It was a tense Saturday morning as Mrs. Davison paced anxiously in the room, her mind racing with worry. She hadn't heard a word from Peggy since the previous night. Mrs. Davison's desperation grew as she repeatedly dialed Adrienne's number, only to hear the automated message that the number didn't exist.
Suddenly, Daniel stormed into the living room, his anger evident in his expression.
"What did you mean on the phone? What do you mean Adrienne was kidnapped?" he shouted at Mrs. Davison.
