"Let me see the video!" She shouted, and immediately felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. Her eyes and head spun, and she stumbled, but Ryan sprang up from his knees and caught her just in time.
"You're pregnant, Adrienne. You shouldn't stress yourself like that," Ryan said, guiding her gently towards the nearest couch.
"How did you know I'm pregnant?" Adrienne asked, confusion etching her face.
"Remember the day you passed out? I took you to the hospital," Ryan explained.
Adrienne's brows furrowed.
"I didn't know that, and no one told me. Thank you though," she responded.
Ryan sighed, slumping back on the couch and crossing his arms over his chest.
"What's the matter?" Adrienne asked.
"I just remembered Brian." The pain of remembering Brian flickered in his eyes. In an instant, tears welled up in Adrienne's own eyes again.
"Why are you crying?" Ryan leaned closer, cupping her face with his hands and using his thumbs to wipe away the tears.
