89 Chapter 86: Valentine 3 (Hogwarts Girls)

After making fun of the situation a bit, we parted ways as we had agreed. We went to classes like any other day, but while we weren't there we did everything we planned for this day.

...

With the girls from the 'snake' team, minus Pansy, we toured Hogwarts. As Daphne wanted, we did a kind of salute to several of the prominent families in Slytherin, although she was the one who did most of the work, we just stayed a little far away looking at her while we played with my brothers' inventions or chatted with each other.

It wasn't the best way to spend Valentine's Day, but thanks to my skill, everything I did looked pretty good in their eyes.

"Tell me the truth. Did you want to go out with all of us to see if you caught anything? Do you expect any of us to pay attention to you?" Tracey asked as we took a break, eating some of my food.

"It's true?" Millicent asked me as she listened to Tracey.

"..." I stared at them "Maybe, but if it was, I'd be more greedy. It's not like I invited them all to get one, I would have invited them all to win them all" I said as I ate my sandwich

"HA" Tracey laughed.

...

With the 'Rarity' team we were in the tailoring room and that's where we would spend most of our time.

"I think a lime green wouldn't look too bad," Parvati said.

"I don't know, look how it looks in this dress" Lavander said, showing her a dress from a magazine that I brought them.

"What do you think Red?" Padma asked that is also reading several of those magazines.

"Why bother choosing one when you can have them all? It's not like this place will disappear tomorrow. We can make all the dresses we want and if we don't finish them today we'll finish them tomorrow."

The girls agreed with what I said and we started making dresses, gossiping in the process.

"Well, Penelope's may be a joke, but do you know who I'm doubting who likes women? Tavia Rimhorn, I saw she's looking at Angelina Johnson for a long time the other time, and you didn't seem to hate each other..." Lavender whispered, even though we were alone.

"Really?" the twins asked

"My instincts don't lie" She said proudly.

They kept chatting a little more, although I didn't participate much until...

"Red, you too must know some interesting secret..."

"Yes, you must have something to tell us"

"Well..." I hesitated at the girls' insistence "I can tell you something, but it has to be a secret that you take to your grave"

"Huuuu..." They said excitedly.

"You see, I found out about it… but don't tell anyone… that Professor Snape is so bitter and hates Gryffindor so much because when he was a student, a Gryffindor student stole the love of his life…" I began to relate a bit of history, but without giving any specific details.

The girls were so fascinated by the gossip of this caliber that they even put aside making clothes for a moment until I finished the story. They were all hungry for other stories like that and asked for more, so little by little I began to tell more spicy things, leaving them blushing. If I'm not mistaken, Padma must have ended up a bit wet from the way she moved... and it didn't help that for fun I used a little [ecstasy] on them occasionally.

...

With the 'Hogar' team, we spent it at first in the kitchen preparing the basics for the big cake we wanted. During the period when we could only wait, we went to the greenhouse to work with some plants and collect some flowers with which we would decorate the cake.

We weren't as talkative as the other groups, but we had a great harmony in which wherever we were, Hannah and Susan swapped the role of one being a serious, focused girl at work, and the other being a goofy, awkward girl funny that I didn't have much experience in the matter.

"I'm not going to deny that you have a green thumb Hannah, even with everything I learn, you have a better talent for plants. I think only Neville can reach you" I told her when I saw how she cut the flowers without any imperfection"

"It's not that big of a deal…there are a lot of people better than me" she said, somewhat blushing at my ability to see myself romantic, just like Susan was at my compliments in the kitchen.

"Red is right, I think you could be a great herbologist, just like Professor Sprout" Susan said as she was still struggling to cut some flowers without damaging them.

"Really?" She asked excitedly "The truth is that I like it a lot and I make an effort to learn, I read a lot about it in library books or academic papers like some essays done in Castelobruxo..."

"Castelobruxo?" Susan asked, she hadn't cared much about the wizarding world in the past, so she didn't remember much from schools outside of Europe.

"It's another school of magic that puts a special emphasis on herbology and magizology," I explained to Susan.

"And why didn't you go there instead of Hogwarts if you like herbology so much? I mean, not that I want to, because I don't want to lose a friend, but I think you would have liked it more."

"Because it's in Brazil" answered Hannah.

"Ohhh..." Susan understood.

"Although there are some exchange programs" I reminded her "Maybe you have the opportunity to go and see how it is"

"Do you think so? It would be very interesting" Hannah said with a smile.

Yes, very interesting... I suppose that today or tomorrow I must pay another visit to the director.

...

Team dynamite, I mean, team Jack. We were in the Nest, with me and Cho flying on broomsticks and with Penelope and Hermione riding ball throwers trying to hit us. We had a little competition to see if we could hold our own or if they could knock us down.

