Brian p.o.v

I know that am to be blamed for being clumsy and causing myself trouble, losing my temper like that shouldn't be an excuse to hurt someone who cares.

Sophia spent her day looking for me and I ended up lashing at her for causing me have trouble with my practice when am to be blamed for getting myself hurt,I guess I was looking for someone to blame.

Once I got mad and turned around because I held myself from yelling loudly, she had already left my house and I couldn't go after her because I couldn't walk out of the house.

Mom came back with drinks but she didn't see Sophia with me so she looked at the open door and probably realized that she already left.

"Where did your friend go?" Mom asked as she placed the tray on the table.

"She left mom, she had something to do" I said hiding the fact that that I scared her away.

"Did something happen between you two?" She asked curiously.

"Nothing happened mom,she left and besides am hungry what's for dinner?" I asked changing the subject.

"Alright fine, i can see that you don't want to talk about her,did you have a fight or something?" She continued asking.

"Mooooommmmm,stoopppp will you?" I whined.

" besides she looks beautiful and decent you should ask her out" my brother intervene.

"And what makes you think like that?" I asked him.

"With the way she dressed she surely is a nerd and rich am I right?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows at me.

"You do know that I study in one of the most richest university in the city right?" I asked.

"I know that Brian, question though why did she leave in a hurry ? Did you break up with her or something?" He continued asking and I wasn't having any of it.

"First of all we didn't break up and i happen to talk to her harshly and was hurt by my words that's all why am I even explaining myself to you huh!?" I asked looked glaring at him.

"You could ignore it if you didn't want to answer my questions "he said as he took a sip of his juice.

"True and maybe next time I'll keep that in mind " I said as took a remote to change the channels.

Few weeks later

It's  been weeks since I took leave from school and I was finally going back to school but unfortunately I wont be playing basketball this season.

As usual I would be joining the team in practice and all and same for samra she and her squad would practice cheerleading for hours.

A time came when we all stopped practicing and watched the cheerleaders do their dance and everyone in the room seemed to enjoy it.

After the dance i walked to samra and we both stood there staring at each other until we heard our teammates calling us.

One morning as i was preparing myself for class Sophia came to me and sat at the same desk, I didn't know how to talk to her properly so I chose to ignore her and concentrate in class.

When she suddenly pushed a note next to me, I opened it and saw what she wrote, it didn't matter what she wanted to say so I just ignored her and continued listening to the teacher.

I know that she's trying hard to be friends with me but I don't understand is why she keeps on mentioning samra and says that she will hurt me in the end.

In order to see whether she's lying or not I decided to see things the way I want them to be.

So I decided to ask samra out and luckily she accepted it and soon I will be spending time with her and I can't wait to see how things will be between us.

On the other hand Sophia seems to be minding her own business and one thing led to another,three of us together with Martha who is also samra's friend we were given project and we hd to do it together.

Even though i was against it in my mind I didn't want to cause problem in the group so I let it slide, I don't know what will come out of this but I surely hope no one ends up getting hurt.

That weekend, Sophia, Martha and I came to samra's house, she welcome us and gave us a tour of her house. It had a nice view and we all spent the day at the pool, I was swimming in the pool while the others were sitting on the bench having drinks.

"So do you have siblings?" I asked as I got out of the pool.

"No I don't am the only child and have always been" samra said as she took a sip of the mango juice.

"You must be enjoying all this luxury alley yourself then" martha added.

"Yeah of course since am always by myself and my mom is always busy working and travelling I guess am destined to have all to myself " samra said proudly.

After having fun we all went to the living room to start working, as i was busy doing research on my laptop, the girls were nowhere to be seen, so I continued searching when Martha and Sophia joined me.

"Where have you guys been?" I asked as I was still looking at the laptop.

"We were looking for books on technology when I accidentally fell on her " Sophia said pointing at martha who had an ice pack on her forehead.

"Woah!that's big, are you feeling alright?" I asked as she showed me the bruise on her head.

Samra came running with a kit and helped Martha apply ointment on her head. Martha laid on the sofa while the rest of us spread all the room, I had my laptop on the desk writing notes and so as the rest.

We had take out with pizza and drinks while working hard on the project. I didn't know how long I was working until I passed out on the table.

Only to be woken up by someone shaking my shoulders lightly, I opened my eyes and saw someone staring down at me smiling it was none other than samra.

"Hey you should get some sleep in the guest room,you will get back pain if you sleep like this" she said as I sat up straight.

She told me to sleep in one of the guest rooms as the rest were already sleeping on the couch.

One thing for sure I was glad that I had spent the day with her even though it wasn't only us alone. Hopefully to get alone time with her one day without having others join us...
