Chapter 14 (Zero & Zora)

(Third POV)

"This one looks pretty strong," Zora whispered kneeling down on top of a building watching their prey like a hawk. Zero and Zora has been on a man-hunt hunting down the vamps that killed Noelia parents. The first one was easy, Zora took care of him in ten minutes flat after finding him coming out the bar.

Noah Gibson was his name, he was a stone crackhead that loves to feed on the innocent and love to get high. Ascelin reported that he might be found at a bar high and drunk. Even though Noah was a crackhead, he was the brains of the task of killing Noelia parents. He thought of everything and it almost was successful until the child got away.

Zora waited for him to stumble out the bar whipping someone blood from his mouth. She watched him take off into the woods and she quietly went after him. After following him deep in the forest Noah stop.

"I know you following me, Blondie." He stuttered, catching Zora by surprise.

'He noticed me' Zora thought walking out from her hiding place to reveal herself.

"Noah Gibson, right?" Zora asked. Noah turned around to look at the beautiful blonde.

"What a beautiful thing like you following a guy like me?" Noah smirked eyeing her body. Zora send him an disgusting glare as she slowly walked over to him.

"To kill you. Do you know who the Rose family is?" Zora asked puffing up her jacket licking her lips.

"I don't know what you're talking about?" Noah said nervously backing away from her.

"Tisk, Tisk, Tisk, wrong answer," Zora said putting up her hair, "let's see if you can answer this right, did you kill them?"

"Who the hell are you?" He said.

"Wrong answer!" Zora hissed her eyes turned red before using her vampire speed to stand in front of Noah and grabbed him by his neck.

"You should be ashamed of yourself killing innocent people!" Zora said before breaking his neck.

"Took you long enough?" Zero said coming out of nowhere.

"Shut up! I wanted to see if he will confess to it," Zora said ripping his head off and the rest of his limps. Zora placed Noah died body in a pile and Zero lit it up into flames.

"Good job, baby!" Zero said kissing Zora on the lips and she blushed.

"Come on, we still have two more to go!"

The second one was located deep in the woods hidden from the outside world which didn't take long for Zero to kill him.

"That wasn't no fun!" Zora said when Zero came back over to her and he smiled.

"Why waste our time on him when the next one will inquire all our energy," Zero said wrapping his arms around Zora.

"I actually want to waste my energy on something else," Zora said wrapping her arm around his waist.

"I guess we could spare a few minutes." Zero said kissing her.

"Great!"

"Babe, look!" Zero whispered pointing to a anger looking guy crossing the street. Nick Conman was leaning against the wall in a dark alley smoking a cigarette. Nick was the muscular and scary one out of all three of them. Nick worked as a bodyguard for a club down the street. Zora and Zero watched carefully at the unknown man walking towards Nick.

"He doesn't look happy," Zora mumbled glancing over at Zero, "how are we doing this?"

"Just wait..." Zero said.

"Nick!" The unknown man roared grabbing ahold of Nick jacket and banged him up against the door.

"What now, Vincent?" Nick said dropping his cigarette to the ground and crushed it with his feet.

"Kol is looking for you!" Vincent said letting go of Nick and backed away, "he's still pissed that you didn't finished the job and bounce without a trace."

"Kol?" Zero whispered to himself trying to figure out if he knows that name.

"That ain't my problem, I was only told the adults, not the kid," Nick said shrugging his shoulder.

"I don't know how long I could keep you hidden, he wants to see you and I think you need to go," Vincent said backing away.

"Have he contact Noah and Stephan?" Nick asked and that's when Zero and Zora went into action. They jumped down to where they were, throwing a blow to each of the man face. Zora took Vincent and Zero took Nick, Nick quickly recovered from the blow. Nick went into defense mode fighting Zero.

"You know, you might be scary, but your combat skills is so poorly,"

Zero confused to Nick dodging his attack with ease before grabbing his arm and kicked him right in his stomach before flipping on his back.

"Ow!" Zero hear Zora scream and he quickly turned to look to see Vincent arm around her neck. Zero picked up a shred glass, he threw it towards Vincent and Zora direction and hit Vincent square in his face.

"Let go of my girl," Zero mumbled, Zora moved Vincent arm around her neck before turning around to rip his head off.

"I had it!" Zora said dropping his head to the floor.

"I didn't want him touching you for another second," Zero said turning around to pick up Nick, "Who's Kol?"

"I'm not telling you shit!" Nick spit blood on to Zero face, Zero growled before snapping his neck and dropped him to the ground. He pulled out a handkerchief to whip his face, he dropped the handkerchief on the ground turning to Zora.

"Are you ok!" Zero asked her and she nod.

"Let's get rid of them and head home," Zero said fixing himself up, "I wonder if Ascelin knows a Kol."
