Maybe I just wanna be yours

Cosmo walked up to Betty and knelt to face Sajan

"Am your father" The man told the boy.

The boy blinked repeatedly and looked at Nix.

"Come" Cosmo put his hand forward to take the boy.

Nix dragged the boy to himself. Nix fell short of words too even though it had been his wish for all of this to vanish into thin air or for someone to just pop out of nowhere and claim Sajan. But he didn't think he might feel the way he felt now. He had gotten used to having Sajan as his son a part of him felt excited about having him.

"What do you mean?" Betty asked Cosmo. He smiles embarrassingly but answered her question truthfully, not wanting her to doubt him.

"It's a long story"

She cocked her head to the side in wonder.

"Let's go home then" Betty suggested.

Sasha got into Cosmo's car while Nix, Betty, Sajan, and the twins got into the car leading the way for Cosmo. Nix called Noah Thor who advised him to drive to his house including that he would call Doctor Darrel. The car came to a halt at the Thors mansion and so did the car behind theirs. Sasha and Cosmo looked at each other, cosmo broke the stare and followed nix into the house. Nix and his brother were seated down waiting for Cosmo. Sasha felt her body freeze when her eyes met with Noah Thor.

When they had settled down Noah Thor looked at Cosmo

"You said that Sajan is your son?"

Cosmo nodded.

He signaled for Doctor Darrel to come.

"You and nix should go with him"

When Cosmo and Nix left with Darrel, Noah turned to Sasha

"Do you have something to say?"

Sasha swallowed hard.

Cosmo and nix returned on time before she could utter a word, she sighed in relief.

"I think Sasha was waiting for you before she could say anything. How do you know he's your son?" Noah Thor asked

Cosmo stood up

"I and Sasha were in a secret relationship, and that was when we both had our first "encounter" as a couple. It went on and on till I caught her with Phoenix's best friend, Benny. I was disappointed but not surprised at all. We broke up after that but she returned a few months later crying that she was pregnant. I refused to accept it because I knew that she had so many affairs within and outside. She left and never came back, when the child was born she pressurized me to go for a DNA test which I went for but due to some reasons I could not fathom, I wasn't around to collect the test result. After some years I managed to come back to the country and that was when I found out that my son Sajan was now given off to phoenix as his son. I kept quiet because I wasn't sure if he was my son, till after Phoenix and Sasha broke up. She came running back to me that she wanted her son and when she showed me the results I decided to get him back by all means."

Everyone fell silent as they waited for Darrel to confirm Cosmo's story. Darrel walked into the living room with the results in his hands.

"He isn't Phoenix's son"

"But how come?" phoenix raged.

"I don't know how....."

"Sasha why did you blame nix?".

She knelt on the floor

"Cosmo is the real father, not phoenix. When Cosmo refused to hear me out I had no option but to blame it all on Phoenix. I fell in love with him and I didn't want to lose him to Betty that was why I did what I did. I was able to manipulate the results gotten by each doctor Nix went to even in private because of...Betty's dad"

Betty shrieked looking at Karin

"Not him your real father" Sasha chipped in

"He's out?" she yelled.

Sasha nodded.

Noah Thor stood up

"Dilan find out where he is. Cosmo you can have your son back only if Nix is willing to let him go"

Nix looked at Noah Thor.

"It's your choice son"

Nix looked at Sajan. They both hugged each other before Cosmo took Sajan. The twins went closer to Sajan

"We'll miss you" they hugged him.

Cosmo noticed the way little Noah had been staring at him.

"Noah? Niah?"

"Dad?!" Noah yelled and hugged him.

"Nah it's dad" he yelled again. Niah looked at Cosmo

"Daddy??" the girl hugged him with tears in her eyes.

Berry stood up

"What happening?".

"When I left the country I got married to another woman who gave me twins but she died after both due to prolonged bleeding. While coming back I left them with my friend but when I came for them iIheard that they were robbery that lead to the death of my friend and family but my twins were kidnapped"

Nix couldn't believe his eyes. His wish came through.....the burdens on his shoulders were finally lifted in a day. He saw how shocked Betty was

"Betty" he called out her name

Betty turned to see Nix kneeling with a ring in his hands.

"The children found happiness and comfort.....I want you to find that with me. Would you marry me?"

This wasn't his initial plan. He planned to ask her after their dinner but it seemed things turned that other way. Karin smiled to himself while Dilan, Sasha, Cosmo, his kids, and the two men that stood silent for a while Liam and Linax fixed their gazes on them.

"Maybe I just want to be yours" and with that, she nodded. Nix slid the ring into her finger.