We had fun playing and once we finished we went to the den where Penelope and I gave a new demonstration of our dancing skills. Due to my teaching ability, she regained what she had lost over time and besides me, she is the best dancer in the place. Hermione and Cho also danced a bit on my hands, and throughout the process, the four of us got to talking.

"So... now I like girls? I'm surprised how much your little head can think of bad things" Penelope laughed.

"Don't be surprised, he can do a lot more than that," said Hermione.

"Like what?" Cho asked.

"He can drive you crazy if he wants to," Hermione said no more, but it was enough for the Ravenclaw girls to stare at me.

"Maybe she's right" I agreed as I spun Penelope "But I'm also a cool guy" I said to the arched Penelope held by my hands.

After that, I took them to the library, and, as promised, I taught them some very rare spells that I could find in bookstores or the ministry and that were little known. It was interesting because many of its effects, although impractical, were very curious.

...

I had secretly followed Pansy, she went looking for Draco as I imagined, she had a box of chocolates in her hands and a hidden letter. At one point, she approached him and...

"Draco?"

"Yes, what do you want?"

"I…wanted to know…if you…" she tried to say, slightly blushing.

"You can get to the point, I have things to do" Malfoy, somewhat impatient that she was taking so long to speak, hurried her on.

"I…have this for you" she handed him the box of chocolates.

"Hmm…thanks, I'll get you something later" Malfoy replied after taking the box.

"Really?" Pansy asked excitedly.

"It's what I'm supposed to do, I have to go" Said Draco now that Crabbe and Goyle had reached his side.

"I… I wanted to ask you if you wanted to…spend the rest of the day with me," Pansy found the courage to say.

"To do what?"

"Just…hanging out…" The tough, fierce Pansy was being coy.

"I don't have time for your games, I have more important things to do"

"But..."

"Go to your private room if you want. I don't know why they allow a place like this without letting us in, I'll send another complaint to my father" He said since Malfoy was one of those who complained about not being able to enjoy that luxury "You couldn't just walk in there and give permission? Should you be able to let us in?"

"I... I can't, that place is run by Weasley and he won't let anyone in that he doesn't like" Pansy apologized.

But does he let you in?

"No, well yes, but that's..."

"It doesn't matter, I don't want to know anything about Weasley and you anyway... useless" That last word was only whispered, but he had the bad luck that Pansy, being so attentive to him, heard it and froze.

The worst thing for Pansy was seeing that Draco, not understanding that the chocolates received were a girl's feelings, gave the box to his followers, who began to eat them as they left the common room.

And now, at this moment, I was looking at Pansy who was sitting on a small wall, alone, apart from the others, and very depressed.

"Hey Pansy" I greeted her.

"What do you want Weasley?" She responded angrily.

"I came to see how you are"

"That doesn't matter to you" she moved her gaze away.

"We said we would try to be friends"

"It's not true, we said we would try not to hate each other in front of others" she corrected me, aggressive.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong with you? The girls are uncomfortable with your attitude, and I don't think you want to bring them down. Tracey, Millicent, and Daphne had a great time, but you're still missing" I tried to start a conversation.

"You want me to tell you, well, I'll tell you. It's all your fault, I always thought I could come to Hogwarts, spend my time with Draco and get closer to the point where he…" she didn't say the last part out of embarrassment "but since I've known you this has only gotten worse, I'm getting further and further away from Draco" She said sobbing a little, not crying, but very sad.

"That's not my fault, that the child can't see beyond himself has nothing to do with me. I think you ask a lot of an eleven-year-old, I'm an anomaly, so I'm not a good comparison"

"How can it not be your fault?" She yelled at me, "Yesterday I got up the strength to write him a letter, get him some chocolates, but none of it could be welcomed because of you"

"Do you think that even if I didn't exist, things would be very different?"

"Yes!"

"Well, you're a bit silly"

"Screw you!"

"Okay, I didn't mean to be rude, I just think love makes you a little blind. I guess I could try to see it with this new potion, maybe even take it out on Malfoy for you."

"What are you going to do to Draco?!" she exclaimed, still worried about the boy who didn't reciprocate "I won't let you do anything to him, I'll tell the teachers"

"I haven't done anything yet and you can't accuse me" I clarified "beside it's not that bad. Look at this potion" I showed her a small vial with a crimson pink liquid "This is a love potion"

"Hum… I knew you couldn't have anything good. You can't even like a girl anymore you need potions to make them obsessed with you" she scoffed.

"Oh no, my girl, this potion is special, nothing like those love potions. This potion, for 24 hours, is capable of making the one who drinks it feel true love, not a simple obsession"

"As if that's possible." She didn't buy it.

"Well it is, this potion is very expensive and it can only get one Valentine and only one"

"Really? No, it must be another one of your lies" she denied, although now she doubted.

