Hazel in the Demon's Den

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!” “Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!” == Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself. He spoils her rotten without expecting anything in return and Hazel's confusion only grows. She doesn't know why he is acting this way. Or why he reminds her so much of the 'dangerous' childhood friend she thought was gone forever... *Cover art by polkadottedscrunchie*

There! All Better, Daddy

Will kept a close eye on both Henry and Maisie over the next two years but the only darkness he could see was in the boy. He was still cool and detached, not caring about much aside from his family but at least that now included his sister.

She remained a little terror but had calmed slightly under her big brother's influence. There was no indication she had any problems relating to others because she was incredibly social and loved playing with her friends. Hazel had to set up playdates for her nearly every day to keep her satisfied even with nursery school going on.

Maisie had hazel eyes like her father but that seemed to be the only thing they had in common. Both of the kids were blonde but their shades were much lighter than either of their parents' natural hair.

One good thing about the kids getting closer meant that Henry was in his office less to hide. Will was able to get a lot more work done that way.
