Nick and Helena went to the room with the ho-ho to basically spend the rest of the day relaxing. To be honest Nick was very much avoiding the book written to him by Chronos in fear of what he might find out. No matter how you look at it there was no reason such a being would do such a thing if it weren't a big deal. Sure the titan may simply being genuinely trying to help Nick but there was simply not enough information to make such an assumption safely considering the myth of the titan.-

Nick wasn't stupid enough not to notice how the Greek gods were the victors of that clash so it was entirely possible that they vilified the titan falsely. The problem with this came in the form of the gods own deeds that didn't exactly paint them in the most benevolent picture either. Zeus was a serial rapist , Athena was cruel and arrogant , Ares was behind a large amount of the drama in the world and Poseidon was cold and unfeeling just like his domain of the sea. The only decent god out of the lot was Hades who mostly just did his job when he wasn't being messed with by the other gods.-

Even the tale of how he fell into a one sided love with Persephone was not his own doing despite the consequences it had. Unfortunately that was all Nick had to go on in this matter , myths. Needless to say he was more than justified in his caution in regards to that book. Still he wasn't idle as he had nearly seven thousand points saved up at this point and he had a book that he had his eye on for quite a while now in the shop.-

Specifically {Creating the atronach forge} that was a detailed book on how to create a magical device that allows one to forge sentient magical constructs so long as the appropriate knowledge is used. This book was priced at 6270 points in the shop due to the way that the system appraises value for books. Books were priced based of three factors from what Nick could see , commonness or how easily it could be acquired , usefulness or how useful the knowledge within the book is and power or if the book held innate power or use beyond that of a container for knowledge.-

This book was from an entirely different world which made the price already considerably higher than most books from this world. The knowledge in the book was also very useful since it was a guide to the creation of a versatile magical device which raised the price even higher. Thankfully the book held no power of it's own so that actually lowered the price. After all of that the system determined a price based on it's own grading system. A rather funny thing Nick found was that while most of the books from this world were more expensive value wise in the system than in stores though there was exceptions to this rule.-

Things such as Lockhart's works about "his" adventures in the magical world. In stores each of the mans seven books cost five galleons which in terms of system points should mean that they would cost hundreds of points normally. The truth however was that due the the books being actually detrimental to learn from and extremely common were actually cheaper than nearly any other book save for nursery rhymes at a mere three points a book. Nick couldn't help but laugh at this as even the system thought the man was full of shit.-

Anyway Nick purchased the book he was interested in and and immediately took it out of Greed where it had appeared. Helena looked at the old brown leather bound book with frayed pages curiosity. When Nick opened the book however she was left stupefied as the language was unlike anything she had ever seen before. The clearly handwritten characters were strangely sharp looking and clearly based in some sort of symbolism. Nick on the other hand instinctively knew what the language was and was surprised to learn that it was basically that worlds version of demonic script , daedric runes.-

'No wonder it was so expensive , I could probably use this book to make a primer for a considerably large amount of the daedric rune system. That would make two whole magical writing languages that I alone will know in this world.' he thought pleasantly surprised. "What language is that?" Helena asked curiously. "I am not actually sure of it's origins but it looked interesting so I grabbed it from a clearly forgotten spot." Nick said not technically lying since he honestly had no clue where the language actually originated from and the book was definitely from an abandoned place considering its poor state.
