“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!” “Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself. He spoils her rotten without expecting anything in return and Hazel's confusion only grows. Talking In Circles

Will tilted his head, obviously curious, as he mulled this information over. "What colors have you done before?"

Oh geez, how was Hazel supposed to remember all of them? She had been changing her hair color once or twice a year for the past six years. She had to think about it for a minute.

"Let's see…red….bright purple…navy blue…lime green… That was a major mistake! Next was magenta, blue ombre, lilac, turquoise, and now my current color. Rose gold. Kinda silly, huh?" she said, a bit embarrassed. Normal people weren't nearly so indecisive about hair colors.

He shook his head. "I don't think it's silly. What's your natural hair color?"

She smiled. She had been expecting him to say something like that. He always seemed to know the right thing to say.

"A few shades lighter than yours. I haven't seen my natural hair in years."
