55 The tomb

-Harry Pov -

It has been a day since I got my hands on the stones from the ruins in Egypt, by now I'm sure wizards have taken over the excavation if the crazy wizard archeologist figured out the stones were magical then I'm sure the Egyptian wizards have.

I put on a light outfit, and some of those shoes you wear in the sand. I then waved my hand and made a portal, my sorcery skills have increased exponentially, over the past three years I have gotten knowledge on a lot of subjects sorcery being one that rarely shows up, and I have been of course making my own strides in the subject.

Not a lot has shown up in the shop, that was dead useful, but one thing that has was a new knowledge rarity, epic knowledge. It cost twenty thousand points per draw but it's so worth it.

I have got some knowledge of the language of Atlantis which I figured out the life and time tablet was written in, but I haven't got enough to decipher a lot.

I also got knowledge of, sex magic which is wild, and necromancy which I at first thought was stupid because soul magic is rare tiered but, I realized that necromancy is a lot more than what you first think I can basically play with corpses like putty if I want to.

Though one of my favorite branches of knowledge is Fuinjutsu I am actually in the process of making seals that can hold magic, I want them because if it works then squib's might be able to do selective things using magic.

My overall goal is to use Fuinjutsu, and runes to make a circuit that when applied can hold mana then like a Jinchūriki seal allow the wearer to access a stream of mana they can control so not all of it gets used up at once.

Pulling me out of my thoughts was the sight of several notice me not charms and wards, placed to keep muggles out.

Making several hand gestures I altered the wards not breaking them to create a gap in the ward scheme allowing me to easily walk through.

Once I was close to the wizards I put an illusion over myself that makes anyone that looks at me see their boss, and subconsciously believe it really is him.

"Load up the stones and rocks from the ruins inside this container," I said in English but they heard whatever language they spoke

They nodded and began to work on it filling the container I conjured.

"What have you found in there?" I asked one of the workers

"The curse breakers are still working on getting in sir," he replied

"Hm, okay where are they now?" I asked lightly

"They are taking a break," he replied simply

"Thanks, good work!" I said with a proud expression causing him to smile

This is why I didn't turn invisible, it's fun to act and play with people now if it was more a serious and challenging task I might have refrained from doing so and just gone in invisible.

I made my way down into the ruins, the tunnel was significantly lit so I didn't get any cool tomb raider vibes. Wait... This could be my first tomb raiding experience!

Now giddy I happily made my way down further and further into the ruins, eventually I had to stop, I could see a shit ton of wards, curses, and traps this place was guarded heavily.

I began to easily dismantle them, one by one. It took a good thirty minutes to make sure it was perfectly fine.

I finally made my way down, I arrived at an archway with two snakes at the sides I made sure nothing was trapped and made my way through.

Inside was a tomb and several images of cats, and what looks to be a pharaoh greeting the sun, and another image of a pharaoh seeing what I interpreted as death.

Then there was the stone casket, engraved upon the stone in ancient hieroglyphics were the words, 'King Narmer' if I remember my history correctly he was one of the first pharaohs. I studied him back in the day, I think one of my buddies wanted to find the tomb of a pharaoh, and he studied a lot about them I helped for a bit.

I pushed open the tomb, and the sight that greeted me was a skeleton, clutching a book of some sort.

The book was like a beacon of magic, its power was radiating brightly like a tsunami. I could tell the book was somehow bound to the bones, luckily I know voodoo and blood magic and soul magic so I should be able to figure out a method to get it. I put the cover back on and put the whole thing into my inventory.

I wish I could put the whole tomb into my inventory but I can't sadly, I looked around and couldn't spot any more useful items.

Before I left the tomb I put a myriad of wards and curses everywhere so no one would be able to get in, I might want to come back.

I then turned invisible and put all of the stones I saw into my inventory and then the stones the workers collected into it.

After that, I teleported back home.

[A couple of days later]

I finally got the book out of King Narmer's boney clutches. I of course inspected it several times for curses and saw that it was blood bound, great that means I can't open the damn thing! Well not now at least it might take a couple of hours, blood magic is tricky after all.

First, I started simple and began to cast several diagnostic spells to make sure what type of blood bond he made, there are a couple but the main two are single bonded which means only to the casters specific blood, and familial bond which means anyone from the casters direct line of family can use it, the second one is what I hope because it gives more leeway.

Yup, the bastard used a single bond, where the fuck does this guy get his rocks off from making my life more difficult, nah just playing I'm in fact enjoying the little challenge.

I began to slowly wiggle my way into the magic aura of the book, with mage sight it's so much easier since I can see the color, heaviness, and flow of the mana.

Little by little I worked my way in until my mana was basically intertwined with the book itself. From there I tried to find the magic that held the blood bond together. Sigh this was going to take a while.

Hours later I finally found the magic thread well more like chains that held the bond together, I began to hammer into it with brutal force hitting the chains in waves of raw power. Then like glass shattering the bond broke leaving me access to the book.

I opened the book to the first page it read,

'My knowledge is vast, I have seen much of the world, after what I saw on that fateful day I decided to write down my experiences along with my personal spells, I have bounded this 'book' as the Atlantians call it to myself. If somehow someone or thing breaks this bond this is a warning, don't trifle with forces you cannot understand.

I was once a King but I faked my death, to explore the world in search of magical knowledge and power. And power and knowledge I found.'

Holy shit! This man went to Atlantis! I wonder what it was like, lucky bastard.

As I read farther into the book the more interested I became, it was basically his memoir, The writing in the book was more refined than the inscribing on the casket, I recognized it immediately, of course, homie was writing in a runic language of hieroglyphics, I even saw some of the language of Atlantis in here which was a bit harder to read.

It's funny how runes and hieroglyphics can be used as an actual language, like how Asgardian runes are a language, and so are wizarding runes. But unlike those ones where each rune means something like how there is one rune for power, this writing is like a flow if that makes sense, it's like I'm reading English or Spanish. Instead of a bunch of runes placed together.

Honestly, it's beautiful.

Anyways I kept reading this is book is interesting.

I got called mudblood again, it seems like the bullying doesn't stop, it's my last year, and I was asked to look for jobs after I graduate, so I just said maybe something in the ministry not like I was actually going to do it, I just didn't want to hear a rant about how it's not smart to adventure out in search for knowledge, but some pure-blood overheard and laughed saying 'you think a mudblood can get a job as a ministry employee?! Ha maybe if you want to be a janitor.' that made me furious, I just wanted to teach him a lesson but I restrained myself and decided to look up what he was saying, can a mudblood really not get a good job?

Eventually, I found out what I was looking for by reading books and asking around, it seems like muggle-borns like me can't even get a good job.

Maybe I should put together a muggle-born group?

I stood in the throne room with Thor the detestable idiot, my mother, and Odin sat in front of us.

"Asgard has been getting looked down on for too long!" Odin said furiously

"Calm down honey, we will find out who is targeting Asgard," Mother tried to placate him

Yeah good luck finding Harry, that kid can be a ghost when he wants to.

Speaking of I really need to thank him for what he did to Thor.

"Shut up! First my vault and now even attacking my son in his welcome home ceremony! What's next is he going to steal the key to the Bifrost!" He yelled at her, HE YELLED AT MY MOTHER!

I felt anger bubble up inside me, my eyes narrowed and my gaze turned cold. This bastard should just die.

Maybe I should ask Harry to steal the key to the Bifrost.
