Successfully Logging In

This news left Su Jian stunned. It turned out that on that day, Su Yinian had come over to tell her that he was going to divorce. "Su Jian, are you okay?" Yao Qin asked with concern.

Su Jian smiled lightly and shook her head. "Mom, I have no idea why he would suddenly want a divorce. I only know that whatever he does no longer concerns me."

"Really?" Yao Qin looked skeptical.

"It's true!" Su Jian forced a smile. In spite of herself, the stiff smile betrayed the turmoil in her heart.

Yao Qin gazed at Su Jian for a long moment. She couldn't bear to push her further and could only sigh. "Alright, we have to look forward. Jin Pingchuan is a good man. You will have a good life with him."

"Yes," Su Jian agreed with a nod.

"Oh, Su Xingyuan still doesn't know about your marriage, right?"

"Yes, I haven't had a chance to tell him yet."

"Jin Pingchuan will be back this week. You can introduce him to Su Xingyuan. If I'm not around in the future, you and Jin Pingchuan will be his only family."

Su Jian absentmindedly uttered something in reply.

Yao Qin glanced at her. She was even more worried than ever. She sensed that Su Jian's marriage with Jin Pingchuan was already hanging by a thread. Jin Pingchuan did not simply view Su Yinian as a love rival. Su Yinian had claimed most beautiful years of Su Jian's youth and all her love. If Su Yinian went through with the divorce and made up his mind to win Su Jian back, Yao Qin could not see this matter resolving peacefully.

During dinner time, Su Xingyuan showed up at the hospital. Yao Qin immediately started scolding him. Su Xingyuan obediently endured it. He put on his best behavior in front of Yao Qin. This was no consolation for the future. If Yao Qin was not around, who would be able to control him?

Su Jian couldn't fall asleep that night. She stood on the hospital balcony and looked down at the city lights below. She logged into her Facebook account while lost in thought. She had two Facebook accounts. Su Yinian had one made ten years ago when they were a couple. Her favorite past time back then was chatting with Sue Yinian on Facebook at night. After Su Yinian got married, Su Jian never logged into that account again. Yao Qin had forced her to give it up, against her wishes. Su Jian eventually created a new Facebook account to remain in the loop.

Eventually, the old account remained unused for so long that the system deactivated it. Later on, a third party gained access to the account for their illicit activities. Su Jian's finger unconsciously tapped on the picture of her old account. Due to lingering attachments, Su Jian had added her old account as a friend when she created the new account. Over the years, it had remained grayed out and stored in her address book. Even its name was changed. But today, she was surprised to find that the account had reverted to her original name.

Su Jian stared at it. Her fingers trembled. Her mind was in chaos. One drunken night a few years ago, she had tried to log into this old account but failed. It then belonged to someone else. But now, the username had been changed back. What did this mean?

Su Jian was almost in a trance as she logged out of her current account and logged into her old account. She didn't know what had possessed her. When she entered her original password, she got in.

Su Jian was stunned. Only she and Su Yinian knew the password. The only plausible explanation was that the account was now in Su Yinian's hands.

Tears welled up in Su Jian's eyes.

At that moment, a profile picture flashed. The only friend in the account sent a message: "Su Jian, I've been waiting for you."

Su Jian looked at that friend's name. Tears streamed down her face. It was Su Yinian. All these years, he had been using her old account!

Su Jian covered her mouth. Her vision was blurring. Memories from the past flooded her mind once again. They were so deeply in love back then. The deeper you loved, the deeper it hurt! He was the one who introduced her to love, but he was also the one who broke her heart.

Su Jian could never understand why Su Yinian gave up on their relationship and chose another woman. She was just only getting over the pain. Why would he approach her right now with such hateful, false hope? It was long over. Why couldn't he understand that?
