Chapter 52: Gambling Again

After finishing dinner, I headed towards the Slytherin common room, but I was surprised when I entered and saw that, unlike other days, it was more crowded than usual. There were several students gathered in some groups.

When I showed up, I got stares from many, mainly because my hair color makes such a contrast to the green in the salon. I ignored them and kept walking until I saw the girls gathered at a table as well and decided to ask them what all the fuss was about.

"Hey, Tracey, Millicent, Daphne and the other…what's going on?" I approached them and asked them, our relationship was pretty good at this point.

"Who are you calling 'The other'?" Pansy complained.

"Excuse me... do you want 'my sweetie' to be better?" I told her as I put my arm around her neck, hugging her.

"Ahh...get off!" She pushed me away quickly in desperation, taking a look around and her companions.

Pansy was afraid that someone would find out about something, but then she realized that everyone saw it as if 'Weasley' was bothering her. She relaxed and gave me a murderous look, She knew that I wasn't going to say anything and that she wasn't either, so I had taken advantage of her to annoy her. The only person who knew that things could be different was Tracey, who already knew some things and began to think that maybe there was something between Pansy and the redheaded boy.

"What's wrong? If you're not 'the other' or 'my sweetheart', how will I call you? By your name? It's not like we sneak out to kiss at night" I kept mocking her with the truth.

"You...!!!" Pansy was flushed and upset. She couldn't complain about anything, since she was afraid of screwing up and messing it up, so she just fell over and tried to act the best she could.

"Pansy, you're so red, don't you actually run away with him at night?" Tracey scoffs.

"Shut up Tracey, I just can't stand this bloody redhead, I wish Draco could teach him a lesson" she complained.

"Why Draco? Can't you do it?" Millicent asked. She was upset with Malfoy, but she didn't want to turn against her friend either, so she simply commented that it was better not to involve him.

"Yes, it would be interesting to see Pansy try to subdue me, I wonder how it will be... Will she corner me against the wall and hold me by my clothes...?" I said referring to one of our sessions where she had tried to take more control.

"Shut up! The only thing that wanted to crash against the wall is your horrible face" She screams even redder. She almost looked like she wanted to cry, she couldn't contain her emotions, she felt like words that she shouldn't say almost slipped out, so she wanted to change the subject "Why are you here? Better go"

"I wanted to ask why the crowd in the room today" I stopped teasing her since I didn't want everything to be ruined either.

"It's for tomorrow's game" Millicent said

"Game? Quidditch?!" I reacted, I didn't pay much attention, even though I was in the stadium for a long time. Unimportant things were left out of my head, what mattered to me was the mission of hunting criminals and my practice, as well as interacting with some girls.

"Yeah, we're going to face Gryffindor tomorrow, so the players are getting everyone's encouragement, as well as commenting that Potter is the new Gryffindor Seeker," Tracey replied.

"Ohh... I forgot..." I was saying, but a voice was heard behind me.

"I'm not surprised you forget so many things, if the only thing you think about is your little Ravenclaw whore" A complaint was heard with clear contempt and mockery.

"Ah… my hemorrhoids, another thing I forgot… how about Gemma?" I turned around to see our prefect.

"If anyone here is a pain in the ass, it's you. I didn't know you could lower the Slytherin name even further, but then you show up and strut around like a slut next to the bitch from Clearwater." Attracted the attention of several here, although some disagreed, they had been present and liked the performance.

"Jealousy is not good Gemma, I know that nobody dares to ask you to dance, but that's not why you call others a bitch" I showed no weakness.

"How I wish I could shut that mouth of yours"

"And why don't you try it? I'm surprised you haven't come to bite my ass like before" It was a real doubt, after that fight with Penelope I didn't know anything more about her.

"Professor Snape forbade me to do anything physical to you again" she showed clear discontent and fury since she had also been grounded for a week after their last fight "If it wasn't for that, you would already be hanging from the astronomy tower with your broom stuck on your ass and your face like a pig"

"Gemma..." I sighed "I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but brooms don't go in the butt. You should stop keeping yours in there, maybe that way you'll stop being such a bitch."

