CHAPTER 10

INFORMATION

After packing all the things that we'll be needing for the mission we are all now in the garden in our headquarters as Magna will be opening a portal from here to the west kingdom. He can't take us directly to the village that we'll be going as he hasn't been there yet.

"It's a bummer that I won't be with you, for your first mission but I know you'll do great there Hayami." Deya sighed.

She actually wanted to come as she wanted to see me 'in action ' which I don't know what she meant.by that.

"Well as you said this only Haya's first mission, there are many opportunities to come for you to be with her in a mission so don't be to bummed Deya." Lana said to comfort Deya.

"Are you done now?" The devil said.

Ahh, this party pooper tsk!

Deya and Lana nodded at him. Lei ordered for Magna to do the portal then Magna did so.

After concentrating his mana and building it up like a black hole he quietly register the place that we'll be going in his mind. After that the portal appear. That's only base on my observation though and I hope it's right because I'll be needing that in the future.

After bidding our goodbye's we all take turns on entering the portal, once I enter , that nauseous feeling surrounds me and after a few seconds. Once again I found myself standing on a middle of a forest. Though this time I'm with someone and the forest look peaceful.

"Ugh! I really want to take you Haya in the capital but we have to finish the mission as soon as possible." Dianne utter.

"It's fine, we can do that once we finish the mission." I simply said. And I don't know why I said that. Maybe to comfort her?

She seems to really want me , see the west to brag about her region .

"So how we'll be going to that town if we can't use the portal?" Dianne asks Lei.

"We won't immediately go there first we have to gather information about that place and build a plan. Josh, I know that I'm the leader but you're wisdom for this thing is what we need for a planner." Lei explained.

Wow. That's the longest time that I ever heard him talk.

"Okay, since this is the Wonia forest there's a small town near here , the Wonia village. We could go there and gather some information." Dianne .

We all nodded at her . But then a question suddenly come to my mind.

"Are we just gonna walk to make it out here?" I asked and all of them turned to me.

Lei raised his eyebrows at me.

"Well do you see anything that we can ride on? We can't also summon our familiar just because you don't like to walk. So if you keep being lazy then just stay here and wait for us to finish the mission."

Curse this guy! I'm asking politely! Tsk.

I calmed myself and concentrate. As an Artemis's blessed the goddess of the moon and hunting. I'll use her connection to the forests to my advantage .

"Protectors of this forest hear me, A small help from you is needed would you hear and help this lady?" I chanted.

And the wind suddenly blow hard the branches of the trees dance , the birds chirped and howling can be heard everywhere.

"Wow is this one of the blessing of an Artemis blessed? It's so amazing." Magna commented.

They all become more quiet when a pink unicorn come towards me coming from somewhere in this forest.

I heard them gasped as the unicorn slowly come towards me and once it's finally in front of me it even bowed down to me.

'Greetings to the God's favorite '

It talked to me through my mind. And my eyes widen. I guess the creature's here knew.

"Greetings to you too, thank you for coming here. May I ask for your help?" I asked the mythical creature.

'I'll be honored to help you, what can I do for you my lady?'

"Well me and my companion here Dianne, we need a ride. Would you mind helping us? Just until we reach the village next to this forest." I straightforwardly asked.

Dianne gasped and the guys scoffed . Yeah I won't be helping you, you arrogant jerks.

'It would be our pleasure.'

After saying that another unicorn appears. A white unicorn, it bowed it's head on me too.

"Okay let's go." I said and the two unicorns they did the pleasure of crouching down so it's easy for me and Dianne to climb up .

I easily climb at the unicorns back while Dianne slightly hesitate but nonetheless rode it.

"Wow, seriously?!" Magna amusingly said.

"Tsk instead of fretting about this you should start walking Magna." Josh.

After signalling the unicorns, Dianne guide us on which way we should go . I ordered the unicorns to go fast so they did. Dianne didn't mind us leaving the guys so we continued and a few more galloping and the sound of the lively village resonate in our ears..

We carefully get down once we're near the border of the forest and the village.

"Thank you for your help . I'll be remembering this." I said as I bowed my head to the unicorns.

"I thank you too, thanks to you we arrived here quickly." Dianne also thanked them.

'It's nothing, we're happy to be a once of help to the legendary generation. If you may, we shall go.

After confusing me the unicorns immediately run away and quickly fade in our eyes.

Legendary generation?

"You're blessings are truly amazing Hayami, I've seen many blessing but yours is the most unique that I even get envious." Dianne blurted and she also seem shock at what she said.

"Oh sorry, I honestly wanted to apologize to you when we first met. I kinda act mean and arrogant towards you. It's just flustered me so much on how you easily par with Lei. And you being a new Alpha, I just don't know how to act towards you." She shyly said as she lowered her head.

"Held your head up high Dianne. Its fine , I accept your apology. And a lady never bown down to someone the same level as her remember that." I shamelessly said.

She blushed harder because of that.

"Gosh you saying that makes me flustered. I'm straight for God's sake! Stop making our heart flatter please. " she said as she fan herself with her hand.

What?! Me flattering who?!

"Whoo! Why is the exit for this forest so far?!" Magna whined as soon as the three of them arrived.

"Tsk, guess you guys need to work on your speed huh." Dianne mockingly utter.

"Tsk let's go." Lei.

He marched and we follow him.

A few more walks and we arrived on a busty and busy street.

"Ahhh this is it the Wonia Village." Magna commented as we roam our eyes around.

"So how will we gather information?" Dianne asked.

"It's simple we go to this village pub." Josh stated and starts asking some locals here on where is the pub located.

Wow. His serious about that. But then again that's also my thought. Pubs are the number one place to go to when you need information. Well that's according to dad.

"Let's go. They said it's just near around that corner." Josh.

He walked towards an alley and we just followed him.

Huh, I guess Lei knew how to obey too.

Once we're outside the pub we all stop when we felt a strange ominous aura.

"I guess we all felt it. Let's be wary and careful. Our main goal is to gather information do not cause a fuss." Lei reminded.

We all nodded and follow him as he opens the wooden door of the pub.

A bell sound resonate when he open it and as we gets a glimpse inside , both men and woman huddling on liquors met our eyes.

Since we drank an alteration potion earlier, our appearance are different. For others we look just like a normal group of travelers but for us alphas we're still the same.

We carefully approach a table and we sat on it. The guys ordered some drinks so people won't be suspicious of us.

"Gosh have you heard?! The kidnappings have reach our village!!" A woman next to us exclaimed .

"You're right! The village knights tightened the security for our village!" A man commented.

"Tsk! You think tightening the security would do any good?! We have to protect our children ourselves! I heard that those damn kidnappers appear every midnight! Those assholes must have an Hypnos blessed among them! I also heard that the kids get kidnapped in their sleep!" Another man exclaimed.

"Must be! So cruel! What could they be doing to those kids?" A woman asked.

"No one knows we can only pray that they're not killing them. I hope someone can put a stop to this." Another woman said as she sighed.

I clenched my fist. A hypnos blessed? A very good opponent. You f*cktards better hide, I'm coming to kill you all.

"Let's go, that's enough information." Josh said as he stand up.

All of us follow and left the pub.
