Hazel replied to Muffincake's message, telling her that she had already thought of that possibility but that it couldn't be true. She wouldn't drop it; she was convinced that this whole thing was going to play out like a romantic drama.
Rolling her eyes, Hazel got so annoyed that she closed the app. She decided to watch some TV while waiting for her dinner to arrive. National Geographic was playing a documentary about coral reefs.
She watched it with a sense of wonder. Everything from the fish to the coral was bright, beautiful, and almost other-worldly.
Will had once said he would take her snorkeling or scuba diving sometime…was he going to fulfil that promise while they were in Mexico? She tried not to get her hopes up too much in case he didn't plan on it but the thought filled her with excitement.