"Can you stop fighting now?! Gemma, leave Weasley, we have a match tomorrow and we have to focus on that, then you can solve your problems with him" Said one of the male prefects who was next to Marcus Flint .

"You're right, this trash isn't worth our attention at the moment" Gemma desisted. She didn't really want to, but if she went along, she would leave the impression that she didn't care about her house quidditch team.

"Well, I don't want to waste time with you either. How's the betting going? Has it started yet?" I asked, wanting to see if she could make any money from the game.

"Ohh...does Weasley want to lose what little money he has?" Draco said that he had just arrived and heard what I said, but then he stepped aside since several older students were already in front of me and Gemma's attitude was already dominant enough that he wanted to intervene more.

"Let me guess, will you sully our house name further by betting on our enemies?" Gemma exclaimed, still wanting to fight.

"I don't need to stain it, you're already doing pretty well with your mad dog attitude. And yes, I plan to bet on the lions" I said causing everyone in the room to glare at me, even the girls who didn't understand why I would do it, or rather why I said it out loud.

"Wouu... the hat may have put you in the wrong house, clearly you're stupid enough to say that in front of all of us, just like the idiots in Gryffindor" Gemma said very angry but pleased that the hate addressed me "You didn't think that even though I can't do anything to you, the rest of the house could. I think there are several here who want to leave you worse off than I wanted" She said while pointing to several older students alongside the Quidditch team players.

"I'm not afraid, the only reason they want to do something like that is if they're afraid of losing to me" I scoffed, since I started my hunt for criminals I've stopped being afraid of Hogwarts students. I think that in this situation of everyone against me, I would have a 50% chance of coming out well, even more so considering that here I can use my blood magic.

"Who would be afraid of someone who is about to lose even their teeth?" Gemma said, disgusted with my expression of trust and contempt for them.

"If you're not afraid, how about you bet with me?" I can't help but show the devil's smile on my face.

"Of course, I can't do anything physically, so I would never miss an opportunity like this to make you beg for mercy" Gemma's eyes were shining, Professor Snape reprimanded her strongly last time and she could only grit her teeth helplessly but now he had a chance.

"No! Don't bet with him!" Pansy yelled, jumping out of her chair almost instinctively when she heard it, this drew all attention to her and she cringed as she realized her action was suspicious.

"What's wrong Parkinson's?" One of the Quidditch team players asked.

"She already lost a bet with me and suffered the consequences, I guess she wants to protect you. Pansy, you're a good-hearted girl, but she's not worth your concern" I told Pansy as I patted her shoulder and gave her a serious look.

"Wow Weasely, not only are you a very hateful troll shit, but you also like to annoy girls" Gemma said somewhat annoyed, she believed that I had done something bad to Pansy and she was not happy with that. She was a bitch to me, but she still protected the other girls.

"Foremost, I don't pick on girls, girls make me pick on them" I clarified "but Pansy is right, maybe you should retire, I don't want you to be left with some psychological problem after losing. Look at Parkinson, she only lost one small bet and she's already very worried about you" I provoked her.

"Ha, now I'm not only going to make you suffer, I'm also going to make you pay for what you did to Pansy. Let's bet!" She was eager to make me suffer, she could see some fear in Pansy's eyes on me, though the real emotion wasn't exactly fear.

"Well, if I win I plan to break your ass, I'll spank you for a whole hour" I said, I planned to use my [Blood Control(Pain)] when I did so that she would regret turning against me.

"No problem, when I win you'll have to run all over Hogwarts naked…with a reducio on your dreary thing and with your wand up your ass" she laughed wickedly.

"You are a nasty person" I told her while looking at her with real disgust, she was clearly very insidious "I accept that but then I will spank you for 3 consecutive hours, and only after that will you be free"

"I don't see a problem with something that isn't going to happen" she said confidently.

"One more thing... I want an unbreakable vow" I said seriously causing her to widen her eyes, even more so everyone in the room was also surprised.

"Fine" she ended up agreeing, showing no less determination than me.

"Gemma, stop, this is too much" said the other prefect.

