Chapter 11

Christabel's pov

"Are you a girl?" He blurted.

"And I want you to prove that to me."

"Umm....hmm" I scratched my head so hard.

I just didn't know what to say. He caught me.

How?

"Prove to me that you're not a girl." He moved towards me.

I kept blinking my eyes, as I moved back till it touched the wall.

He caged me with his hands and pouted.

"I caught you" He smiled and removed the strands of hair from my face.

"How...did you..know?" I stuttered.

"You were drunk yesterday and you said something sweet that night. I still don't know how i got to remember but I still did."

"So, you're a girl all this while?" He leaned in. "You're Christabel!"

"Yes...yes. But please don't tell anyone. I might get kicked out of here." I clasped my hands together, pleading.

"What's your mission in this boy's school?" He tilted his head.

"I...I..don't have to tell you. You get to know by yourself. " I answered.

"Hmm...okay."

"Nice meeting the bad ass girl again." He stretched his hand forward for an handshake.

"You remember the day you slapped me cause I spilled something on you." I frowned.

"Your cheek really looks soft."

I smiled and tried to walk to my room but he stopped me.

"I still find you attractive even when I didn't know you're a girl." He trailed his fingers down to my neck then up to my lips.

I gulped nervously. "Once a lady enters my room or territory. She should get ready for the worst."

"Worst?"

"What worst? Please don't try to report me or show me to the students. My identity must be kept a secret between you and me, my prince."

"I have my reason for coming here." I added.

"And what's the reason?"

"I can't tell you." I replied.

I Can't tell him I'm here to guard or something. Aissh! He knows I'm a girl.

Christabel you f*cked up. You shouldn't have taken the wine.

"You're really good in pretending, huh?"

He finally uncaged me and walked to his bed.

He sat down and took his phone.

"I should take a photo of you." I winked and began operating his phone. The next thing I heard was a flash of light from his phone.

Jeez!

"Beautiful!" I removed his gaze from his phone and smiled.

I just shook my head annoyingly and walked to my room.

I need to call Nancy and Natasha. I gotta tell them about this.

"Christabel?" Nancy's voice echoed.

"Nancy, Is Natasha with you?"

"Oh no! She isn't. She just left with her mom right now. Is there a problem?" She responded.

"Yes." I took in a breath then let it out.

"What is it? Did the prince kissed you?"

"Just keep quiet and let me talk okay? Well, the prince got to know that...I'm a girl." I spilled it.

"Wait! I didn't hear you clearly. Can you repeat that again?"

"The prince knows. He knows that I'm a girl." I repeated.

"Jesus!" She screamed. "How the f*ck did he know? Did you tell him. Jeez! Are you that careless?" I heard her sigh.

"I'm not at fault okay?" I decided to explain everything to her.

"Okay, but just make sure he keeps it a secret okay? I still can't believe this."

"Me too. Anyway, I guess I have to tell mom about this."

"She will understand."

I ended the call amd decided to call my mom and I told her about it.

"Mom, I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Since he said he's going to keep it a Secret, I think we should trust him. In fact he's the reason you're there." Mom stated.

"He's really a jerk sometimes amd rude. He behaves like a baby too. Urgh!" I spoke, disgustingly.

"You just have to endure it, Christabel." Mom cooed.

"I get it. Thanks mom and my regards to dad."

"Sure, bye."

**

At night, I grabbed my towel, deciding to take a bath.

No more secrets from him except one.

I had my bath and this time, the towel was tied around my body.

His eyes were glued to my body when I came out of ths bathroom. I swallowed before marching into my room to wear my clothes.

The light suddenly turned off. I got down from my bed and walked to the prince's room.

It was dark too. "Christabel?"

"My prince!" I exclaimed, seeing his eyes.

What the hell!

"We need to leave here!" He stated, sternly and I felt his hand on mine.

Where are we going?

My eyes caught a blue light passing through the field. The prince's eyes turned blue. That made me stop on my track.

"Your eyes." I whispered.

"Let's get out of here now. I don't wanna feel guilty of what will happen here." The light around the hall was turned on again and I could see his face. Quite sad.

I trailed behind him till we got to a forest like place and stopped.

He turned to me with his shinning blue eyes.

"Christabel!" The way he called that name sounds cool.

"What?" I replied.

"I don't know who I am. And I'm trying to get my identity from my parents but they are keeping it away from me.

Every 16th of the month, I find my self having blue eyes instead of green. I just don't know who I am" He said, sitting on a log.

"Why did you say you don't wanna feel guilty at the end if we don't leave the hall?" I questioned.

"The last time I stayed, everyone was screaming and objects disappearing. Some nearly died of screaming out their lungs" He answered.

"Oops! What are you gonna do now?" I cooed.

The only thing I could see clearly now his just those eyes. Shinning is really an understatement.

"You don't expect me to know. See this." He snapped his fingers and the tree behind me fell.

"Another power." He sighed.

"You're gifted." I whispered, walking close to him.

"Kind of. But I don't know my real identity. I'm surprised, you aren't screaming out your lung."

"Maybe that's because I'm a Gem." I replied.

"What's your main reason for being here? You're to guide some right?"

"Yes. I'm still insisting on not telling you." I smirked and sat down on the grass.

He copied me and rested his head on my shoulder.

"For how long are we going to be here?" I inquired.

"Till morning." He responded.

"Huh?" My eyes opened.

Have never slept outside before. Not to talk of this forest.

"I'm scared of........."

"Lions, snakes?" He chuckled and wrapped his hands around me.

"It's a good thing you're a girl." He kissed my earlobe and lay me down on the grass.
