Disturbing read

Nick couldn't sleep after seeing these changes and so got back out of bed and dressed for tomorrow. Quietly leaving the dorm as well as the common word he made his way over to his workshop and unlocked the door before walking inside. Helena looked surprised to see him but he merely removed Chronos's book from Greed and she went serious. "Are you sure about this? There's no telling what sort of information this thing may contain." she said cautiously. Nick sighed "Yeah I might as well get this over with since I've been avoiding it for quite some time now." he said with a determined expression.

The path to power is a long and arduous one that very few of those blessed by the world can truly travel. My name is Chronos and I write this as a record for a future I have seen that is long after my time when the world is set to begin recovering from the great collapse. May the flow of time favor you ring maker. Before I can speak on that matter I would like to point out how appreciative I am of your caution in reading this work though unnecessary.-

In truth this tome is by no means the only one I have written and in fact is actually one of the few that I doubted would reach it's intended recipient , which is to say you. You see I was born of the the union of two rank nine beings and thus naturally was attuned to a divine domain , not that you would know what that is yet. In a way you could say that I was like a seer at it's absolute most extreme potency. My gaze saw each and every branch of the river of time and all the branches of those branches if I chose to focus on them.-

It was in this way that I was able to see that my father was bound to destroy this world in most branches of my future and chose to shoulder the weight of villainy to overthrow and slay him. It was the path with the best outcome in the long run. Things were well and good for a few centuries after that until I saw my own apportioned fate. My own children , those known as gods by you would grow cruel and whimsical to the fate of the world and seeing me as a hindrance to their fancy would slay me and many of my brethren.-

They would then create the human race in their image and rule over this world draining it of mana and resources in the process. This was unfortunately an absolute fixed point in time and inevitable to come to pass. How and when though were all changeable and so once again I chose to bear the weight of villainy and seal them in a barren but mana rich place so they might live but be stopped temporarily from crippling this world.-

The seal was tied to my own life and so was named Chronos's stomach by my children who would grow to hate me for stopping them. A single of my children who would be named Zeus would be spared the stomach by my wife Rhea who would think me unaware of the change. This too was a fixed point in time and so I could only helplessly watch time unfold. Knowing that the world would be magically crippled I began to look past the rule of my children for a time when the world may recover.-

To my surprise there was a single period of time in which many branches were formed around a single individual and a few of which restored the world early. In each of these branches there was always a single individual at the forefront of the change. I wrote a single tome addressing each and every one of these individuals and scattered them in the precise way that would cause them to land in the correct persons hands but otherwise be destroyed by time. In some branches this caused a good outcome and in others disastrous ones but it was a gamble I felt worth it.-

With that said I shall now reveal to you the method used to restore the world so that you may prepare for what is to come. You should not try to stop what is to come as you will fail should you make such an attempt as this too is a fixed point in time for your branch. The misguided wizard Grindelwald is sacrificing each of these towns in order to fuel an impressive magical ritual to revert the world to it's mana dense state that it was before my children ruled it. He will succeed but in the process destroy majority of the non magical humans achievements.