"Calm down Liam, he requested it and I also agree, so he won't be able to escape and he will finally get what he deserves. We all want him to understand that the glorious house of Slytherin cannot be insulted without consequences"

"Yes, but it's too much, there are other better magical contracts for this, you don't have to go that far"

"I've made my decision, help us make the vow" The prefect still wanted to stop us, but Gemma wouldn't let him and he had to help us.

"But Gemma, Potter is a good flyer." Pansy still wanted to avoid her.

"The fact that the child has talent cannot change the final result, we have the best team in all of Hogwarts. Calm down Pansy, I will take revenge for you" Gemma replied without hesitation.

On the other hand, Millicent and Tracey also tried to stop me, but I kept going. I didn't plan on losing this, and if there was even the slightest chance of it happening, I wouldn't care too much, since I'll kill everyone who sees me when I run naked.

We both started and made an unbreakable vow, specifying what each of us would have to do in case the team we supported lost in tomorrow's game. We clarify what would happen in case the game does not take place or any other eventuality to be sure. Also, we added a clause where the winning side has one month to claim their share, after that the bet will be void, just in case someone for some reason can't carry out the other's claim and ends up accidentally dying.

When we took the oath, the atmosphere changed, a simple dispute seemed to progress to another level too quickly. Many remained silent, they didn't know if it was that bad, they were more nervous than us. The first-year girls were more worried, Tracey and Millicent are good girls, Daphne also thought it wasn't worth it, and Pansy… Pansy didn't know what to think.

Shortly after taking the oath we saw how Snape approached us with a furious expression, someone had gone to inform him but he didn't arrive in time to stop us.

"What have you two done?!" He asked, clearly angry.

"Nothing"x2

"You have sworn an unbreakable vow! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS?" He yelled at us, causing both Gemma and me to duck our heads "What idiots do you have to be to use something like that on a bet! YOUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE!"

"But professor…" Gemma tried to say.

"But nothing! I could expect something so careless from Weasley who is in his first year and doesn't stop doing stupid things, but you... can't imagine how dangerous what you're doing is" He didn't stop looking at us. At this point everyone around us moved away from us and watched from afar "You guys are coming with me" he said, grabbing us by our clothes and leading us out of the common room.

-Before that in another part of the castle-

With my clone, I was in front of the statue that guards the director's office and after several sweets, I was able to enter. The director was again writing on parchment and when he saw me he was somewhat curious about my appearance.

"What brings you to my office, Mr. Weasley?" He asked him, not knowing what he would come up with now.

I walked over to his desk and leaned an elbow on him, snapped my fingers, pointed at him and with a friendly smile on my face, I told.

"Headmaster, You know? I've been thinking about something"

"What could it be?" He asked me, very confused by my current attitude, I have never shown so much positivity between us

"Well, the last dark lord may not be dead."

"Why do you say so?" He got serious. No longer trying to pretend to me that all was well on these issues.

"A body was never found, it just disappeared, so it's possible it's there, hiding, waiting to come back."

"Interesting analysis, but why are you bringing this up?" he tried to see where I was going.

"Well, Potter survived, and possibly in the future, he wants to seek revenge against him" I explained.

"And you think we should avoid it?"

"No… Potter will have to face him at some point, it would be difficult for us to avoid him completely."

"So?"

"You see, I think Potter should try to become strong for the future that awaits him. I have noticed that he had a difficult childhood, which makes me very sad" I looked sympathetic and pity "So I think raising his confidence would be a great support for him, let's find something so that he can feel a sense of victory and glory, to help him raise his self-esteem... tomorrow's Quidditch match, for example, I think winning his first match would give him some self-confidence "

"Do you want us to cheat in the match?" The director was completely confused at this point, this was nothing like what he used to see from me.

"No, no, no, no, no... well, yes. I mean, it's just a game of some kids at school compared to the future of our savior Harry Potter. He did a lot for the wizarding world, I don't think that it's wrong to repay some of that big debt with this simple favor" I said, placing a hand on my chest as I nodded.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Weasley, but I'm not capable of doing that, maybe your intentions were good, but I can't allow tricks like that" he said, although he clearly didn't trust my intentions.

