CHAPTER 11

OROBAS

After finding a place where we can stay in , we quickly talked about the plan that Josh have in mind.

"The plan is to stake this midnight and wait for them to come. Since those a*sholes are now near here we can just wait for them to come and catch them. I'm sure not all of them would go kidnapping the kids some of them has to be left in their hideout so we'll have to use my sixth sense to make them spill the exact location of their hideout." Josh explained.

That's a good plan though I have other suggestion.

"I hate to differ but isn't weird? The citizens here didn't exactly said that someone has already been kidnapped in here . What they said was that the kidnappers are coming here. Isn't it strange?" I utter. Making all of them quiet.

"She's right they didn't exactly said that, meaning someone spread the news of the kidnappers coming here . But how will they know that?" Dianne agreed.

Josh clenched his jaw as he finally realized.

"Tsk they knew because they're one of them. Wow, I was to occupied thinking of a plan that I didn't notice that." Josh.

"Alright it's easier for us we just have to catch the person who spread the rumors." Magna.

"It's not. How would we know the exact person who spread the rumors? And don't you think that their already hiding as they've finish their job on spreading the rumor?" Dianne.

"You're right now we're back to square one." Magna sighed.

"Then let's just go with Josh initial plan but I'm gonna add something . " I confidently said as I explained to them the plan that I have in mind.

"That sounds like a good plan." Dianne commented , all of them nodded in agreement.

I turned to Lei as I felt him looking at me.

"Okay let's hurry and execute the plan." He simply said and we immediately move.

It's midnight now. The moon is up in the sky shining so bright. I'm wearing a dark cloak to hide myself as we wait for our prey to come on our trap.

As I feel a buzzing sound in my head, I immediately signal the alphas using our telepathy connection .

"House sixteen!" I exclaimed in my mind for them to hear.

I immediately surround the house with a huge and beautiful thorns.

I also saw Magna surrounding the top part of the house with fire while Dianne keep her thunders roaring loud and clear.

And we saw Lei inside the house signalling that's it's done we all sighed in relief.

We entered the house and find two guys already trembling in fear , both of them wearing black cloaks.

"Great plan Haya, it worked." Dianne complimented.

I just simply smiled at her.

My plan was simple actually. I told them that if we're going to catch a rat the trap should be big enough. So we talked to the village's leader privately. We told him that we're going to catch the kidnappers but we need their help.

First we're going to put alarm that would be triggered if someone unknown entered a house. And to that without being suspicious. I suggested for an relief operation. We disguised ourselves as people who give protective dolls to kids but that's actually the alarm and to make it more believable we took the village leader with us. Fortunately their are only about ninety houses in here so we get it done before the sun goes down.

After that, I asked for the help of every mythical creature in the forest to surround the whole village in case someone escaped us. While the five of us is spread throughout this village while communicating using our Alpha telepathy connection. And once we catch the kidnappers. Josh would use his sixth sense to make them spilled the location of their hideout so we can proceed on destroying it.

So when the culprits proceed inside a room of anyone in this town an alarm would be send to me , after that I'll signal the alphas and whoever is nearer has to go there and stop the kidnappers on corrupting the kids dream. Because we figured that they're corrupting the kids dreams to make their bodies willingly come to them. Unfortunately today before they could even do that , Lei is the nearest to that house so he stopped those guys in the worst case possible.

By stopping their souls to function.

"Now let's see what information you dumbsh*ts have." Josh commented .

I'm kinda taken back, wow I guess anyone can have the ability to speak like that huh. It's just weird to hear him say that he's always prim and proper.

He held on both guys heads and gripped it hard. A few seconds later both guys head and their eyes glow in an emerald manner and their mouth agape;now their mind fully hypnotize.

"Now tell me what part of Orobas exactly is your hideout located?!" Josh asked .

"It's located right in the middle in the former cotton factory." The guy utter in daze.

"Next question what do you gain by kidnapping those innocent kids?!" Josh asked again.

"Money." The guy answered and Lei didn't stop himself but to kicked both guys.

"Bunch of trash!" Dianne uttered while her fist clenched.

"Lastly what do you to those kids after you kidnapped them?"

"We...imprisoned them in the underground cell."

"Why? What do you need those kids for?"

