about martha after having an argument in the hospital, I kept looking at my phone hoping to get a text or call from her.

We usually have small argument and then apologise to each other but what happened today I highly doubt she'll talk to me again.

I know that she was scared to the core after her boyfriend's mom threatened to sue her even though it wasn't her fault.

But it didn't mean that she could use my mom's name to get away from the problem she had caused.

I knew it was wrong of me to refuse to help her but it wasn't her fault that her boyfriend caused them both into accident so I did what I think was right.

I called mom but unfortunately her assistant answered it and I told her to give a message to her after telling her that she accepted and cut the call.

Mom usually sends her assistant to help me whenever I wanted to talk to her but this time I wanted her help and I hoped that Martha would be safe.

The next day I went to class as usual, it would be me and Martha but she didn't come to class.

I sat next to Sophia and another girl whom I didn't pay attention to because my mind was focused on Martha as she didn't come to the morning lectures.

By the end of the class the three of us came out together and that's when I noticed the girl still with us, that's when I asked about her and Sophia introduced her and she did the same with her and we both shook hands.

We then went for lunch which was a choice, for second semester one could leave the campus and have lunch outside but since I was eager to see Martha we went to the cafeteria.

As we served ourselves, I noticed Sophia's tray full of food and both maria and I stared at her.

She became defensive and said that she was a foodie and not judged her, none of us said anything and I barely touched my food as I was busy texting Martha.

I felt someone tapping my shoulder and I looked at Sophia who was pointing at the entrance where I saw Martha coming in, she walked towards us and asked if we could talk.

I immediately stood up and we both left the cafeteria and went to the garden where some students were either studying, lying on the ground to take a nap or just sitting in a group as they ate food.

We came to a private place and sat on the bench, martha was quite for a while and then took a deep breath.

"Sorry for yelling at you yesterday" she said as she looked at me.

"Me too, I shouldn't have become judgemental and made you to accept your mistake and overreacted when you asked me to talk to my mom for you" I said as I sat closer to her.

"I know  what you meant when you said that I should take responsibility for my actions, I knew that I was doing something wrong but I wanted to feel what's like to break a rule" she said as she wiped her tears.

"Martha what's wrong, you seem like you've been crying nonstop " I said as I realized how puffy her eyes were.

She was wearing her black sunglass which she normally wears to look cool I didn't notice her eyes were that bad.

"You're right, the thing is that his mom made me break up with him if I wanted to save myself and I did" she said as she cried and I pulled her for a hug.

"W..what that's not fair and besides it not like you caused the accident it was his fault and that's so cruel of her how could she?" I asked as I pat her back gently.

Martha cried and I didn't know how to help her, after she cried she laid her head on my lap and I let her sleep.

After an hour, my phone rang and i looked at the caller, it was Brian. As I answered it he sounded like he's scared and cried out.

"Brian? Brian what's wrong? What happened?" I asked as I stood up from the bench forgetting that Martha was laying on my lap.

She stood up and I kept asking him what was wrong but he didn't answer. I cut the call and I kept calling but it went to a voicemail.

Martha was behind me as she walked towards me and I kept on calling his phone. I got out of the campus and I felt someone pulling me back.

"WHAT THE HE**!" I yelled at the person who pulled me and realized it was Martha who raised her eyes at me and pointed at the bike that almost ran over me.

"What were you doing looking at your phone without looking at the road?" She asked as she was still holding my hand.

"Sorry I was busy calling Brian that I didn't even notice where I was going " I said as I walked towards my car.

"Are you going to see Brian?" She asked as she followed me inside the car.

"Where else would I go?" I asked as I felt anger burning my heart as the call kept going to voicemail.

"You need to relax and besides how do you expect someone to answer now when they're not even thinking clearly?" She asked as the driver drove is to the hospital.

By the time we reached there,I wanted to ask the receptionist about Brian's mom when saw Sophia coming towards us looking worried.

"Hey thank God you're here have you heard anything yet and I was about to call you" she said as she showed me her phone.

"And why are you even here? Shouldn't you be in class and besides samra is here so leave" martha said as she pointed at the entrance.

"What's your problem with me besides it was Brian who called me here if he doesn't want me here then I'll leave in the meantime I'll be staying" Sophia snapped at her.

I didn't know why they seem mad at each other, but I guess they can't be together after what happened last semester.

It seemed like they were holding grudge against each other but Sophia was right if Brian wanted her here then it was his call.

"Sophia is right and for once can you guys act like grown ups we're here for Brian and not you two" I said as I stood between them.

"I know am grown up and I don't want to cause a fight so let's get over what happened in the past remains past agreed?" She asked as she looked at Martha.

Martha nodded and we walked together to the room where Brian's mom was.

As soon as he saw me he hugged me tight and I couldn't help but to hug him at this moment, he cried and I felt my tears coming.

"Her life is in danger, I don't want her to die please don't let it happen" he said as he hugged me even tighter.

"She's going to be fine, please be patient" I held him hoping that its nothing but just a bad dream.....