"Of course, we can't do that... if it happened by coincidence, it wouldn't have anything to do with us, we are honest people who wouldn't do something like that... but things happen, right?" I gave him a thumbs up and winked at him twice.

"Why do you really want Harry to win the match?" He asked, he didn't believe anything he said and wanted to know what my motives were.

"I've done a lot of bad things... but now I want to do something good for the world, even if I have to do something bad for it, it's a price I'm willing to pay."

"You once told me 'I've lied a lot and I know you're doing it now'" The headmaster used my own phrase against me.

"Does that mean you've lied a lot?"

"Just tell me why you want to…" he said, but before he finished, Red's body in front of him dissolved into a pool of blood.

The headmaster was a little confused by my sudden disappearance, but shortly after he saw Snape enter his office with an angry face dragging two students. The headmaster got up from his desk and walked towards the three of them, having a feeling.

"What's wrong Severus?" The director asked, looking at both of us.

"These two have sworn an unbreakable vow on a bet on tomorrow's match," Snape said furiously as he released us.

The director when he heard that was surprised, but then he gave me a look like saying "Really?". He understood a little why, but he still couldn't quite believe it.

"Let's see, let them explain what happened" said the director.

Gemma and I told what happened, with a few fewer details, but enough for it to be understood, we didn't want them to find out too many things. Snape yelled at us for everything we said, interrupting us every so often.

"And what did they bet?" asked the director.

With Gemma, we looked at each other for a moment, and then we said at the same time.

"Weasley had to go to the courtyard and do the most embarrassing thing he could think of"

"Gemma would have to spend a night in my room acting like a piece of furniture"

"Just because of that foolishness, you put your lives at risk?!" Snape yelled at us again, it seemed like a vein in his head was about to burst.

"Easy Severus, go take a break, I'll take care of everything. I'll make sure something like this doesn't happen again" the headmaster told him.

Our potion professor didn't want to leave, but he didn't want to stay either. He listened to the Headmaster and left the office, leaving us alone with him, but not before giving us one last look of disgust and disapproval.

"Well, now that Severus is gone, I think I'll keep it simple… Gemma, you are a prefect and a quite capable girl, I understand that this may have been a slip and a mistake"

"Yes sir"

"I don't think I need to remind you what's wrong and that you shouldn't do it again"

"Yes sir"

"Well, I think we can consider that you understood your mistake... you will receive 20 points less for Slytherin each to give an example to others, I also hope that you can tell your colleagues that what you did was wrong so they have no idea to repeat it" The headmaster agreed and we nodded "You may go Miss Farley, Mr Weasley is still a child who needs to be reminded more harshly"

Gemma attended and left the room, somewhat annoyed at the points lost and partly regretful of what she did, but she reminded herself that when she won she would get all this hassle off of her by taking it out on the redhead.

When the director and I were left alone, there was silence for a while.

"So that was why?" he asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Hey, maybe I was doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, but face it, I was going to do a good thing."

"I'm surprised what you can do... although I wouldn't want to run around the school naked like that either" said the principal

"You got into her mind, right?"

"Although I'm surprised that with that you only prolonged your order for 2 hours, aren't you thinking of doing something else?" The headmaster did not answer my previous question.

"I will give her what she deserves, she will suffer a little physically, but I will heal her enough so that it does not show"

"Like the criminals you're catching"

"Do you know about it?"

"I've been paying more attention to you since last time"

"And you didn't do anything why...?"

"I learned that it is better to watch from afar and not get too involved, I don't know what you would come out with if I got more involved. Although I don't agree that they were assigned to them either, but when I saw that you protected your partner from danger and only your copy was got into trouble, I decided to let them continue and see how they did. We don't lose anything and maybe it's a good way for them to learn something from society" Explained the director, he was worried about his students, but he wasn't going to interfere much if he wasn't necessary.

"Um…okay, are you going to help me?"

"Get out of my office Mr. Weasley, stop doing things like this and I advise you to wait a month if you win, so this doesn't progress to bigger things. It's better to end your dispute early, hate only brings more hate, it's better that it ends here" He dismissed me without wanting to argue with me

'It's going to end, that's for sure, but I'll choose the way' Was what I thought as I left the director's office.