"A sacrificed for ...waking up the great Echidna."

And after that guy said that we are left speechless.

"What nonsense is this?! Waking up Echidna?! The mother of all monsters ! Are they crazy?!" Dianne hesterically said.

"Dianne everthing about this bastards are crazy." Magna commented.

"Then we don't have much time. We have to go there as soon as possible , meaning now!" Lei said with much authority on his voice.

"You're right we need to go there at once. Well I'll just get rid of this a*sholes." Josh.

And as Josh says that he chanted something and after a few seconds the two kidnappers writhed in pain as their brain explode.

I look away at the grotesque scene.

We bid our goodbye to the village leader and they thanked us. After that we didn't waste our time on leaving the village. This time, Lei uses his blessing. His blessing of teleporting using the shadows though he don't use it often as this is a mana draining ability. And unlike spatial magic this ability allows you to teleport to a place you haven't gone before.

"Wait before we teleported there, I have a planned. Well we can't just go to a war without a strategy." Josh said as he smirks.

After briefing us about the plan, Lei didn't waste any time to teleports us. Darkness engulfed our body and once again I felt that nauseous feeling and so I closed my eyes. And when I opened it again we were greeted by an abandoned, dark eerie village.

"That must be the factory." Magna commented as his gaze focuses on a big building not so far from us.

"Now guys stick to the plan. We won't let those bastards see the daylight anymore." We nodded to Josh as we part ways.

Our plan was , first I'll have to communicate with the creatures here and get them to help me on releasing the kids who've been kidnapped. While Magna would surround the factory with fire so no one gets to escaped while the other three will take care of the a*sholes inside. But this time I won't be disturbing some unknown creatures instead I'll summon someone I knew.

"Xie, Wil I summon you." I chanted as I run in the back of the factory. I can feel the small mana of the kids under the ground of the forest in the back of the factory.

Xie and Wil in his wolf form appear in front of me.

"It's been a while Haya." Xie commented.

I actually wanted to say, yeah because you guys left me but let's save the talking later.

"Guys I need your help, Xie can you teleport me inside the underground cell? While Wil can you create a safe place for the kids once I released them?" I plead and they immediately obeyed.

Xie teleported with me and in just a flick of a finger. I'm now inside the underground cell.

There are only two guys guarding and before they can even signal their comrades I quickly covered their bodies with thorns and let it slowly kill them after that I destroyed the big metal door by kicking it.

And when I saw what's inside it, my heart clenched at the sight of kids inside the prison bars , hands and feet in cuffs. Some crying, trembling in fear and some passed out.

"D-dont worry, I'm here to save you."

For the first time since I've been here my voice trembled.

The kids eyes suddenly filled with hope. I signalled them to be quiet and they all obey. I quickly held on the metal bars and turned it to flowers. One of the blessing that I've got from Aphodite. Turning something unbeautiful to flowers.

And as I get closer to the kids a sudden explosion suddenly resonate making them trembled in fear.

"Don't worry it's my team mates. We've come here to save you ." I said to calm them down and thank the gods it worked.

I held in the cuffs that's chaining them and turned it to become beautiful flowers.

But once I finish uncuffing them someone suddenly barge in.

"F*ck! Who are you intruders?! Your ruining our beautiful plan! Go to the underworld!" The big fat guy who barged in shouted as he charged towards me with his big swords.

"Xie protect the kids."

I quickly run towards him as my moonsword meet his ugly sword.

"I beg your pardon but the only beautiful thing here is me and your too ugly to be in the underworld so ill send you to the abyss!" I exclaimed as I summoned giant thorns. The thorns surrounded his body but it all vanished when this guys whole body suddenly turned big, red and more...uglier.

"Behold my monster form!" He said as he released fireballs in his mouth.

Disgusting.

Xie created a shield for the kids so I just created a big shield for myself using moonlight.

"That's it? You spitting fire? So lame and disgusting." I commented as I charged my moonsword towards him and I didn't gave him the time to dodge as I wrapped his body with thorns I quickly swing my moonsword on it's head as I create a big moonlight so the kids won't see it .

After beheading this monster his body faded leading his soul to the abyss. Funny how I look away at a scene like this earlier but I didn't even blink doing this myself.
