Adrienne sat in her usual meditation pose, lost in deep thought. With Daniel still on his leave and set to return to work tomorrow, and Ryan, her newfound friend who she had become attached to, already out of the country and not returning for two months, she felt a sense of loneliness creeping in. And then, there was boss.
Although he had apologized to her the last time they met, Adrienne had no intention of crossing paths with him anytime soon. To make matters worse, Lucy, her usual companion, was also absent. Sundays were typically lonely for Adrienne, as Lucy rarely worked on weekends. Today was no exception, leaving Adrienne feeling more alone than ever before.