"It's 100% real, otherwise I wouldn't dare to use it"

"Really?"

"Yes"

"..." Pansy at that moment stared at the potion in my hands as if it were a treasure that she must have "And..."

"Stop right there, I know what you're thinking. You want to use this potion on Draco so that he, for one day, realizes your feelings and when the effect wears off, he understands that you love him and that he loves you" I stopped her with my hand.

"Okay, I know where this is going, what do you want from me?" She said angrily, partly because I perfectly guessed what she was thinking.

"I don't want anything, but think, if you gave it to Draco, do you think he wouldn't realize that from one day to the next he likes you? Can't you imagine that he would reproach you when he found out?"

"I…he would understand." She hesitated, but she believed that Draco would realize her love and forgive her.

"Love has made you dumb too. Besides, I wouldn't give it to you, I plan to use this on Draco too" I told her as she looked at the potion smiling.

"What?! Do you like Draco too?!" She jumped in horror.

"No idiot, but if I were to secretly put it in his drink… Can you imagine the look on his face when he realizes he's in love with Potter? Hahahaha" I laughed mischievously.

"I won't let you do that!" She threatened me.

"You know me well enough, could you stop me? Even if you told someone, do you think the headmaster would waste this opportunity to upset one of his rivals' sons? Remember that he is a much worse person than me"

"I... I..." Pansy was left in a dilemma, she didn't want to see the person she liked falling in love with another boy. And if in the end, he ended up liking him? "I'll find a way to stop you" she told me, to which I smiled at her.

"Well, we can make a deal"

"Hajj... I knew it would end like this..." She closed her eyes tightly and regretfully.

"You're the one who wants to save Draco from Potter's 'wand'..."

"What do you want?" She looked at me with a lot of hate.

"How about instead of making Draco take it, you drink it yourself?"

"What?!" She freaked out.

"That you drink it"

"Do you want me to like Potter...? No...! You want me to fall in love with you!"

"I'm not going to deny that I'm intrigued as to what a Pansy who doesn't hate me and loves me would be like, I think it would be worth wasting this potion"

"I'm not going to do it! I will never fall in love with you"

"Then Draco will eat sausage tonight…you understand me" I said, turning to leave.

"Wait!..." She was silent for a moment "You have to promise not to do anything to me while I'm under the effects of the potion" she looked at me with red eyes.

"Fine, I won't go too far with you, even if you beg me. But after taking this potion you'll also have to spend the rest of the day with me, you can't hide in your room or anything" I told her and she shrugged, but, after hesitating for a while, she accepted.

"Give it to me" She extended her hand to me and I put the potion in it, but before I let her take it I told her.

"If you happen to break the potion, next time I won't tell you anything and I'll make sure Draco is known as the whore in all of Gryffindor.

Pansy paled a little at this, not denying that she considered it, but now she put the thought out of her head. She took the vial and exchanged glances between it and me, then opened it and drinks the contents in one sip because she knew the longer she took, the more she would hesitate.

Once the content was finished, she kept her eyes closed, and only after a while did she open them when she saw that nothing was happening.

"I'm fine?" She looked at herself and me "HA, your potion was useless Weasley, and I was scared"

"It must have worked" I didn't doubt the archmage's products.

"Well, I feel nothing, no fascination for you or the desire to worship you as a god"

"I think you have the wrong idea of love... but you should still spend the rest of the day with me"

"As you wish, now that your potion didn't work, I have nothing to fear"

From there we went to find the other Slytherin girls and joined the group. They were surprised that I was able to bring Pansy with me and that we would join them.

We keep going around the castle, chatting and playing with some things. The girls got along and had a good time together, even joking with me about what happened this morning with Percy. Pansy used to accidentally let out a few very sincere laughs at some of my jokes, but she quickly hid it.

We had lunch in the large dining room with a Red at each table to be with the respective groups. After this morning, when Pansy and I teamed up in class, without her realizing it, we began to have a more harmonious dialogue and if there were insults they didn't feel like they used to.

By the time we ate in the great hall, the snake team made no secret of her good humor and chatter, much to the surprise of many who knew that Pansy didn't get along with me, but this one she involuntarily ignored those looks.

It was fun and in the afternoon we spent a while in the Lair, there Pansy let slip what was her Christmas present from me, which no one knew. At the insistence of her friends, she had to go find it and show it to them.

"It's very beautiful" Tracey told her.

"I know, I didn't show it because I didn't want anyone to think I had a good relationship with Red, but I really think it's one of the most beautiful wands I've ever seen and that was the only reason I didn't throw it away even though I wanted to do it" She said, but then she realized that I was present listening to everything and she blushed "I'm going to the bathroom" She ended up running away.

She came to a while later after wetting her face to try and get out of her embarrassed state.
