Denise is distracted while having dinner with her sisters. she is trying to think of an event for the library opening. and they tell her not to be a workaholic, since she is quitting soon anyway.

Denise thinks Austin is trying to change her mind because he actually needs her. Jessica worries that Denise likes Austin but Denise denies (a little too loudly )jessica says Denise needs to end it clearly before she is stuck being his secretary forever.

On the way to the restroom Denise screams when she see spider. she asks Jessica if it's possible to overcome phobias and Jessica assured her she can get over it. if she keeps facing her fear. she tells Denise to visit her office but Denise says she is busy not talking about herself.

Austin sits at home ,wondering what Denise is doing. He picks up a copy he purchased of the book she was reading at the library, scoffing that she was reads such childish stuff, the being reading the book himself. one passage says " In this heavy and confusing life while you deal with your business, you wounder what they are doing all of sudden and think of the person first instead of yourself. That's enough of a reason to call it love "

In the morning, Janet is exited over an article announced the release date for Morpheus book and she wounder why he's never revealed his identity. This gives Denise the idea to do a book concert with a famous author for the library opening.

She takes the idea to Austin and she starts to mention Morpheus, then stops when she worries that she might not be able to convince Morpheus to do it. Austin comments that her plan is incomplete so Denise asks for time to work out the details.

Austin gets a text from Aidan that he in the Yuli group. Austin suddenly sends Denise to the burger shop with an oddly specific order. He orders her not to hurry and to take the stairs obviously trying to get rid of her.

Aidan makes his way to Austin office say that he stopped by on his way to meet with the publisher. He offers Austin an advance copy, which Austin doesn't accept Aidan says he wouldn't read it any way since it a lovestory . Aidan tells Austin that he should date so he knows what love is, but Austin just says there are may things he needs to learn and tells Aidan to leave.

Denise is getting back to office as Aidan is leaving and they recognise each other from last night. Aidan ask Denise her number insisting when Denise says she is in hurry. so she takes his phone. He sees her name on her employees badge and he laughs when he realised she gave him a fake number.

Denise takes the food up to Austin office. who says he lost his appetite. she smiles and takes the food away but she's worried at how upset he seems.
